I can not recommend Alix’s yoga classes highly enough. As a newcomer, I was made to feel very welcome and feel very at ease in her classes. Alix is truly gifted, her voice and words take me into a deep meditative state and allow for an utterly sublime embodied experience. It's very special. Thank you Alix!

I, as part of a group, have the pleasure of doing evening yoga sessions with Alix, and it is the most wonderful experience ever. Alix's yoga sessions are calming, restorative, peaceful, rejuvenating...you name it, and it is that! Alix seems to have an inner knowing of what we need! Each session is different, and I appreciate this variety and all the benefits it gives me, both physically and spiritually. Alix is very aware of us as individuals, and she is very mindful of our needs during the session. I am so very grateful to have joined Alix's yoga ...it gives me so much, and I feel so much better in myself since it came into my life! Meridian Yoga classes are totally amazing. My favourite morning of the week!
Alix creates a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere in her studio at The Centre of the Hills where she delivers 90 mins of gentle yet very powerful yoga, meditation and relaxation. With breathing and gentle movement stress and stiffness of mind and body melt away. I find the yoga practice to be comforting, strengthening, restorative, and energising with the addition of inspiring meditation.

Yoga with Alix is a beautiful experience in a beautiful setting. For 90 minutes I am slowly and rhythmically transported to a place of serenity and relaxation. But don’t be deceived, the gentle flow builds into postures that are as challenging (or as gentle) as you choose. Alix’s lessons are elegantly crafted and cater for all needs.

Alex is a wonderful dedicated teacher - her classes are calming, uplifting, stretching and joyful - I always come away feeling invigorated and relaxed.
I started Scaravelli yoga classes while on crutches following a serious pelvic injury many years ago - through yoga I learned to walk again without any aids and Alex’s classes now help me to remain supple. She is quite special!

I've only been to three classes at Meridian yoga so far, but have been to many different types of yoga class in the past. What makes this experience different is the beautiful way Alex discribes the inner landscapes of our bodies. She transports you to with such poetic eloquence, it's truly a magical experience. Her way of introducing mindfulness into the simplest movement's is impressive. It's a totally relaxing experience and still challenges your core to excersice and stretch itself. Her teaching is knowledgeable and thoughtful. Highly recommended.

Alix’s yoga classes are sublime. She has that rare ability to take each person on a journey of physical exploration according to their own body’s ability. Her classes are just beautiful. Sensitive, gentle, as challenging as you want them to be and perfectly rounded off with a delicious relaxation/meditation.

Alix's classes are a beautiful journey for the body and mind. I came to her after a physically traumatic few years, broken in body, and instantly felt nurtured.
