Reviews of The Range

Good location with plenty free parking.
You can find everything in store - items for kitchen, bathroom, lounge, garden, kids to play with, pets, cars, DIY & even snacks.
Price is decent, quality is good too, some cheaper / better than others, overall good.
Staff is polite. Wear masks, use hand sanitizer & wipe down after each customer.
M. B.
Great place to go for my break . Always using the charging point under the sofa to use my laptop. I always have the seasonal food and Drinks are they are for limited time. The the Lindt Bunny Muffins and Cream Eggs are so Good too.
J. W.
Very Helpful Staff With Good Knowledge Of Where Products Are ...
D. U.
The Range got wide Range of Home 🏡 Decor products 😍 ✨ 👌, marginal price range, Wallpaper, Canvas, Crystal 🔮, and many more,
Close to Abbey Lane, Leicester,
Y. P.
Great prices and nice little café area. But felt really cramped in there, the aisles are narrow, packed to the brim. Luckily we went on a quiet day, I can't even imagine it on a busy day
A. P.
Amazing deals and good quality items!
Cafe staff member was a bit preoccupied with her friends and forgot to cook half our order until we asked where the rest of it is
R. M.
Quiet complete all the things they sell. We search for iron wire and found here with all the toolkit needed. All with normal price.
E. D. B.
An immense variety of products, from home appliances to crafts and arts.
One of my to-go shops when I need some craft materials.
s. p.
Visited in Easter break 2022, we brought I nice large canvas painting for under £30, the same one is in John Lewis for £210 in fancy frame, I think that was bargain. So they still have bargains you just have to look for them.
B. L.
Some good bargains, good for art work for your home. Bought a 2metre rug for 85 quid and very happy with it, very soft and well made
b. m. s.
The range is great for home decoration, diy craft and pet food/toys, and garden.
It's not all tack and or cheaply made, the majority of stock is surprisingly really good quality.
Stocks branded paint (garden and craft) and all sorts of other DIY brand for cheaper than b+q and wickes!
I love the boho stock and how much of a selection of artificial flowers and such they have for flower arranging and amazing decoration for weddings and parties. Great at Xmas for lights. (Pictured along with faux ivy on cupboard)
H. L. (.
A great choice of home, garden, kitchen furniture, bathroom, bedroom, pets and lots more! Plenty of choice and most items at reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.
W.
Nice shop, good for photo frames and homely nick nacks, the 2 staff I spoke to were useless and unhelpful and 1 guy was actually quite rude. Bought some craft knives which were cheap and flimsy so wasted my money. They do have a good range of stationary though
T. S.
Very limited or no stock of most of the exposed items. But at least there is a big selection. Order online from them and then yeah the experience is 5 stars. Fast delivery, excelent packaging, great customer service.
S. C.
A good store for anyone on a budget wanting to do up their home , wide range of frames, clocks and other soft furnishings. Can't comment on the quality of the goods as didn't purchase but some of the things, ie large clocks, looked good but rather flimsy so really not sure on durability. Never visited before and just popped in as it was still 10 mins to opening time for the carpet shop next door . Don't think I'd visit the Range again as I did feel it was a bit tacky and chavvy, but yeah great place when on a budget.
R. J.
Was looking for a wedding planner and the lady who helped tried to send me to the front of the store. Followed her only for her to ask her colleague who told me they didn't have any in stock. Went back to where I saw Pregnancy planners and moved it. Wedding planner was underneath
J. H.
Great store always a lot to offer but the staff don’t half chat amongst themselves - they are friendly but I think there would be more productivity if they just got on with their work! They will just answer ‘no’ to a question rather than stop their conversation and help!
I. C.
This was the first time I'd visited this place. I found it quite interesting, it had crafts of all sorts. It also had a cafe with light food and a nice coffee.
a. v.
My favourite shop. If you looking some nice decorations for your house, arts and crafts, kitchen wares etc. It a very nice to start from.
A. F.
Good range of homeware (excuse the pun) :) Nice place to come for a look for things for home and garden at a reasonable price. (also has toilets)
f. s.
Very good service tanks and excellent quality staff working with excellent service
D. T.
The 3 items I went for weren't in stock even though I checked online before I went. The website needs updating quicker as the 3 items are still showing as in stock.
M. U.
Find it too cluttered and narrow isles, can hardly manouver my way round with the trolley without knocking things over! Also, it's quite messy with products in the middle of the Isles.
G. S.
It's a great place to go shopping, just for a good mooch to see what they have got, from decorating to camping, lovely
I. L.
Usually get what I need from here. Very often a better price. The Range often saves me visiting multiple other shops 👍🏻👍🏻
R. M.
This shop is great for things for crafting and home improvements, paint to wallpaper to card craft items most at reasonable price
L. W.

Don't Buy the Hose Pipe... That Must be the Worst 'Colonic Irrigation' Kit on the Market.
