The Pregnancy Yoga I did with Sarah carried me mentally through my pregnancy and helped me feel in control and healthy after having a tricky beginning. I've never been interested in Yoga and never thought I would be! Sarah has got me hooked. She is kind, patient, funny and totally tunes into every class which creates the most amazing vibe. The poems she shares are so thoughtful. What a truly super human being she is and I always felt so happy and lifted in her company.
Since she's left London (SOB!!) I've stuck with the Yoga. Thank you Sarah, I miss you and I miss your amazing LEGGINGS xxx

Pregnancy yoga with Sarah was brilliant. Sarah was very welcoming, I enjoyed every session and found the classes were relaxing and helped me to feel more confident about labour.

Sarah is without a doubt, one of the best yoga teachers I have ever had. She has a wonderful energy and great empathy which comes across in every well thought out class she teaches. Teaching a range of yoga styles, she blends her classes with beautiful and carefully chosen quotes and poetry. I always left each class feeling inspired and stronger, both mentally and physically. She is much missed here in London. People of Southampton - you are very lucky!

I love the way Sarah teaches yoga. Everything flows so seamlessly and organically and Sarah always holds a very supportive space.
Every practice is full of insight about the link between yoga and our mental health and Sarah always encourages us to be kind to ourselves.
I started practicing with Sarah when she started teaching on Zoom in 2020. She always made sure that everyone felt safe and welcome and I always enjoyed her classes.

I've been doing yoga with Sarah for some years, both in person and on zoom when not able to do live classes. She's a fantastic teacher with great energy but also empathy. Her classes have always been fun and you come away feeling energised and ready to take on the day. She also did a fantastic slower relaxation class which really helped with sleep and learning to wind down. I highly recommend Sarah as a teacher and will miss her greatly now she's now longer London based.

I have been to many yoga classes and Sarah is among the best! The personal touch with her insight and anecdotes always made every class so enjoyable. Sarah accomodates to everyone regardless of your level. I loved how she tailored the pregnancy classes to our needs/aches and encouraged us to bond as a group. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Sarahs classes on & off for over 10 years., and this year I have been doing her Zoom classes. She is full of energy & enthusiasm & makes Yoga accessible to all, no matter your age or ability. You are in a safe pair of hands when you attend her classes. I love her whacky sense of humour, and I love her choice of poems. I have had various yoga teachers over the years and I think Sarah is one of the best.

Sarah’s yoga classes are wonderful. As a beginner I really benefit from the individual attention, which Sarah is able to provide despite being in a class environment. Sarah is so knowledgeable about all aspects of yoga and creates a calming and relaxing space.

Sarah is a brilliant Yoga teacher, I’ve been lucky enough to practice in her class in London and thankfully online during lockdown, Sarah is a breath of fresh air. With a wonderful blend of yoga styles, to suit you and your pace, Sarah makes you feel really comfortable and relaxed in her class. You will have an engaging experience with such a wonderful and inspirational teacher. Highly recommend!

Sarah is the best yoga teacher I've ever had. She creates something special in her classes by making each one feel personal and inspirational. She is warm and funny but just the right level of spiritual, peppering her classes with beautiful poetry.

I was lucky enough to stumble across Sarah’s class in London 5 years ago and how fortunate I was. She’s an amazing teacher, full of knowledge, humour and wisdom and makes you feel totally at ease whatever level you’re at.
If you’re lucky enough to live near Sarah I’d definitely recommend you book a class.

Sarah’s classes are a magical combination of her yoga wisdom, nuggets of science, poetry and lots of humour! Joining her classes regularly made my body the strongest it’s ever been, and my soul cared for. But most importantly it taught me not to take myself so seriously - which I’ll be forever grateful for. Thanks Sarah!

Sarah has been my wonderful yoga teacher for 6 years, through two pregnancies and beyond. Excellent antenatal and postnatal yoga teacher and fabulous, relaxing yin classes. Welcoming and super friendly for all levels.

Sarah's classes are a delight coupled with wit and wisdom! I attended general level classes twice a week for some years until Sarah moved away and would recommend for anyone looking to improve flexibility and grow in confidence. Sarah always throws in something new to keep you on your toes! Much missed in Walthamstow.

I have practiced with Sarah for over 4 years. Her approach to yoga is rounded and holistic, and she approaches her teaching with great sensitivity, and an awareness that yoga is a spiritual journey as much as it is a physical one. She fuses the poses beautifully with quotes and poetry, and I would describe her Yin classes as both blissful and nutritious (!) because I always leave them feeling as though I have nourished body and soul in the most relaxing and loving of ways. Thank you Sarah for giving me time and space to slow down and take care each week for the past four and a half years ☺️. Namaste xxx

Hands down the best birth prep I did was Sarah’s pregnancy yoga. Come for the nourishment of body and soul and to feel empowered and ready, stay for the anecdotes that will make you snort during Warrior pose. I still pick from her techniques when I need to boost my confidence.

I have been practising yoga with Sarah via Zoom for the past year or more. Her sessions are long, over an hour, and carefully programmed to slowly increase the energy, maintain it, and finally decrease it. She loves poetry and philosophy and frequently reads passages by writers she likes.
I know she will not approve of my saying this, but it is a great workout. She won't approve because she doesn't regard it as a workout, but more as a way of getting in touch with your mind and body, and just for a short time, living in the moment.
I have never actually met her, but was recommended by someone who has been practising with her for a long time. I think she is a really lovely person, much more lovely than she herself realises.

I've attended yoga classes with Sarah for over 5 years both in London and via Zoom during Lockdown. What a godsend! Her gentle VERY funny approach combines to make often hilarious classes attending to both physical and mental well being. If you have a chance to attend one of her workshops take the opportunity . Lucky Southampton!

I took yoga classes with Sarah when I was expecting my first baby. Sarah was kind, friendly and bloody hilarious, not to mention very skilled at teaching antenatal yoga! I’d highly recommend Sarah to anyone wanting to get into yoga

Sarah Rush was my most priced discovery in 2020 when I looked for an online yoga instructor during lockdown. As a decade long Iyengar-yoga practitioner I love her style of teaching which is very personal and caring. She strikes a perfect balance between challenging her students and raising their self-awareness for whatever limits or needs show up in that moment and respecting and honoring them. Sarah is thus teaching the philosophical essence of yoga which is nonviolence - including nonviolence towards ourselves. I owe her a wealth of new insights on how yoga and specific asanas can support us in different life circumstances (birth/menopause/specific physcial challenges). It was thanks to her that I after all those years understood, truly understood the importance of breathing in each asana. She generously shares her incredibly broad knowledge about the human body and its wisdom with her students. Finally, the best of all: every yoga class is infused with poetry. Poetry that underlays and reinforces her teaching of yoga.
