Reserved a small item online previous night for collection on my way to work. Had a seamless journey on train and team and arrived and paid at 09:42. No staff working at collection point so I had to raise this with till staff. The till staff eventually went out back to find staff and one member arrived at 09:49. I had hoped for a quick visit but this wasn't going to happen, unfortunately. 09:52 still waiting, 6 more customers waiting too. 09:57 finally served, i am not happy with this level of service and not in a rush to return.l Huge store mainly empty

If you are collecting an order you made online then there is a dedicated fast track desk on the left hand side of the rear wall, Normally the item you've ordered will be sat behind the desk ready to pick up. A Superfast service!

I needed a lot of travel and home stuff and they had it all here. Just one item took a day to arrive and was delievered to me though had to wait for a day. Best bags deals for the bag you really want for the purpose, home items or whayever everything was delievered promptly. Highly recommended for all the purchasing.

Operating a little differently during the lockdown with a click and collect service so you don't actually enter the store.... Polite staff and really well organised.... Collection took just a few seconds.... An absolute god-send for people trying to get Christmas shopping done but can't be at home for deliveries!! Well done Argos and your Birmingham team.... I use this branch quite a lot. This branch tends to get very busy but this is understandable due to its city centre location. The staff seem pleasant and helpful but I do tend to use the pay by card machines or fast track if it is available to reduce the time I have to wait.

Great place staff are always very friendly they have a great selection of goods every thing I have ordered has been there,never ever had a problem with any items brought from argos,we buy quite a lot on line and the delivery drivers are brilliant to good old Argos.Argos is a very good shop at the moment bit fed up as every time you try to get something it's always order now pick up tomorrow when I want something I should be able to order there and then and pick it up,why can you always seem to get it at other Argos stores but not the Birmingham store which is a lot bigger I don't have time to keep running around,yes we have a lot of items delivered but there big items, when it's something small you should be able to get it in store,the smaller stores would put the Birmingham one to shame.

Staff are always friendly to me. I feel like they have some generally grotty customers so I always make the effort to ask how they are or comment about how crazy town is etc. Why the 3 star rating then? Well.... It's because Argos as a company install mobile signal blockers in their stores .this causes no end of problems. I know they want you to buy from there and not research items elsewhere but c'mon, I've not looked inside an argos catalogue since 1985!! (Always read from the back because you know the good stuff was always there!) Argos are like the poor man's amazon - 80s style .why block access to the best bit of argos in your own store???? In short, without the website argos as a company would just be another index, C+A, BHS, virgin records etc . Maybe if you added a router that filters out all Web traffic but argos and opened it got the public I'd leave a more favourable review

Very big store, service is very quick. There are self-service machines if you don't want to use the counter. You can reserve and pay for items on these machines.

Staff are friendly and helpful however they need more staff! Long waiting times in queues even when using fast track service! Never go there if your in a hurry. Also needs more seating in the waiting area.

I love Argos. Ok so they don't do contactless and i'd buy more stuff if i didn't have to put in my pin but I love Argos. The catalogue, known loving as the Wish Book is great for occupying children, putting on buses when there are no newspapers, cutting out pictures for collages. (oops, don't tell them i said that). Argos gives a range of items at reasonable prices. Its easy to shop there and they deliver if necessary.