Try the Pick & Mix, Best Since Woolworths
S. F. P.
Great Christmas and home decor ranges here and a lovely coffee shop. The toilets leave a lot to be desired. Surely if you have a coffee shop the facilities should be fit for purpose too.
D. R.
friendly and knowledgeable staff, a good range of home wares and crafting supplies. always good for a visit and a wander around. it's a pity the craft section isn't as big as it used to be, initially, that was the big attraction for me.
N. S.
Have visited here regularly since it first opened. It's a great bargain store with a huge variety of things to buy. The seasonal items are always great to look around and you often find something a little different that you might not find elsewhere.
A. C.
Variety of products but items seem to be crammed in and lots of things everywhere?!
Café upstairs.
Wheelchair accessible and pushchair accessible
S. B.
The Range is pretty much our first stop when we're looking for things for the kids to do a little make and do with.
While the store covers a lot of different areas, such as homewares and decorating, tools and pet products, plus seasonal products, for us we're generally there for things to do with the kids. There's generally a reasonable select of little make and do kits plus there are other art supplies as well for older children and adults.
E. S.
Prices a little high, especially garden furniture even some fake plants at £30, can't really compete with similar stores.
B. C.
Surprisingly wide range of really good value products. You will buy more than you intended and pay less than you expected.
F. Y.
Abundant choices but most products are made in China, of bad quality and derived from irresponsible source of cotton materials.
J. L.
Great store with Costa coffee inside, lots of stuff at very reasonable prices
e. m.
Ooh there were so many things I wanted to buy, especially the pictures, so much choice. Very reasonable prices too. One of my favourite places to visit.
C. L.
Housewares shop selling everything you need and don’t need for the home plus other bits and bobs. Quite a big place with an upstairs and cafe plus toilets.
V. P.
All ways got what I want at a good price .
B.
Great stuff! I got some lovely things for my wedding next year, but some things are overpriced
L. T.
The range has a huge range of products.
Household products, ornaments, pictures, gardening necessities. A good range of craft bits and bobs. It's all set out well.
Prices are good overall .
T. c.
Love this place always a bargin to be had and the coffee bar is also worth a visit
N. C.
Impressive sized store, friendly staff. Everything and more all under 1 roof
L. &. M. F.
Wanted a particular garden swing for specific reasons as couldn't find it anywhere else. Upon it coming off the stock list, they called me immediately to offer the option of the display. They not only dismantled it but then took it to my car and loaded it AMAZING customer service who Always seem to go above and beyond, for every customer. Well done to the recruiter and trainer at this store and Amazing well done to the floor employees. Xx
S.
Bit of a queue to get in but it moved fairly quickly.
Inside staff were very grumpy, I asked four staff where things were and they seemed very put out, that I needed help.
But I got everything I needed and they were no queues at the checkouts. But I won't be returning if I can help it.
All customers were wearing masks.
N. H.
It's always fun to have a shop at the Range. I was looking on the upper floor for furniture ideas for my new flat and it turned out that it was completely filled with Christmas gizmos which was fairly disappointing. Good prices on stationary though.
M. S.
As the name suggests there is a very wide range of products which are available at this store. Quite a large Christmas range at the moment. Most products are at a competitive price so a lot of savings can be had. Overall good experience. The store can be a little messy at time which can be overwhelming.
t. c.
Always a great place for getting little bits and pieces you might need. We managed to get the new car spray paint, watercolour pencils, a ligh fixture, mirror, frying pan, garden flamingo, camping stove and a specific doll we were looking for all at once! It was great! I knew they were the best place to go in hopes of some of these things, so was glad to get them all!
D. P.
Great place to pick up a range of things at reasonable prices.
F. K.
Lovely place to shop as u can find everything from household to garden under one roof.
s. g.
No matter how many times I come here expecting to find products from their website I always come away disappointed
j. H.
Easy free parking and surprisingly busy for a daytime.
Most departments had a good selection of products and whilst a bigger choice of standard Pyrex dishes would have helped we got the replacement we were looking for.
I never realised we needed so much rubbish to make Christmas happen, everything from Holly sticking tape to inflatable decorations.
We also bought a roller blind which although easy to fit caused a minor panic when I discovered the plastic hanger bent outwards about 5mm and made the roller loose. Note, cut roller longer next time... LOL.
p. b.
I love to visit this shop. Probably you'll get A to Z things.
M. B.
Great shop although it does not price all their goods on the shelf.
p. p.
Prices aren't so competitive any more however in my recent experience most products are 30% increased on the last 18 months.
J. B.
Very clean lots of hand sanitise when u walk in and staff very pleasant.
S. P.
Good selection of home decorations. Also, you can find a lot of in-home cleaning products. Helpful and friendly staff. Car park in front of the store is provided.
A. S.
Good range of products, staff very helpful
A. S.
Never been to this store before and it was an eclectic mix of all sorts.
It has many different sections for instance home decor with clock section, mirrors, cushion Isle! Also I wish I'd come before as it has an art section which would have been useful for my children when they were younger.
