We would like to praise ‘June’ who was working in the cafe where we were enjoying a cuppa. We noticed when a couple left their table she not only cleaned the table but also thoroughly cleaned the easy chairs. It’s very impressive to see such good cleaning and reassuring that hygienic methods are still employed. Thank you.

I love this place ,lovely things to buy & a wide variety. I've only given 3 stars purely bcus each time I've asked for 1 of their products, nobody seems to know if they have it in the warehouse or how to find it. The prices have been going up too so I'd check their rival as you may find it cheaper. Other than that, its a great place.

Great selection of pretty much everything really. Only niggle, and I've found this at other Ranges, lack of clear pricing or in some case any pricing at all. Especially in the garden centre. Been stung at the till a couple of occasions as a result.

Theres lots of great things in the range . It's good for a bit of colour co ordination because the aisles are close together and you can put items together to see if they go. I didn't have to queue long to get through the checkout .

Well the products I bought were ok and the staff were quite friendly and helpful. However, I found the entrance difficult to access as both the car park is a maze with mountainous "speed humps" and blind alleys. I was almost ready to give up before I got to the door. Having got there I found the navigation around the store was very poor and cluttered with stock spilling of the shelves and sections that were"under construction" seemed to be ill defined. Staff are sparse and it's a bit of a "christal maze" trying to get around. Although I have to say that when approached they are as helpful as they can be, but seem to me to be like square pegs in round holes. It all seemed rather ad hoc. I used the bathroom stall which had not been cleaned or seemingly checked despite what the roster said and had to clean it myself before using. However the washbasins were clean. I have to say that this seems not a staff problem but more a higher managment and training issue. Will I return? Well I see no reason not to if I can get the products I need at a competitive price which on this occasion I did. However, it is the secondary issues that can make the difference. If you can get the same products elsewhere at the same price with less stress and effort then why would you not?. Hopefully a "mover and shaker" Will take on board my observations and improve. We were very impressed with the two water butt's in the Range... They came with the stand and connection pipes complete... And the price is the cheapest in Derby only £24.99p each... Top value...

We popped in a few days ago to look for more photo frames, got what we wanted... Plus.... We have 50 on order, the order is delayed at the warehouse, but stock of the same item was inshore, so mixed feelings, store gets preference over customer, and I took delight in taking 22 more. Isabelle at the customer service desk was most helpful, but even she could not understand why I had to order 2 batches, and why the computer system would not deliver to store on the same date, but so far a good week apart, Store staff extremely helpful, computer system not worth a light. Especially when I get charged twice for delivery to store, if anything that should be free!!!

Good store to visit. It has a new Iceland section in the store so visitors can purchase even more stuff in one place. Certainly they can lower down the prices as compared to other stores of same size, and work on their till ques, but a good experience afterall.

It was nice place to shop, but bit too tight space to shop around the aisles. Shop is clean, decorative, clear prices on the items, but it's hard to find things as signs are not clear and there are stuffs all over the place. We went to buy specific after shave only The Range shop sells. After wondering whole found out, it's in the front of the shop next to customer services. Anyways, staff are great, polite, humble, helpful ... Highly recommended with the level of customer service they provide, with free car parking....

I like The Range but the shops isles are always full of boxes or displays awkward to get round not good for a wheelchair user. Prices are poorly displayed which irritates me because you have to go to the counter to ask. Both this store & the Sutton in Ashfield one are like it. Puts me off shopping there! 🤔☹

It's a decent sized store with a good selection of a to buy. This store has a cafe as well. We managed to find a pretty cool Deadpool print for our son and the price was good as well. The retail park here is also pretty big and we had something to eat at the nearby KFC. It's pretty easy to get to and there is plenty of free parking.

I find the products in store of good quality and there is a good variety of products. However every time I go in the pricing is always wrong or missing so you never know the true price until you get to the till or constantly asking colleagues how much it is. I also find the colleagues not very helpful if you are unsure on something or if you need a price for a product. If the staff and product SEL pricing was there it would definitely be 5 stars.

Good range of products in the store at competitive prices. We brought a large Mirror this morning, which did not fit in a trolley and we had to manoeuvre it around the tight aisles. At no point did any member of staff approach us to help. The staff on the customer service till were both miserable as hell. Go there for products and not a smiling face!!!

