Had to travel back to the store as was overcharged for an item AGAIN !. Overall not a very pleasant experience. Items that are reduced should be checked that they go through at the reduced price by the till operator. A small gesture of goodwill would be a good idea for future mistakes, like a voucher off or coupon for the mistakes.

Always love a good look round here when we visit barrow. I just LOVE the picture/mirror Isles here. There is so much for the children here and a fab craft isle too. More of the Isle were talen up by food and frozen items this time which I thought was a little bit of a shame but the place is so big you don't feel like your missing getting anything else

Love going into the range. Especially at Christmas time. Love seeing all the decorations they have and all the trees set up. Didn't find what I was looking for but still it cant be helped. Staff members always happy and willing help if your stuck on where to need to be looking for scrapbooks or candles etc. Newset visit today, staff still happy and friendly, but a lot of products are priced incorrectly. One example from my trip today was birthday banners displayed at £1.00 but when scanned through the til coming up at £1.29. Not the first time this happened either.

Shop floor is on one level, good spacing. Arts and craft's range is extensive, as is the picture, mirror and frame section. They have a good display of toys, card's wrapping paper. Nice place for gifts or something attractive for the home, along with practical items, towels cushions bedding. Pets are catered for along with gardening, and they have recently housed a franchise of ICELAND produce. It is a lovely place to shop, the range is very extensive from mops and other cleaning products to out of doors wear, hot tubs. Decorating and curtains, lighting and kitchen wear. Great parking is provided. I called in today for glass pebbles, and they have a good selection to choose from. Staff were helpful and alert to customers needs, checkout was organized and efficient. Perfect for wedding table idea's, and at Christmas they bring on the magic.

Wow, it's like Dunelm on speed! Great selection of mirrors, picture frames, home decor, DIY, Christmas decorations, lights etc. Medium selection of garden items, seeds, bulbs, equipment, bird feeders, pet food and toys. Iceland inside with fresh, tinned and frozen foods. Plenty of gift ideas, cards, wrapping paper, bathroom accessories. Loads of stuff at very reasonable prices. Staff friendly and helpful.

The Range has been in Barrow for several years and , like similar stores, has a good range of items. They cater for all types and income. Art and craft supplies are in abundance, however, finding a particular item can be time consuming as there is no signage identifying the area to look in. Garden furniture and supplies can be obtained here as well as, furniture, electrical,items, decorating materials, kitchen supplies and pet necessities. Last week an Iceland department was added but as I didn't go into that area I feel I can't comment. There is ample free car parking and its very easy to find.

The Range was marked out according to government guidelines. The lady on the checkout was very warm and friendly. We were in the pet supply part of the store, my partner asked the male assistant if they sold fake grass... He just pointed and said outside.. my partner looked at him, for a bit more info.. to then the assistant changed his attitude and explained where the grass would be... We bumped into a family member whilst in the store, and we were chatting, whilst social distancing, the young male assistant, as above, came past us and mumbled something, to which the family member asked, what he said, the assistant rudely and abruptly told us not to stand around talking. We found this very rude... I asked the young lady at the checkout, who was very polite, if there were any signs up in store to say that we were not allowed to stand around talking, she said no.. and asked why. I told her about the young lad, and found it very offensive, and also that I'm a service manager at Tesco and would never speak to my customers the way he did to us. I hope this general assistant gets spoken to by his manager. We are all in the same boat, and it's a trying time for us all.. but in retail, assistants can not go around speaking to customers the way he did to us.

The range is good, it has a big selection of homeware, stationary, pet stuff etc. Comes across as a bit of a discounted jumble store but it's just another option if you cant find that item you want. There not to overpriced so you might pick up the odd bargain.

Loved what you sell, pity about the car park when Xmas shopping last November got a parking fine from the sods who run it outside your store. I know it was 20 mins over but it was a bit much. But store is worth travelling from kendal to shop there.

I arrived here yet again on Saturday ,to be met in the foyer by the Christmas display l think is the same one since you opened, Grubby carpets squared off with logs enclosing a thrown up tree with filthy Christmas stockings lying forlorn. In a few years time despite your stock when you go the same way as Homebase leaving people without a job !!! don't wunder why , First impressions, are important the grubby entrance definitely put the dampers on my visit .