All reasonable prices too, so all in all a good store. Thank you
s. m.
Loads of stuff for sale, the car park is always busy
s. “. b.
Good place for reasonably priced goods of all sorts.
Wide assortment of household items.
I always go there for items that I'm unlikely to get elsewhere.
Staff polite and helpful.
W. A.
Pros: Great prices, a huge range of products,
Cons: small car park
L. L.
Wide variety of goods and a very nice cafeteria area.
d. l.
What a lovely experience we had today ,visited christmas section upstairs it was magical and so much choice, didn't know where to start ,bought some lovely decorations. Visiting is a must.
K. P.
I love it here, but, I wish they'd tidy up!!
K. J.
Great shops but often don't have prices so need to ask
W. A.
Great shop to find home decor. with free parking
J. H.
Fantastic place to get anything, nice and helpful staff
C. M.
Has a huge 'range' of products as the name suggests. From houseware, bedding, gifts, crafts, toys, DIY and pet products.
Good value and it's easy to spend lots here.
Toilets are a little run down but at least they have them.
Nice cafe upstairs in the mezzanine, bit pricey but a nice place to sit over a cuppa.
Staff were very helpful when I needed to exchange an item. Make sure you keep receipts just in case.
Overall I love The Range and find it a useful place to shop.
P. K.
Good selection of goodies at reasonable prices with plenty of choices.
S. H.
Great store to find lots of household and gardening items, large and lots of range of items too.
Only downside with this store is lots of things are missing the price and takes ages to find out him much things are which is a little off putting and probably costs them sales
K. B.
The shop looks a bit of a mess like a rumble sale but staff and product's are good
J. T.
A frankly excellent store with a wide variety of stock, encompassing everything from interior decorations, to every day household items.
Due to the sheer size & volume of stock, you can easily find yourself popping in for one particular item & leave with a trolley full of purchases, with a sizable chunk of your day spent.
L. A.
Wide range of products. Ground and first floor with disabled parking and wheelchair access. Although Isles narrow so may struggle. Main complaint is finding prices of goods - along of items are not priced and therefore either have to ask at till or don't pick up.
E. F.
As always got just what I wanted to make a personalised card. The Range always my first port of call for so many things. Get a nice cake or snack in the cafe :-)
R. F.
First week of September and there was so much Halloween and Christmas stock out. Only wanted artificial flowers but felt there wasn't as much choice as in previous visits. Slightly disappointed
R. A.
Great products for reasonable prices. Recommended.
R. G.
Easy parking and I was surprised with how much they had in stock with loads of variety and great prices but remember you get what you pay for. It was reasonable busy when I visited but not to bad. The staff seemed a bit un trained and not very caring for the customers.
P. C.
Lights cushions are fireplaces mirrors stationary table decorations models outdoor garden furniture tools quilts bedding can get very busy helpful staff check online for store stock lines
r. b.
Some cheap areas to buy from like, soaps, vits, paint, garden flowers and compost
S. C.
Always a very good service with competitive prices and friendly staff
D. L.
Had coffee and toast, the lovely assistant in cafe paid for my toast as forgot my card only had change for coffee bless her.as I have diabetes needed food. She was so polite friendly she is an asset to your company unfortunately I never took her name
D. H.
Bought a vase and a couple of toys, great value with lots of choice.
A. W.
Went to the range today, for so e curtains, but didn't have the one's I needed, but didn't matter settled for different ones which went alot better for my cabin, overall was very happy. So much items there to look and browse if your thinking of changing the cour scene around the house, 10/10 for good products
K. K.
As usual always happy buying things from here and Christmas decoration is Awesome here
S. S.
Great store, very helpful staff 👍
L. “. M.
Cheaper than B&Q for most things not as big a choice though.
v. t.
Great selection of Christmas decorations and my little boy was so excited to see the elves hidden around the shop.
v.
Love this place souchnto offer and at great prices too
P. G.
Great Christmas selection and a nice cafe although ground floor stock doesn't seem to change much.
D. A.
When I was getting into painting with oil paints I searched every place I could think of and someone suggested the range, I though they only sell house stuff, omg how wrong I was, its now my go to place for all my art materials at reasonable prices and great quality, while my wife and I are there we often have a browse and find craft materials and picture frames and a lot more besides! They really do have a RANGE of products that if the whole family went everyone would find something fun or interesting for themselves there.. great place and one of my favourite shops to visit..
L. A.
Car parking available but tight. Also disabled parking available. Entrance suitable for wheel chair users. There is a second floor but not aware of any lift. Wide variety of products including homeware, stationary and pets. One criticism is lack of price tags on shelves / items
K. F.
Was not very organized. I could not find a member of staff on the shop floor to ask a question about my purchase but there was five people on customer service two members of staff chatting next to the tills in the way of the exit. Only two tills open with a giant queue leading to no social distancing in that area.