I call this the everything shop... As no matter what I need I normally find it her at a great price. There is ample free onsite parking too. The reason I gave this 3 stars is due to staff interaction on most of my visits. The Isles are usually blocked with step leaders or boxes. Staff are often seen stood about chatting to each other oblivious that you are waiting to get by. Very few bar one helpful guy working outside in the garden section seem willing to help. Overall I would say the staff here are poorly managed and demotorvated in their job. Shame as this could be so much better with the right leadership.

I love this store, as it has a lot range in its products but I do feel though, at times it a bit disorganised and I struggle to find what I am looking for. I just wish that it didn't feel so cluttered and claustrophobic as it can feel a bit overwhelming when you are trying to get around. I will always continue to shop here even with the few grumbles I have as it does offer a fantastic range of items at some reasonable prices.

I'm giving the store 4 stars because overall it's a great one stop shop with abit of everything. Gardening section, animal, camping, arts and crafts, plus home furnishings and much more. It isn't over priced and you can find some great deals. The staff are lovely and helpful and I had no problem finding all I needed. Downside are really a consequence of covid which isn't the fault of the store but it at the moment is very claustrophobic, so if you have issue getting up and close with ppl there really isn't much in the way of avoiding it in this store. However it didn't bother me and I still had a pleasant experience.

It's so easy to go the range for a few things and come out a few hours later with a trolley full! We got our artificial Christmas tree from here a few years ago and go back each year for more bits and bobs. Everything has been excellent quality for a fair price.

It was like walking into a supermarket - who on earth redesigned the store?? If your that desperate to sell goods from Iceland, then put those counters at the back of the store.What a disappointment when you walk in!! The who place looks a shambles.Please bring back the old Range.

I find this store very well stocked of seasonal goods and everything you need for the home, arts & crafts etc. I must have looked on website a few times for certain card making items but when my daughter went to get them for me all the craft aisles were abut of a mess for new stock. I think they would do better updating their stock and prices online abit more frequently. This store also has a cafe and toilets & plenty of Car parking.

Has everything you need from arts and crafts, clothes, lamps, sofas etc. It's a bit messy inside in terms of finding things, reminds me of a massive I.C discounts shop. Hard to find staff and isles are extremely tight, would not get 2 people down an isle. Overall well worth checking out, it's almost like a bandm shop. Friendly staff with good parking and in a good location for a few hours of shopping. Guaranteed to buy something due to the sheer volume of goods they sell. Well done.

Normally love this shop & have always has a good experience, however since covid they have changed & whilst they have a queue system the shop always seems very busy with too many people in, even though they have staff at the door with a counter it just seems packed all the time. It's a shame really because I used to live my trips to the range but after my last 2 / 3 visits I've been put off completely going again. They don't sanitise any of the baskets or trolleys, the queue at the till is always long & no social distancing is kept, there have been children running riots touching & coughing over everything on the shelves ( I have 5 children myself & I wouldn't dream of letting them behave like this even before covid ) every other store I've been in if this happened then the parent was spoken to by staff, yet this doesn't happen at the range !!

Love the Range however as someone walking around the shop with a baby in a pushchair the boxes waiting to be unpacked etc around the shop make navigating it quite tricky!!!! Specially while doing our utmost to social distance!!! The Isles are tiny as it is so boxes around don't help things at all!!

I only use this shop for artist supplies and find it better than Hobbycraft. Paints are ok but brushes are a ropey. Key though, is their stock of very cheap, but very presentable picture frames. I've bought a couple of dozen over the years and they're ideally sized for watercolours, albeit without the glass which can be reflective in certain conditions.

Great selection of items as always and the garden centre was very well stocked with more gravel available then I've seen most places. Staff are friendly and alert to keeping social distancing measures in place and the till staff were very helpful when I had large items to scan and couldn't easily put these in front of the screen.

Also on a previous visit I was accused of shoplifting had my bag searched and was questioned about stuff within my bag, this was while at the till paying for all my purchases, and at no point did I attempt to leave the store....!!! The man working on customer service... has appalling customer service! The last three times we have been in and unfortunately been served by this member of staff and each time... no smile, no hello, no goodbye no thank you. Just short and abrupt... and to then have him speak to customers today in the most rude manner because they had queued up at the wrong side of the customer service desk... for him to point at the sign *which isn't too clearly displayed when your walking back from the tills* and say it Clearly tells you which way to queue up, I shouldn't have to tell you!

