Absolutely loved the three classes I've done at At1.Space so far, I've done Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The classes are dynamic and powerful, challenging my mind and body, but within my own limits. I am loving the time away from thinking about anything other than the instructor. Yasmine and Julian both have great teaching styles with giggles and smiles as well as Zen and Ohm! Looking forward to my next class. After many years of practising at the Power Yoga Co in Fulham, I struggled to find anything comparable... Now I've finally found it!

Having completed my 200 hours yoga teacher training.
I can say this has been one of my better life decisions.
The subject matter carefully presented by Yasmin and Deborah. We have been natured and developed with care and attention.
A bonus will be the life long friendship with fellow students.
Thank you both so much.
Looking forward to teaching with you in coming years.

I am half way through the teacher training course at the at1.SPACE studio and I’ve loved everything I’ve learnt so far.
I attended the open day and I was very impressed with the studio, I also spoke to people doing the teacher training who were very enthusiastic and then I met Mumtaz who really inspired me to join the course.
The course is very thorough and full of important information which is a great pleasure to learn.
We do a mixture of practical and theory, covering lots of adjustments and modifications which is so useful.
The highlight of this course for me has been around the story behind yoga and what it really means to us - my initial understanding of yoga has changed so much and I have a wider, more open story around yoga now.
I would highly recommend the course to anyone considering it.

I am currently doing the teacher training course at at1. SPACE.
I am really enjoying the course so far. I've learnt so much already and I'm only on module 2.
The teaching is truly inspiring. There is a lot to learn but every aspect is broken down, so that we understand every aspect.
It is held in a large studio and there is also a kitchen eating area. All very welcoming.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is concidering teaching yoga, or for anyone who simply wants to learn more about yoga, themselves and their yoga path.
The highlight of this course for me is Mumtaz, she has a true passion for what she does and shares her knowledge in such an inspiring way and encourages you to explore the possibilities of yoga.

Completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training here and it was fabulous. Great people and a great space to relax, refresh and reset mind, body & spirit. 🧘🏻♀️ 🤸♀️ 🙏🏼

Used to attend classes when I lived in Nottingham, was very friendly and welcoming here, started my love for yoga.
I'm now completing the yoga teacher training (mostly online for me ) due to living in Mancheter. I couldn't ask for a more amazing group, Mumtaz & Yasmin are amazing teachers, I was nervous at the start wondering if it was right for me or if I was ready, but I am loving every second. Very glad I made the choice to start! Thanks everyone ❤

I am interested in getting my yoga teaching qualification and Mumtaz not phoned me to fully explain what the course entailed but also invited me to the studio to try a couple of classes so I would be able to make a fully informed decision as to whether it was for me or not. I had an incredible couple of hours in the best energy and will definitely be booking on to the course. Thank you Mumtaz 😊

The best yoga studio I've ever been to! After years of trying different studios, I've finally found one that fits my needs perfectly. It's a beautiful space, with perfect ambiance. The instructors are attentive and welcoming, providing classes that are varied and provide enough of a physical challenge that I can already see progression in my practice. I have been nearly every single day since I signed up - I finally feel at home!

I attended Mumtaz's Summer Workshop in July and really enjoyed it! It was good to be able to deconstruct poses and focus on what feels right and also to focus on breathing and relaxation. Working in groups on our ' flow' was good fun and it was great to see how the other groups had created their 'flows'. I always feel very welcome at the Studio and I have got to know new people too. The food at the end of the session was lovely and it was nice to sit and chat with different people.

Yoga teachers who educate and uplift on many different levels. Yasmin and Mumtaz create warmth and love within their yoga community, for yogis of all levels and ages. Can't recommended them highly enough!
I am also an at1space yoga student. Having completed module 4 of my training, online because I am currently living in Switzerland, I feel empowered, inspired, supported, physically and emotionally developed, educated, befriended and hugely valued.
Yasmin and Mumtaz are infectious in their approach. Their love and knowledge of yoga is fed into their teaching skilfully and creatively and I can honestly say that I am loving every minute of this journey. Don-t hesitate if you are considering starting your yoga journey, at1space really do offer it all.

Beautiful and safe place to practice yoga with amazing teachers. Before trying At1 Space I had been nervous about going to a class because of preconceptions I had about what the expectation would be etc...but this place was a lovely surprise and I felt comfortable straight away. Yasmin and Mumtaz are incredible teachers, welcoming, knowledgable, approachable and very skilled. I love that At1 Space offers a range of different classes, with different focuses and levels of intensity. Although I consider myself beginner I feel I am able to fully engage in the classes because there are always options given. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves but also to always acknowledge that each body is different and to do what is comfortable for them. At1 also has a fantastic cafe with great healthy food if you fancy whilst at the studio. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to try yoga!