R. W.
The shop was crowded with little thought for covid-19 restrictions. The stuff on sale can be both good and bad, depending on your taste for tat; don't get me wrong they do have some good stuff but it can be expensive. Check the price of what you are buying; pet stuff is pretty expensive, for instance. They do have some good Xmas stuff.
r. r.
Great store very friendly lots of Halloween stuff and dare I say Christmas stuff too lol 😂
A. H.
Fantastic selection of required item could only find here, apart from on line.
M. B.
It has a range of stuff, like for pets, gardening, leisure & many other things. I would recommend if want to buy something.
T. K.
Good product variety at fair prices.
К. И.
Love this shop. There are so many things you can find there. If you have hobbies like sewing, card making, baking etc. you will find there lots of useful stuff. They also sale different types of home decorations, kitchen cookware for affordable prices. If you use wheelchair or stroller they have lift in store. The store itself is tidy and clean. And stuff are always friendly and helpful.
M. H.
Great range of choice for all sorts of needs. The Christmas decorations were especially great with cheap but very fancy decorations. Very affordable and has great quality. Would recommend. However sometimes the speed of fixing problems in store might be slow, usually staff great though.
P.
Nice helpfully staff, plenty of decent products.... I just wish the small minority of customers I encountered would wear their masks properly.... it's not just for the mouth or a decorative chin cover, it's to help save lives. Staff; for all our sakes, please enforce!
M. H.
Has everything you need. It was easy to find what i needed
E. K.
First place I go to to get art supplies. Reasonably priced and good selection. Among other things such as pet stuff, camping stuff they also have crafting stuff so get down there and check it out they have some lovely wedding decorations too. You can always get a cuppa in the cafe if you need to rest between each department. Have fun!
R. M.
Great place for home, garden, decorating and arts supplies. Great choices and good prices. Always worth a visit
S. S.
Lots of nice furniture and nick nacks, homeware, but overall more pricier than say Wilko's.
L. D.
I love this place, there are so much Christmas things there and great value for money
A. K.
Very friendly staff extremely helpful however i wasnt happy with some.of there prices
S. A.
Fab store, can find pretty much anything you need fantastic arts and crafts section ideal for my daughter. Only downside is spend to much.
P. L.
Excellent shopping experience. Found everything I went for, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be returning
S. O.
Just went to look around.
Plenty stuff to shop around
J. s.
This shop seems to sell everything that you may need for your home. The prices are very good and most of the goods seem to be of a good quality.
At present they have a very good Christmas section with lots of lights and decorations to choose from. The only slight issue with this place is car parking as its very busy and the car park is shared with a furniture store .
S. N.
This is one of The Range's smaller branches so don't expect them to stock everything you might have seen on their website. The layout feels cramped in this era of COVID-19. The gardening section is indoors and tiny. Nevertheless they have lots of interesting stuff, much of it at very good prices. Parking is ok until you want to go home - the exit traffic lights do you no favours
R. G.
Was very pleased with my purchase. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the store to my friends and family.
J. O.
Staff are really helpful. Very good store. Everything is laid out great and easy to find. Bought a gorgeous duvet set.
A. M.
1st time there, amazed the amount of stuff for sale and the price
S. L.
The Range was very good got all the stuff I needed
M. C.
Tbh, the range is sticking with the guidelines of covid19. But it's not like regimental it allows you to decide. Most people are social distancing.
It's a great place to go for little homey bits. I go left my husband goes right then we meet in the middle. Nice and reasonable on costs also good parking.
S. W.
Great store and loads of bargains but the Qs are ridiculously long, not enuf cashiers so my only gripe really is they seriously need more staff
D. P.
An interesting place. From the outside you would think this is a very professional shop but it is anything but on the inside. I appreciate that The Range needs to stock a wide range of household items, but the layout is not helpful or condusive to shopping. So signage would help to direct customers who maybe in a hurry and a little tidying up would also go along way too. The prices seem reasonable, when compared to other similar stores, like Home Sense. Parking was plentiful and easy to access from the main road.
c. e.
Most things are reasonably priced
N. L.
Always find something to buy
K. S.
Nice café and a good range of household goods
M. W.
Food and beer very good and friendly staff.
C. C. (.
Great products, Staff mostly fab BUT, The Range need to make a plan about putting trolleys under a shed. Went in on Tuesday and the lady who was rather abrupt at Reception handed me a roll of tissue to clean the trolley with while it was pouring rain (I was with a 22month old and I'm very pregnant). I strongly feel that is their responsibility, not customers'.
l. J.
A lot of stuff can buy. All in stop store. Hiking stuff, swimming, new house, renovation, car parts, tool box, many more … must look once for new person in town
L. R.
A great shop, good value with a wide selection of departments. The art and craft section is the best one I've found in Leicester, it's very reasonably priced with a large variety of items. The shop can get a bit cramped but the staff are very helpful and have a good knowledge of the stock and where it is in the store. I have visited during the corona pandemic and there is a well managed queuing system with staff handing out disinfected baskets at the doors, the queue was long but fairly fast moving. Also NHS staff are able to skip to the front of the queue 👍🏼
A. E.
The Range sells just about everything. This branch was all ready for Christmas, loads of decs and house wares. I bought sweets, a dog lead and a carpet runner. I looked at curtains, bedding, cushions and Christmas decs. What you can't get at the Range isn't worth talking about lol! We love the Range.
