An Oasis of calm, peace and tranquility. Wonderful teachers, lots of yoga classes in many different styles. I regularly facilitate Sound Baths at Yoga Reading and the place is welcoming, spacious and airy with lots of free parking. Highly recommended.

I have been going to Yoga Reading for around a year and cannot recommend them enough. All of the instructors are so friendly and helpful. Everyone is made to feel welcome. I have felt and seen a great improvement in my postures since going. If you are looking to try a class give them a go

I have been a member of yoga Reading for well over a year now and it was the best decision i have made. The range of different classes and styles allow me to include yoga into my busy work schedule which has had an amazing impact on my body and mind, on and off the mat. Every teacher is professional and always make classes fun and interactive. It always feels good when in class to be around like minded people who share the same passion.

Great community, very inclusive, and good value. I’ve been going to classes for a few years now, and attend a variety of classes both on zoom and in person. The monthly membership works out as great value if you go to more than one class a week. I have an ongoing injury and the teachers are very good at helping me to adapt my practice to avoid pain, and strengthen. The classes are fun and it’s great to see all ages and genders attending. I particularly appreciate the gentle and mellow classes which are great for mobility and functional fitness. Thanks to Katia, Helen, Karen and all the teachers.

Katia and Yulia and the team provide a welcoming and safe space to explore all forms of yoga and Movement. All the teachers bring the breadth of their diverse experiences and skill sets to make your practice fun and work for you as an individual.

Best yoga studio in the world. I signed for Ashtanga sessions and I loved it. They concerned not just about their students but also the community.
An incredible place 🤗

Great yoga studio and the teachers are fantastic, they provide variations for poses and really help explain as you move through postures. I always leave feeling grounded.

I was hired to take some headshots and branding photography for Katia and Sophie, I was stunned at the range of classes they offered and found professionalism of their business refreshing. The information on their classes is easy to find on their website, so not wasting time asking questions over messenger. The parking was easy and the studio was beautifully clean, they understood and adhered to the covid rules. I would recommend their business 100%

I've been attending a range of classes with Yoga Reading for a good few years and they are absolutely the best. Skilled, knowledgeable and encouraging teachers that get to know each student and work with us to ensure we get the most from our practice - and enjoy it! Yoga Reading is more than classes - they have created a community of lovely people, hosting workshops and free events that are inclusive for everyone: they actively challenge the media image of yoga only being for beautiful, bendy people in expensive kit! (Fortunately for me!)

I highly recommend the classes I've been to at Yoga Reading. They are challenging when you need it, the teachers explain the reasons behind the poses/exercises, and everyone is very welcoming. One of the longer courses I attended was excellent and I have used lots of the ideas in my own practice and when teaching my classes. I'm looking forward to coming back soon!

I've tried quite a few different yoga classes in my life but nothing compared to Yoga Reading. Classes are of such high level that you leave stress at the door, and after an amazing practice, you'll have your mind at ease and your body warmed up, as a good mind & body exercise should do. Everyone is treated as an individual, having your personal boundaries respected by teachers, but without exclusions regarding different levels in class. You will see your practice developing earlier than expected, thanks to these amazing teachers.

I've been coming to Yoga Reading for nearly 5 years after joining one of their beginners courses. The teachers are all wonderful. The community is great. A simple down to earth studio, with excellent classes and a big heart!

I started doing yoga at Yoga Reading more than 7 years ago and have enjoyed a variety of yoga-related activities over the years. The weekly schedule and courses support virtually everyone in getting their body moving and a wide variety of workshops each month keep things interesting and 'fun'. While it is a humble, no-frills studio, the teachers elevate the space by bringing a genuine care for everyone that comes to classes and workshops. Whether you want to sweat or to relax and restore, there is a class on offer. Oh, and it is very convenient that there is so much free parking right outside!

I greatly enjoyed my Ashtanga Yoga courses, levels 1 and 2, with teacher Sophie, who was excellent and helpfully emailed videos of herself demonstrating the movements for home practice. Yoga Reading is very well organised, with good communication about classes and interesting activities available, including one-off sessions by visiting yoga experts. I am going to continue my yoga there and can highly recommend Yoga Reading.

Utterly LOVE this place. It has allowed me to learn and explore yoga of so many different types and in so many different ways. The teachers here are all so passionate, knowledgeable and personable. As a wobbly beginner I felt encouraged and supported, and as I have progressed on my yoga 'journey' the trachers have adjusted their guidance in line with my needs. I highly recommend the Ashtanga for Beginners course if you're a newbie and the Mysore sessions if you already have a practice.

I joined Yoga Reading a few months ago and I can’t recommend it enough! The place has a super friendly vibe and you’ll be spoilt for choice with all the classes. The teachers are knowledgeable, supportive and warm. Monday night functional flow with Sophie is the highlight of my week and Matt’s Vinyasa classes are creative and always encourage me to explore my edge!

I started practicing at Yoga Reading nearly 2 years ago. During this time I was training to become a teacher, Katia and Sophie have supported me 100%. I have learnt so much and continue to do so with their support. Both are amazing teachers and hold this space beautifully. There is a real sense of community at Yoga Reading and through that I have met some wonderful people. ❤️

My first ever yoga class I took was with Yoga Reading and I have never looked back. The functional flow and Yin Yoga are my favourite - a great variety of the types of yoga. The yoga reading timetable gives you no excuse to pass up on one of their classes - honestly cannot wait to get back!

I have taken Pilates classes for many years following a back injury but wanted to increase flexibility in my spine and more meditative practices - I therefore decided to try yoga but start with the basics. After much research, I found Reading Yoga and booked onto the beginner course. It is delivering everything I wanted and I can't believe how much more I get from the sessions following being taught how to engage every muscles so much more. Thank you, Matt and Yoga Reading - I couldn't recommend you more.

I started practising ashtanga here nearly five years ago, and since then Yoga Reading has expanded to incorporate so many different movement methods and teachers. There is something for everyone. The instructors are knowledgable, insightful and creative: most of all they genuinely care about each individual student.
My personal practice and teaching has developed leaps and bounds because of YR. Sophie and Katia are dedicated to building a community that supports one another and brings joy! I cannot recommend this place enough.

The beginners courses have been wonderful. Sophie is a highly experienced and inspirational teacher who helps everyone in the class progress at their pace in a relaxed, supportive and fun setting. Each class was very enjoyable and uplifting.

Fantastic! For a new, unbendy beginner I totally recommend Yoga Reading, great teachers, friendly, empathetic and really know how to teach, this has been the most valuable addition to help strengthen all areas so I can carry on doing sport in my mid fifties, thank you!!!
