Life enhancing yoga! The classes Leigh runs make me mentally and physically calmer, stronger and happier. I love that Leigh encourages you to 'your optimum not your maximum'. Its a really supportive environment and the other participants are welcoming and friendly. This is not instagram-perfect yoga, its somewhere non judgemental to be yourself and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I have been attending Leigh's Hatha Yoga class for nearly 7 years. I find Leigh to be a wonderful teacher - always taking the time to demonstrate each position and guide us through, and always showing us alternatives to try depending on our different abilities (and energy levels!). Over time I have acquired the skills to be able to relax my mind and body through mantras and guided relaxation; I have radically improved my upper body and core strength (although I have to say that my balance is still as wobbly as ever - but I'm still working on it!). Leigh suggests we try out different Yoga classes and teachers - so we can find the one that suits us best. But for me, no other class or teacher can match Leigh's exceptional ability to encourage and instruct her students, which makes attending one of her classes a real pleasure.

I have been attending Leigh's yoga class for several years. Leigh starts off the class by inducing you into the session effortlessly and gets you to leave behind your worries almost instantly. She is mindful of the abilities of the class and makes each one of us feel at ease; constantly reminding us that we are not competing with each other and are there to enjoy the session. She reminds us that sometimes we may feel better than other times when doing yoga and if we are not up to it for that session then we should not worry but to enjoy the moment. Leigh guides us how to do the physical exercises, with the breathing techniques subtly. She offers advice how to improve postures without making one feel the centre of attention. She reminds us that there is no one rule for the postures and to do what you feel best able to do. The relaxation at the end of the class, given through a calming voice, is probably the best thing. But most of all Leigh has a total love of yoga and this infects each of us. Leigh takes considerable effort and pride in preparing for each class and provides us with mats, blankets and blocks if we have none or forgotten them at home.

As testament to Leigh's wonderful teachings I've actually attended her birthlight classes for all three of my pregnancies. Her warm and welcoming nature allows you to relax and embrace the sessions and create real one on one time for you and your developing baby. Her breathing techniques taught ultimately helped me achieve the most holistic birth possible despite medically induced labours. Wonderful classes for all mums to be.

As total beginners we were made to feel really welcome at the class. Leigh's calm and patient approach makes the class very enjoyable and has proved beneficial to our health. I absolutely loved the birthlight yoga classes! The classes were a lovely relaxing way to keep moving and meet other mothers to be but more importantly all the information and tools given during classes made labour much less scary and easier to cope with as a first time mother
