Love Lemonstem yoga. I’ve taken a few different classes here, and I’m always made to feel so welcome and relaxed. I wanted to progress some moves recently and took a 1:1 with Gemma. Worth every penny. Her knowledge of yoga and fitness is brilliant, Gemma helped me with questions I had that were always left unanswered in other yoga classes. I even managed to get into a pose I always wanted to do but just couldn’t crack! I would recommend Lemonstem to all levels and abilities, so glad I found it for myself.

Lemonstem is more than just a beautiful studio, it is a safe, warm and supportive space for everyone who enters. Gemma is the most wonderful, caring instructor. There is never any pressure within the classes and you are encouraged to go at your own pace. The online classes have been an absolute godsend during lockdown and have helped not only my physical health, but also my mental health over this time. Thank you Gemma. Can't wait to come back xx

Just finished my 5 week beginners course and loved every moment of it! Gemma is a fantastic teacher who made me feel so welcome and confident from the moment I walked into the room. This is the first course I have ever stuck to in my life which says a lot about how enjoyable the experience is at lemon stem yoga it has made me a mentally stronger person and I can’t wait to continue my yoga journey! On Tuesday I spent a blissful hour at Lemonstem for an Indian head massage and not only is Gemma an amazing yoga teacher but she does great holistic treatments as well. I will definitely be going back for more treatments as they are worth every penny (and such good value!). The studio is such a relaxing space and I love how supportive Gemma is as a teacher.

I cannot rate Lemonstem Yoga or Gemma highly enough. Not only is the studio tranquil and fresh feeling, but Gemma is a really fantastic teacher and one the nicest people I now have the pleasure of knowing. Obviously she has a very advanced practice and the way she moves is amazing, but she never makes you feel intimidated, just inspired. She breaks each pose down, gives different modifications and options and offers cues at every stage. Yoga for me isn’t just exercise, although Gemma’s classes are strong and afterwards I feel like I have worked out, I like how she incorporates mindfulness and mediation into her classes too. I look forward to her classes every week and I always feel better and lighter for it and I learn something new every time! Sx

Gemma is a fantastic instructor. I always feel comfortable when I am in the studio. It's a fun and relaxing place with a great atmosphere. I'm not the best at being bendy but it doesn't matter if you cant touch your toes or put your leg behind you heard Gemma will guide you all the way. There is a range of classes to suit everyone and free parking. Couldntrate this studio any higher. Fantastic 👍🏼

Im so grateful Gemma continued her classes online, particularly needed for both mind and body during these strange times. Gemma is a wonderful teacher, even virtually her classes are still inclusive of spirituality, calming yet challenging flows but only encourages you to do what your body tells you. I absolutely love this little gem of a Yoga Studio hidden in Woolston. Gemma is an AMAZING FABULOUS welcoming Yoga Teacher. Greeted with open arms always a smile on her face. This small community is welcoming ,supportive no matter what kind of day you have had get on your mat & all your troubles melt away after class you, walk feeling so relaxed . Every single class is different I have been coming for over 18 months now & my yoga practice has expanded & I have developed confidence in poses I never thought I would achieve. Highly recommended 121 also to help perfect the poses .Get down to Lemonstem you won't be disappointed Gemma is just a beautiful soul ❤

Gemma kindly held a 1:1 session for me as I suffer from chronic pain. I love Gemma's vibrance and authenticity, she has created a beautiful, calming studio with extreme attention to detail. Ok folks! I don’t normally do reviews but have just completed the 5 week beginner’s course and had one normal hatha class at lemon stem yoga. Gemma is a great, kind and patient teacher. The sessions are really well structured for a complete Yoga novice like me. I just thought we would do some breathing and neck rolls and a few stretches, but oh it is so much more. As an unfit middle aged bloke, I find it quite strenuous and end up sweating and breathing quite hard, so it is good exercise for someone like me. Gemma structures the lessons so you do what are now obviously basic stretches to get people loose and then moves into the more, let’s say for an old geezer, challenging poses. I have to be honest, but at around 30minutesinto a session, Gemma demonstrates a lizard pose or a Pidgeon pose, I ‘m there shaking my head thinking you have to be kidding me, before giving it a go. I’m not sure I have been perfect, but there has been no derogatory laughter so far. The teaching approach is one of patience and for someone who has been described by his younger work colleagues politely as a “greybeard” (an accurate description, unfortunately), it works well. I would recommend anyone even those of you like me, who is old, out of shape and not very flexible; to give the beginners course a go. There are two things to point out – one you will ache the following day, and if you are like me probably the day after, as you will find you have used muscles you had forgotten you had. The second is it is not a quick fix, I haven’t touched my toes in over 40 years, and after six lessons I still can’t, but I am a bit further towards that goal then I was. So give the beginner's class a go, and if during the 4th lesson you are doing sun salutation B and wondering what on earth doing this for, remember you won’t be the first one to be thinking that!!! Enjoy.

Amazing...Gemma's classes are perfect, not only is she a very experienced instructor she has the unique ability to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease within their own abilities too.....the studio has a very calm and relaxed atmosphere and the classes genuinely make you feel strong, positive and revived .....as a woman sometimes you can feel under pressure within a class environment but this just isn't the case at Lemonstem….I have also attended 1:1 classes with Gemma and again these are not only amazing value, especially if you are unable to attend a group class but she also offers holistic packages to follow on, I am not ashamed to say I have tried them all and they are all out of this world!! xx