I love at.1! I am relatively new to yoga and all of the teachers here have truly helped me strengthen my practice. Mumtaz, Yasmin and Caroline all have different styles of teaching but something that's consistent throughout is how comfortable they make you feel, how inclusive they are and how they ensure you focus on your individual needs- not what everyone else is doing! I'm so glad I found this place and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

First class leading yoga teachers. I am a beginner and I felt so at home and welcome to learn and practice. It feels good to look after yourself!
Also an amazing space to work, I often work and have a lunchtime yoga practice - bliss! Great food too from the sensory kitchen located at the space!

Finally... I've found the perfect place. So happy I found this wonderful studio. For a yogini it has it all, if you want to give yoga ago then I seriously recommend trying it here. Lovely welcoming teachers with a variety of knowledge and experience, and great choices of classes that are every day. There's none of this bodyshape nonsense or got to be able to do this that or the other, all people are welcome, It does not have that stigma of a gym. The ambience is warm, relaxing and have it spot on which for me is also very important in yoga. There is also a lovely cafe which though I haven't tried yet certainly looks delicious and will be on my to do list for sure. Attended my much needed first class there today and as a person who suffers with mental health and having a bit of a wobble at the moment this is definitely better than my prescription!! I received a very warm welcome from Mumtaz that totally settled those anxious nerves on going somewhere new. I am really excited about going here and hope to one day be able to make those steps of learning to teach myself. I hope it gets all the support it deserves, as we all need some kind of yoga and space to get away to and at1.space certainly provides that.

This space is simply amazing. Almost 3 years ago, I underwent surgery that left me very unsteady on my feet. After finally plucking up the courage and confidence to go to a class, I was welcomed into the at1space. I can honestly say that my balance has dramatically improved over the past 3 months of attending classes here. I am so grateful to all the yoga teachers here and only wish I found this place sooner! The teachers always provide different options and encourage you to go at your own pace. A positive, accepting and non-judgemental environment makes this such a pleasant space to be. I have always been an advocate of yoga for both the physical and psychological benefits but seeing it for myself has been extraordinary. Thank you Yasmin, Mumtaz, Charlotte and Laura! X

250 classes later and I am still in love with At1.Space!
Yas and Mumtaz have created a safe space for yoga lovers and curious beginners. Every teacher has a different style of yoga to introduce you to no matter what level you are. This is the friendliest yoga studio I have ever been to it feels like home every visit!

I joined at here at the start of February for a trial to help with strength and serenity during pregnancy. The girls have been so accommodating to me, the classes are not tailored for pregnancy but after trying anti natal classes elsewhere I realised nothing was comparable to the effort and passion of the instructors at 1 space! I have never been made to feel left out or at a loss despite my condition and have been shown alternative postures if any aren’t suitable. The facilities are amazing, the yoga hall itself is so zen and warm and has such a nice vibe! I am new to yoga and not so flexible.... but there are classes to suite every level and I attend ones that are slower and less technical to suit my current ability. I have since signed up to a monthly membership and as someone who has never been committed to classes or gyms I know I will never look back, it’s exactly what is needed to break away from a hectic life and nourish body and mind! Cannot recommend enough :)

Always loved yoga but have struggled to find a studio where I felt challenged but supported simultaneously. At1 is the perfect studio this, and for intermediate level yoga if you are looking to challenge yourself in a stunning and comfortable environment. Been going everyday nearly for the last month and my mental and physical health has never been better :) (also the food and coffee are delicious)

I've been here several times now and it is such a fantastic place! Really unique, I don''t know of any other places like this in Nottingham. You are made to feel really welcome, lots of fab independent businesses within health and wellbeing. Mumtaz and Yasmin are passionate about yoga, and bringing a holistic approach to improve the wellbeing of everyone who visits. I visit on my own and never feel uncomfortable, it is a safe place to explore and experience positivity, and meet some really inspiring people! Even if you just pop down for a vegan cake and a smoothie, I'd highly recommend visiting!
Their workshops are also great, very well thought out and I have just left one feeling relaxed and content. Thank you ladies! :)

I love at1.SPACE, it is an amazing, non judgemental and diverse community. The teachers are incredible and are really invested in giving you the best experience and in depth knowledge about yoga. Beautiful space to retreat to after a long busy day especially working in such an urban area! The me-time everyone needs!