N. D.
Wide range of stock, especially arts and crafts. Not expensive, but not a cheap "everything a pound" shop either. Restrictions on the number of people allowed in so not crowded.
K. W.
Absolutely love this shop. When you buy your first house or start renting this is the most affordable shop to help you going. Have lovely homeware stuff and also have a big craft section for children and adults. Also there is on site free parking.
M. P.
This is a great place to get stationary and frames as well as food. They are exactly what the name suggests, which is they have a range of products. The shop is reasonably priced and worth a look. There are lots of home items such as mirrors and other bits and prices too. Well worth just having a browse. 😊
F. S.
Always love the homeware collection from here. Sometimes the collection can be a little tacky or cheap so got to choose the items wisely. But all in all, a good budget friendly place to get homeware!
T. B.
Typical department store with a good variety of items upstairs and down. Easy to access location with good parking facilities. In some sections, items are often left on the floor or in the wrong place but this is typical of most department stores in my experience.
Overall, a good place to browse or when looking for something specific as staff are helpful.
R. C. C.
Wide selection of good s, its a shop where you need time to spend time in so many goods, I love this shop, so many things from animal foods . Lovely things for your home ,,, you must go and see this shop for your self , you won't be disappointed..
A. T.
Excellent place to go and walk around. They sell a bit of everything for your household. They have a big department for DIY and pets plus snacks and kitchen ware. The staff are very helpful and there is a lift and escalators to get to the upper floor where there is garden furniture and games plus a large cafe with plenty of seating when you are tired of shopping. They sell hot and cold drinks plus sandwiches and hot food.
V. H.
I love this place. Everything you need for every purpose is found within this one store. It would be nicer if the building was larger as it is very crowded with all the stock and people but very well organised and I can always find what I'm looking for. The cafe upstairs is an added bonus. They often run out of items but when they don't the food is lovely and service good, although at busy periods it can often take too long to clear tables. Definitely one for frequent visits.
J. N.
Store kept clean and tidy with different items kept in a logical sequence on shop floor. Customer toilets could benefit from a refurbishment and clearer signage.
Prices are keen and worth researching prices before visit.
Car park can be a bit of a nightmare at peak times but store has longer trading hours and also there is an overflow car park nearby.
S. F. v. M.
A Great Shop with Great Prices where you can get anything from Oil Paints for Artwork, to Curtains or Dog Food and Furniture, spread over two Floors as well as having a nice coffee shop inside which sells some great drinks and snacks!! Also the Staff are Extremely Helpful and always go out of their way to help you find something as well as just being Very Friendly which makes it a pleasure shopping here!!
M.
Really useful store. Plenty of free parking available although spaces are small. Trolleys take a pound coin but the old ones only. I like this place as it has a little cafe and toilets. Well stocked with all sorts of items for the home. Staff friendly and helpful. Well priced.
B. P. L.
It alright for the prices (not saying there expensive) the few bits I did buy were fair priced in my own opinion.
L. L.
Didn't have to queue went there at approx 9.30 offered hand sanitiser and wipe for trolley. It's a bit tight for social distancing as the aisles are quite narrow there aren't any arrows for u to follow as in some stores but are signs saying only 2people down any aisle, people seemed to be sticking to this. They are quite well stocked in the circumstances. There are distancing marks in the queueing area for tills, staff helpful n smiley.
L. C. (.
Fantastic selection of products especially homeware has in store cafe which could do with better selection. Staff friendly and queues never very long.
K. G.
Big shop. Lots to look at cheap stock. Lots of craft areas and diffrent home things to buy. Wide variety of products and decorations, wall papers paints. Something for every room and every shade most the time. Can be busy and lifts are some times broken.staff very freindly and helpful and quick.
D. C.
Went to this shop this afternoon and whilst I have no problem with the shopping experience, I was dismayed when I got to the till. They have a good queuing system with distancing in place but I was followed to the till and when I asked for the person to move back, I was ignored. I felt that she was really in my face and she wasn't wearing a mask either. The girl on the till stood there and said nothing.
The staff need to enforce the rules!!
I was disgusted and wont be going back.
E. P.
Staff were helpful but none of the crafting items I was looking for were there out of stock so now I'm Internet shopping for items and finding its easier
S. M.
Excellently organized. Ensuring customers and staff are keeping the 2 meters distance, very good at cleaning trolleys and baskets after each customer . Also staff on till cleaning surface after each customer . Staff very observant and friendly . Would recommend
Y. V.
An excellent place for all your home decor, arts & crafts and toys.
