Jimena was our birth and postnatal doula. She was very thorough and walked us through every step of our antenatal, birth and postnatal preparation. She also provided invaluable advice - especially when discovering that our baby girl was breech, helping us to find alternative options and the right support within the NHS system. She found a specialist for breech birth who we immediately clicked with because of her honesty, energy and experience. During my postpartum recovery Jimena offered vital support, making sure I was eating nourishing foods & teas, listened to my concerns and emotional needs without judgment, and gave great baby-care tips. Jimena also assisted my physical recovery by teaching me exercises to work my internal muscles and pelvic floor. She also led a beautiful Mother’s blessing ceremony from which I walked away feeling empowered, loved and supported. I highly recommend her services! She is a very experienced doula that provides holistic support (physically, mentally and spiritually) for your transition into motherhood.

Jimena is a fantastic teacher who has crafted a unique yoga practice that is creative and challenging, but with a calming energy throughout. I took an online live pregnancy yoga class with Jimena and I really enjoyed it. It was a nice flow (lots of pregnancy yoga classes are too slow) so it was nice to move my body and energise for a bit, lots of nice stretchings and meditation at the end of the class. I was lucky to be part of a group doing post-natal yoga in the park with Jimena. The sessions were great with a really good focus on core and pelvic floor strengthening while Jimena also spent time on specific poses for our individual post-natal discomforts.

I am a medical doctor and was going thorough a very hard time in my life. I was treated with respect, kindness and no rush, and with gentle guidance I was able to start my road to recovery from my anxiety and depression. Here you are not judged, embracing neurodiversity. Happy to recommend. You may not realise the amount of healing that is taking place until after a while but when you look back you say wow. I was in a really dark place that I had not even realised. Now I'm back embracing life and engaging with my kids.

Jime is a great doula who is very passionate about helping women achieve a positive birth experience. She helped me connect with my baby during pregnancy, guided me through relaxing meditations, encouraged me to connect with my body and listen to my own intuition. We have the answers if only we look within and listen to our bodies and the cues they give. Jime not only offers guidance but has walked the walk. I wanted a free birth so it was great to have a doula who had free birthed themselves. She had experienced this and was able to share her wisdom, which reassured me greatly. Knowing it had been done and was possible, gave me the confidence I needed to commit to my birth preference. During birth, Jime helped set up the environment, made me herbal teas, ran me a bath and even filmed Ellie coming Earth side. I now have a video to cherish forever thanks to her camera skills ;) she taught me how to latch Ellie for breastfeeding, helped me shower after the bath and is such a kind and non-judgemental person, that you feel so relaxed and at ease with Jime. Jime was on hand postpartum to help me through my struggles and offered invaluable advice. She was beyond helpful and helped me feel not so alone in those first few hard weeks of being a new mum. I had the birth I had hoped for and Jime’s advice, guidance and support made it possible. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to other women, looking for someone who believes in the power of natural birth, the strength of women’s bodies and the importance of listening to your own intuition. Thank you Jime for helping me have the birth experience I had hoped for! Ellie thanks you too :) x

Jimena is both a fantastic teacher and person. I have been going to her weekly Yoga class for around 2 months now and can honestly say it is the highlight of my week. As pretty much a complete beginner with yoga, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed from even before the first class began. Jimena has created a great little community to be part of with our classes and is so welcoming to everyone, no matter what their level of ability. I wish I had found her sooner. During classes Jimena will help you in a relaxed manner to reach some poses you may need help with and thus maximise the benefits from taking time to make sure everyone is getting whatever benefits they are looking to achieve from her classes. After every class I feel 100 times better than before both physically and mentally and I couldn't recommend her enough for anyone looking for a new teacher.

Jimena is an amazing yoga teacher - I’m a beginner and she gives lots of adaptations to different levels and needs.
