I've been with Sarah's classes for a year. She is an amazing teacher. she really helps you understand what the exercises are doing good for your body, and what you can do to improve your posture and fitness levels.
Sarah obviously knows her stuff well and encouraged me to challenge myself to a next level. I can feel my body is much better than a year before.

Have gone to Sarah's classes for some years now and found them beneficial. The classes are structured and fun and also gets the brain going as to which part of the body you are actually trying to use. The classes have strengthened my upper body strength as most of my life has been spent doing ballet which is not upper body strength but suppleness. The classes address that also. Cannot recommend highly enough if you want a challenge and fun!

I attended my first class last night after 39 years of extreme military fitness.
The instructions , delivery and passion and experience of Sarah was what I consider to be World leading. The session exposed me to the world of deep structural strengthening and exercises that will protect your primary skeleton engine ( spine ) for life. My view has always been if your spine is injured- you are in deep trouble and pain for years - what I was exposed to last night focussed on strengthening the deep anatomical tissues that protect the spine and core and will improve your quality of movement. I have taken part in Sarah's pilates session for several months now. She leads each session with a clear plan. She demonstrates every movement and watches us carefully to ensure we are doing the appropriate moves.
She has good coaching agility especially for those in our class with health needs so she knows many alternative movements to ensure they continue to strength their core and enjoy the exercise. I enjoy our weekly class it's good fun and I feel a lot of benefits.

I am an ex-Rugby player and long-distance runner and was suffering with constant joint pains and aches. I was also unable to stand on one leg for a long period of time (I can’t remember why this is important).
I have been attending Sarah’s' classes for almost a year now and my mobility and my comfort have both significantly increased. The classes are always engaging, and Sarah works hard to keep the programme changing so it’s not repetitive and she provides variations of each exercise meaning the class can be as challenging as you like.
I can also now stand on one leg for a long time! I just need to remember why this is a good thing..

Sarah is an excellent Pilates teacher. I first started Pilates following some issues with muscles in my neck and shoulders and the sessions, along with extra personal advice have made a huge improvement. I have been attending Sarah’s Pilates classes for several years and she has steered me through recovery from 2 hip replacements. However earlier this year I developed sudden severe back pain after bending quickly in the shower. I thought it would right itself and that at 84 years of age maybe I should accept it as part of growing older. When the pain had made me tired and depressed I sought Sarah’s help. I had a 1:1 session with her at her studio This involved a very thorough assessment and she began freeing up my muscle groups.
Now I have embarked on a 10 week course- 1 hour each week in which she works on my body and watches as I perform exercises ( which I have to do daily for homework !)The improvement has been observable and remarkable . Yesterday I walked pain free for at least 2 miles.
Sarah is very knowledgeable and tenacious in her endeavour to make her clients whole.
I have been thoroughly satisfied with my progress and would certainly recommend her .
She is lively and friendly but strict.

Sarah’s knowledge and expertise are outstanding. I have only been in her class since February after a hip replacement and a recent fall. I am in my late 70’s and my balance is improving, however, my mobility, pain and strength have improved greatly.
Without question I would recommend Sarah as a first class Pilates teacher.

Sarah is an amazing teacher in class and on a one to one, she is very knowledgeable in her field. I started with a taster class for shoulder and hip pain, I spoke with Sarah after class and I started the one to one classes, she quickly found that I had a problem with my posture which we are working on, I can already feel an improvement in my flexibility and a reduction in pain.

I'vebeen going to Sarah's classes for a couple of years, and I can't recommend Perfectingpilates highly enough. Sarah is an amazing teacher. She is very knowledgable, and a terrific communicator - she really helps you understand what the exercises are doing for your body, and what you can do to improve your posture and fitness levels. Her classes are varied, with loads of different exercises for different needs, different muscle groups, etc. Her classes are intensive, but the atmosphere is great; Sarah knows how to keep things fun.

Sarah is an excellent Pilates instructor and Personal Trainer and I can’t sing her praises enough. When I started with Sarah I could barely weight bare with significant muscle wasting. I have Ehlers Danlos, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, L2 & L3 disc are prolapsed and I have thoraic scoliosis convex, to make matters worse I have no feeling in my lower abdomen following a c section, Several ops and lots of hardwork and input from Sarah who did consultations at various stages tailoring exercise to meet my needs has meant I can now weight bare.
whilst Its not a cure for my condition, I have genuinely felt the benefits of Pilates and I can honestly say Pilates is the best thing that I have come across and Sarahs knowledge and expertise second to none.
It proves its not just for YummyMummies but those of use with long term health conditions too.
Ive found her classes to be inclusive, informative and useful.
Being disabled I have previously struggled to find such flexibility with instructors, but Sarah has always enabled me to get the most out of her classes tailoring moves in areas I would otherwise not be able to partake in, this inclusiveness really makes her a very special instructor. Ive always felt welcome and not a nuisance. Sarah is approachable, dynamic and supportive. Most importantly Ive always felt in good hands she always explains things in language I understand.
I can also now do exercise without giving up because of the pain.

I had no idea about how unfit and what dreadful posture I had until Sarah carried out a full and professional assessment. She is so knowledgeable about nutrition, weight loss, injures and many more areas, that have made a difference to my physical well being. If you’re thinking about getting the help of a personal trainer, you could not find one better than Sarah.
I know Sarah from taking her Pilates group classes and have seen how dedicated she is to helping others with alignment, posture correction and building a strong core.
At first I was apprehensive about the thought of personal training but it was the best decision I've made. I wanted to lose weight, and approaching my mid-fifties was suffering from regular hot flushes. After talking to Sarah she recommended cardio and high intensity weight training would really help my fitness, strength, weight loss and hormones!
Sarah has a wealth of knowledge, skill and expertise and helped me set exercise and nutrition goals. She pushes me far more than I would ever push myself, and has introduced me to running, something I thought I could never do. I’ve lost over a stone so far and feel a lot happier now with my health and well being.
Sarah is very encouraging and motivating. The sessions are varied and challenging but still really enjoyable. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a Personal Trainer whatever your fitness goals.

Following muscle damage after taking up running again, I had a Posture Assessment consultation with Sarah. The difference in my posture, strength and body shape is amazing. I suffered from chronic back and hip pain for over a year, getting very few answers from either Doctors or physios, despite numerous investigations and physio sessions. The end result was to be ‘pain management’ and at only 50 I wasn’t prepared to accept this.
On the advice of a friend, I booked a session with Sarah. Following detailed assessments she was able to identify my difficulties and get to the root of the problem in a way no other medical professional had been able to.
Within weeks of working one to one with Sarah my pain had lessened to a degree that I would not have thought possible.