B. G.
I find this shop really lovely. It has a wide range haha, of things, the prices seem to be ok and the quality too so far from experience and my wife and I have started buying more things from there. Other people's opinions and preferences might differ but my wife and I think it's worth it. To be more specific we bought memory foam pillows fro £20 and we find them really good & comfy, thermoses, cutlery&jars, camping stuff, they have regatta products within, bbq things. Give it a go and see for yourself.
S. I.
Lots of ranges, ok prices... Ok quality if you use common sense. Never eaten at the cafe
S. C.
Always plenty of choice at the Range. I have picked up decorating essentials but also had a browse in the art dept. Great prices an helpful staff. Great Christmas products in store now.
T. S. (.
Lots of choice of the product I wanted, aisle are somewhat narrow in areas so something to consider when shopping as it can be overwhelming if you are using mobility aids like myself when people need to pass you... the staff are happy to help look for products and seem to have a good stock knowledge base of their department or know who to ask if they don't! Lots of products under one roof from pets to DIY and camping and homeware! Would recommend
R. B.
Quality with good service (could do with more than one till open) reasonable prices plenty of items in stock.
C. L.
Yes parking outside, a variety of things to buy there
S. B.
Omg this place is amazing, I could spend hours in here and the prices are very reasonable, thank goodness for the cafe you will need it
M. K.
More than happy to sit in the car and wait while mum does her shopping. Could be there for hours and buying things that I didn't think we would even need.
S. W.
This store is full of so many household products. There is a mixture of basic and unusual items. Prices are really good if hou are on a budget and staff are very helpful. There is a nice cafe too .
V. B.
Customer service can sometimes be a bit questionable but you can pretty much find anything you could possibly want for the home here at reasonable prices. Equally has an amazing, well stocked craft department.
N. X.
Had a lovely young guy help us out today we wanted a mirror that was the last one out of the box and was display mirror but he put it back in the box and was very polite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
D. B.
Product choice good but the colleagues just didn't want to help at all. I asked where something was and they said they don't stock anymore and just walked off. No alternative or anything
M. M.
Lots of home bargains to be had. Good choice of quality items for every room. Good variety of DIY items. Would highly recommend a visit to this place.
J. A.
Lots of range of products as the name suggests. A very strange combination of products but all for a good value. Often go in expecting just to buy one thing and coming out with things I would usually get from somewhere else just because of the price. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Store us layed out in a strange way however it does seem logical in some places.
D. E.
Positives attract so as an artist there's plenty eye candy working there with similar interests to look at, oh and a fantastic range of materials for me a mix media journalist 😁
M. K.
Great stock selection fully stocked shelves u like other shops. Have to que outside for around 20 mins each time I go but it's for our own protection so glad they are doing this.
H. K.
Customer service desk could do with being a little more friendlier. No smile, no hello, seemed as the woman serving didn't like her job. The cashier was a little better, I got a hello from her.
C. S.
This is a good store, plenty for all and a not bad cafe. Car park is not so big and not enough disabled bays, and getting to the customer toilets is like the first steps of journey to the centre of the earth, although the loos are clean with warm water and when I went, plenty of loo roll. Worth 4stars.
D. A.
It's a good store sells most things. Easy for parking.
A. A.
Large range of home, garden and food product selection. First Must visit on every occasions.
G. C.
Good shop for almost everything, sometimes its like being at a jumble sale, the products all over the place, toys taken out of the boxes by kids and just left on the floor, most of the staff are friendly and helpful, the cafe is quite expensive!!! The ladies toilets are disgusting!!! water on the floor and toilet paper just dropped in the water, staff members went and cleaned it when they were told about the state
N. C.
When you want to find a lots of staff for your house or make a present for your family or friends, this is a great place to start.
S. F.
A nice place to shop, it's clean tidy and you cann always find a bargain.
E. D.
Always go to the Range for school supplies and crafting bits and pieces. We recently went to get a few extra bits for the house too - I'm always surprised by the quality of some of the things we can get here; we have blackout curtains which are still going strong 5 years later!
J. M.
There is easy access to the Range, an adequate car park, but it can become full very quickly. They have reasonably priced products and a good selection of arts and crafts products among other things. Well worth a visit.
M. d. F.
First time in Leicester's The Range & my journey was worth it - everything I'd found online & liked was in stock.
I'd been wanting a new crockery set for some time and settled on a classy, bright white design called Ripple. Well chuffed.
Also purchased a soft new throw for a very reasonable price and a lampshade for a young friend which I intend to decorate with feathers & sparkles. Found the sparkles here too. And feathers, had I needed them!
Lots of disabled & regular parking, though with roadworks I drove twice around the block before I could see the way in..!
Staff were polite & helpful. The only reason for not giving the store 5 stars is that compared to other Range stores, shelving & goods were in SUCH A MESS!
J. S.
Ridiculous that Apple pay has a £45 max spend limit on it. It's finger print enabled so can't be used fraudulently. And then you can't reuse it again forbthe rest of my shop. You lost out on more sales.