I have visited at1space a few times now and it has such a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The team there are so helpful and give you plenty of time to answer your questions. I took a team of colleagues yesterday for a corporate event and Yasmin was fantastic in helping me arrange the bespoke session. The group have all contacted me to say what a fab, relaxing morning they had and what a great place at1 is. Will definitely be going back for more yoga and meditation, I always leave feeling so relaxed and rested.

Never done yoga before in my life but always wanted to give it a try. Coming to At1 Space is the best thing I’ve decided to do in the longest time. The instructors are so kind and the classes are so enjoyable - there’s no judgement or ego, you are just encouraged to go at your own pace. 100% recommend it!

The best Yoga and Meditation I've ever done. Amazing teachers, who teach real technique and well being. The food at the sensory kitchen is delicious!! It's a place of complete well being and makes me feel at one that's for sure!

We are currently trialling corporate yoga for our business, Psychiatry-UK LLP. We are a remote company and were seeking to find a way to bring something to our team that would energise, refresh and balance us, as a break from the desk. The session was excellent. Mumtaz struck just the right balance between relaxation and promoting self care, and making us all work a little harder, to get our heart rates us. Since the session I have had great feedback from the team, which I am delighted to pass on here. We will definitely be having more yoga! Thank you!

Best Yoga Studio in town.

Like many people new to yoga, I can be found at the back of the room, not always understanding how my body should be working or feeling, yet still gaining such a lot physically, mentally and emotionally.
Today I had a 1:1session with Mumtaz. Mumtaz actively listened to my areas of concern about my yoga practice and where I felt I needed support and guidance and tailored the session to address my needs.
Mumtaz talked me though the yoga poses I was finding difficult, explaining the theory and the mechanics behind the pose, the muscle group being worked, showing me using props how to get my posture and alignment excatly right. The session was tailored to my needs, acknowledging the tightness in my hips. Over the hour, I got to concentrate fully on the fundamental poses of yoga, including downward dog and the warrior pose guided using the wall the help me understand how my body should be feeling.
I know now that my next yoga session will built on the solid foundations learnt today and indeed the first thing I did on my return home was to purchase a block so that I can practice at home using the techniques taught to me today.
I would highly recommend a private yoga session to anyone wanting to improve their practice it is so worth it. I have left the session feeling that I now have more tools in my tool box, not only to use in my yoga practice but also outside of the practice.

I have never felt so calm and content. The at1 classes have given me my happy place (and state of mind). All the staff are so welcoming and I felt so comfortable there so quickly. The range of classes enable you to really get a feel for the variety of styles taught here and to find your own preferred class. (Although personally I'm yet to come across a class I don't love). Finding at1 has made my university experience complete and I don't know what I'd do without it.

Awesome yoga studio, first time visiting and felt so much better than doing a class in a gym. I’m notoriously inflexible but found the class accessible yet challenging.
Will definitely be returning and hope to make use of other areas of the space!

Lovely space and atmosphere. My introduction to yoga was made easy with such lovely and friendly instructors. There is also a very pretty cafe with great food!

AMAZING!
At1.SPACE yoga is the best yoga place in Nottingham! Their class styles vary from slow paced meditation style yoga to intense exercise. The studio is great: the big open space is really relaxing and entices you to open up and go deeper into the stretch. The whole building just radiates a sense of relaxation and safety. Everyone who works there is lovely and Jordana who owns the nutrigo cafe makes peng aocado on toast.

Absolutely love at1.SPACE - such a friendly, welcoming space to be and practice Yoga.
I'm being mentored by the fabulous Mumtaz, who makes me feel so supported and valued. Loving being part of the mentoring group - helping me to continue to grow into the Yoga Teacher I wish to be.

Unique mix of great coffee, eco buys and yoga all 'at one place' - have especially enjoyed the yoga which invites you to go at your own pace, so providing me with the confidence to try different styles/classes. Thoroughly recommend

Excellent yoga instruction from experienced teachers, the relaxed environment is very good for one’s head space, great healthy food and some pretty decent coffee too. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice space but unpleasant experience. I've been here twice now and on both times I was freezing. There's no heating here and staff said they can't do anything about it.
I asked about the yoga classes but been told to refer to their website for more information instead.
Had a cuppa coffee and it was good.

What an amazing place, the lady looking after the place while we were at the venue was amazing! Very friendly, open and really cared to ensure the small event was going well and people were ok.
Definitely will go again and highly recommend for any small get together.
Thanks