Great shop for everytjing, the new woolworths basically. But, I felt very claustrophobic in there, its all piled up high and very narrow. Cant social distance if someone wants something on the same Isle but opposite end. Shame but I won't be going again. Plus the lady on the door wasn't stopping people from exiting when people were entering through the one door.

Good shop with lots of product choice. I shop here regularly for pet foods, cleaning products and kitchen equipment. The store also sells electrical equipment, garden furniture and plants, as well as soft furnishings. The reason this is not 5 stars is as the store is often busy and is not always staffed effectively, especially on the checkouts.

Not much to say, its a range shop. Always seems to be stuff out on the shop floor waiting to be put on the shelf and finding a staff member to help can be a challenge but the prices and variety are good.

Went here for two decorative chrome lions that were new in. The shelves are so tightly packed together that you end up squeezing past people walking the other way. And with this shop its usually a pensioner with a walker or a buggy pushing mum. So good luck. Of the 8 chrome lions available, about 5 were damaged with bits of crown missing. The prices however are decent and the furniture has not failed us yet even with daily use. Dont go here looking for top notch quality.

Heavy load trolleys being unavailable because they had been stolen was hugely unhelpful but then the staff helping with heavy goods was a massive plus point for the particular staff in this store.

Social distancing rules are being followed which is great to see currently. Their products are great value as well as having something for everyone.

The expansive arts and craft section is great. There's a nice coffee shop. There's a large selection of goods, including seasonal goods. Some aisles are a bit cramped and awkward to navigate as they vary orientation, but we did visit over the Christmas period, so some trolley difficulty could be expected.

It has all you need and a shed load more!! You know how it goes..... You arrive at the till with a full basket while juggling the items you're holding with various body parts, as you get them down safely at the checkout you announce you only came in for one of thing haha that's me and I know you relate.... Go on...admit it. Good prices and really lovely staff who are a credit to themselves as well as The Range

I visited The Range today, i was shopping specifically for a curtain hook which i couldnt find, but i purchased a bath towel which i was in need of. Upon exiting the building there were more products, large items on pallets and this was during covid so the exit was only the exit and there was a que into the shop. I picked up some storage containers and went back to pay for them as they were a good deal but i learned that i had walk back round to que again to enter into the shop to pay for the products that i could only leave with. I GOT TROLLED BY THE RANGE IN DERBY

The Range has very good value in artist watercolour pads and I find the mount section very boring not choice in colours. We did find the staff at the Range was most helpful. The ranger has a section of crafts and thanks to your very helpful staff they helped us pack and they greeted us with a lovely smile. Keep up with the good work.

The shop itself is great, very reasonably priced. Because of the size of the place it could do with more staff, if you need anybody on shop floor you can find yourself wandering around to find somebody but purchased some furniture yesterday and they the staff were helpful and carried it to the car for me. THE CAFE IS AWFUL! They serve Costa but on both occasions that we bought them from here they were lukewarm and always lots of tables that haven't been cleared. Also the woman serving always as a face on her like she's lost a tenner and found a penny and you feel like an inconvenience asking for your drinks.

I visited the range in Derby on the 31st of may looking primarily for a garden statue. To find such a large selection of both modern and classic designs to choose from was very pleasing. But not as pleasing as the service myself and the wife found from the staff on duty that day of covid restrictions and extremely hot conditions. The statue we chose was carried to the tills for us by a member of staff who on reaching the checkouts realised that there was no ticket on the item so had to return to the garde section to check for a price. On his return he informed us that as the statue we chose was the last one he would have to call a manager to get them to check it for us with a code book. The lady manager was very friendly and professional and along with the male employee sorted us out even though it was time consuming for them to do so as there was no markings on our chosen item. The Range has, what seems like an endless supply of anything you could possibly need for your house. The assistent we found was very helpful indeed (sorry, didn't note your name), it just took us 10 minutes to track him down. He was feeling the strain of the low assistant head count and said its got really bad with several people leaving recently, including more than one getting the sack. Decent range of products at decentish prices (the pizza oven we bought was £149 down from £200 but ex-display so just £50, which is probably closer to what La Hacienda products are worth) there just aren't enough staff available. Sort it out Range.

There isn't much this shop doesn't sell. Great place for gifts, a real treasure trove. It also has a café and a garden section.