M. R.
This is the biggest range I've ever seen!!! It's huge
J. G.
Bargains galore! We kitted out a couple of rooms with canvases on a temporary basis for around £8 per item. Each of them measuring approx 50cm x75cm. The variety of products they have is very expansive. We'll worth stopping by if you need a lot of bits and bobs for your house, or even some gifts.
I. B.
I like the Range! My lovely shop. There is a lot for Xmas already 🎄🎄🎄
C. H.
Decent selection of items
J. D.
Good selection of home and household items. Well arranged and easy to find. However very few staff on floor to ask other then the till areas. Own parking area . Have to watch prices as some items dearer then say Home Bargins.
A. E.
Brilliant shop for household items
G. L.
Not very helpful staff at the Leicester store
R. H.
Has plenty of anything you made need, carries an excellent variety of household items.
L. M.
Basically the same as Wilko to me.
K. R.
Bit of a que when I drove into the car park before being allowed in by on the doors once in all pleasant & nicely laid out but everything I liked was out of stock so maybe a return visit when it's less busy.
D. N.
Whether you need a washing up bowl, photo frames, pet food, outdoor furniture, arts and craft stuff or car washer fluid you will find it at a reasonable price at the range. Great staff that will help you find what your after, great store!
N. W.
Brilliant shop can't fault it Cheap and good quality items Well worth a visit 😁 👍
T. W.
Quality food and excellent service 👍
j. s.
Love the range ,it's like a little alladins cave can get everything from a new sparkly mirror through to a pack of sawdust for your hamster , from craft bits for your wedding invites to loo brush holders and nails for your mirror , not much you cant get here
D. J. (. L.
Love the range really. Lots of bits and love looking around. The lady that served me at the till was very direct. Like if she had said thank you I wouldn't have believed her. However I did get "I'll see ya lata" 🤔
P. K.
Local store more affordable prices
M. S.
Good sized shop. Didn't know that the parking was time limited! Had to pay £60 for the privelege 😚. One item I had in my basket I didn't have when I got home, another wasn't on my receipt, another (that I spotted before I left the store) I'd been charged for 10 of, instead of 1!! Very disappointing visit.
V.
Great place where you can buy literally anything. Top tip don't park in the main carpark. Go to the overflow next to the hotel and you'll get in and out much quicker as the lights only let out 3 cars at a time.
E. d. C.
Affordable prices for a diversity of good quality products
J. P.
Not covid safe - shop & cafe staff do not wear masks, only staff on tills & customer service (& they are behind perspex screens). Lady serving in cafe had visa on her head!
S. A.
Great store with great household items. A great place for shopping if you are into your DIY. Free parking too.
C. W.
Oh my god this place has everything. It's proper handy and useful. And a restaurant. Huge car park. Probably sounds daft but I managed to buy large sponge for making a bed in my camper van. Along with material cushions and cotton. It's like Ikea with home sence and John Lewis all in one.
R. W.
An Aladdin's cave if you're not too fussed about quality. Having said that, the £25 Xmas tree we just bought is excellent, better than some selling at twice the price. Yer pays yer money...
M. G.
sells some of the whole house garden car stationery. Good for those looking for simple merchandise
D. C.
A big store that has some really lovely canvasses..ornaments..some quirky..a wedding accessories aisles..homewares..soft furnishings..d.i.y...bedding. .kitchenware. .rugs..pets..confectionery..fabrics..stationary and upstairs at present is garden furniture..hot tubs..toys..dvd"s and of course a cafe that sells food and drinks...
S. L.
Has many things. Was surprised when I saw vegan sweets who my friend absolutely loved
P. S.
Love the store- you can always find what your looking for at a cheaper price. Lovely staff and very accommodating.
C. B.
Wonderful shop with very helpful staff, had a young lad upstairs help me find the exact Xmas scene that I was looking for! He also showed me the Christmas trees as I asked! When I got down stairs one of the till staff was paying little attention but I was then told sorry about that by a very nice lady from the service desk with red hair
H.
Nice variety of items here, from arts and crafts to home decor and kitchenware.
M. B.
Didn't have what I needed in stock but the staff are always really lovely and helpful
D. N.
Great store huge variety
S. G.
A good selection of products. The only problem is that all of the delivery pallets are placed everywhere on the shop floor so you can't really look properly.
J. F.
Large store that stick household items and decorations. Wide range of products covered and have a soda stream co2 filling service.
Nice and helpful staff.
As this is very popular place the carpark can be a challenge to get in!
A. A.
They have a lot of interesting goods for sale , covering, DIY, car, kitchen ware, toy, crafts, and so much more. And the service is very good, staff found to be helpful and friendly.
J. M. (.
A great place to get various D.I Y. items for the house & car
J. g.
I like the good range products , quick efficient staff on tills , home delivery excellent , recently bought 3 window blinds for under £35 in total , neighbors asked if they were made to measure _ result
A. P.
Medium size store, good selection of art and craft items, does have other household items in store, reasonable priced.
K. M.
Nice place as a wide range of items for sale.
M. N. A.
Good place to do DIY staff, the person who saved me was very friendly, good customer service, but the manager or supervisor don't think have enough good customer service skills.
Apart from that all ok.
T. V.
Having just visited The Range with a query regarding items purchased last week for which I had lost my receipt, I would just like to give my appreciation and thanks to the assistant who dealt with my problem. The assistant's name was Christine Payne. She was very helpful and professional in dealing with a tricky problem especially as I was very concerned about not having my receipt. I would like you to recognise and thank this lady for me. The Range is my favourite outlet. Especially for craft products. Mrs June Vernon.
K. F.
Everything I wanted was in store.
T. S.
Friendly service and cheep but quality goods. Their cafe is really good with a large range of sandwiches and cakes. unfortunately the loos are down a dingy corridor and not well maintained missing paper and dirty.
J. P.
Fantastic selections of products, well laid out would definitely recommend.
M. R.
This is a very good place for doing up your house or generally getting ideas to refresh any particular room. Massive crafts section towards the back of the store for your crafting supplies
C. L.
Good range of items
L. T.
Great prices and a wide range of goods
T. B.
Love all the craft stuff they have amongst other things can get some lovely household items for reasonable prices. Parking is free they do have disabled spots.
K. K.
Really helpful staff always at hand to help.
G. S.
Love The Range...count browse for hours...and they seem to be getting a lot of new stuff in...good selection of car parts accessories...gardening stuff. And always time for a coffee .No rush, no pushy sales...everything you want under one roof
A. N.
Popped in for a quick look and was impressed with the RANGE of goods, excuse the pun lol.
Purchased an iron board but had to return the next day as was missing a leg end. The exchange was very straight forward. Would have given a 5 star rating but the wasted journey lost them a star.
D. W.
Always love browsing around the home wares, they have a great selection of soft furnishings and crockery, always something different, and the prices are the lowest around plus a coffee shop to sit a while. Only downside is the car park gets a bit hectic with the rubbish entrance, I always park around the corner
W. P.
The ranger is a place that has everything. Love it. Very well priced, staff are helpful .
The cafe is a good size and the food is very nice to. Good access for wheel chairs and push chairs.
G. W.
Been to the Rugby shop a few times , but first visit here not so big but found the items we wanted , cafe up stairs first class food and drink .
N. H.
For me it's not as good as a few years ago ... Nothing seems to look like I need to buy it .. probably just gone too many times and it's the same old stuff .... Seems a bit grubby lately ..
A. S.
First place to go when looking for something special as a present for a friend/relative or for the home ....from photo frames to gardening, from decorative wall hangings to mirrors...everything for the home and more.
Very reasonable prices too without foregoing quality.
A. A.
Parking available, but not vast. Some nice items, but upstairs section feels like it's wasted. They could do more with that space, i.e furniture and other items. Reasonably priced.
s. s.
Shop itself is great has loads great products, on a down side on going in to the range we noticed a sign for a nice looki g burger in the cafe, so after going around the shop sat down to enjoy one, when it came to the table the burger was Cold in the middle, it was not cooked properly not a good experience
P. B.
A bit cramped. Given the distancing required. Item looking for out of stock, so ordered online with free delivery.
J. D.
Standard The Range store with a great variety of goods. Cafe a little slow, only one member of staff on a busy lunchtime, but the one girl servicing was lovely, calm and polite to customerss
P. B.
Love the range. They always have what's needed and usually have good stock. Many bargains to be had here
S. B.
Got what I needed no hassle & very friendly customer service & staff
T. R.
This place is like Aladins cave, everything you could want for the home, pets, & DIY, at a very reasonable price, look arround, you will be pleasingly surprised with the quality & price.
R. M.
Nice place to go & have a good wonder about they do alot of different bits with lots of ideas
A. P.
Huge range of products including a wide range of craft products and projects. Good for mirrors, soft furnishings and many other items. Café upstairs. Escalators and lifts. Customer service toilets on ground floor.
K. B.
very efficient and wel stocked store around. Wel trained staff mending the store...Good keep it up.
D. C. (. C.
Good range of products and accessories for hot tubs as well as many other craft and household items
s. w.
Great place loads of variety however it is very cramped vary narrow rows of shelves the staff are quiet slow at the tills but friendly all the same so its not so bad
R. R.
Really excited about my visit but when I went in I wasn't really feeling myself ....you know when you just can't get into the shopping spirit nothing to do with the shop which was all very good I returned after taking a large amount of Horse tranquilizer and had a wonderful time with the Unicorns and wizards
s. l.
Store not very clean the area where the toilets situated awful stench spreading from them so obviously not checked or cleaned not the best shopping experience .
P. M.
Not very good. I sorted through several waste bins and couldn’t find a lid to fit. Then decided on one priced at £19. Only to discover at the checkout it was £39. Needs a bit more organising. And staff who care.
R. B.
Great place for shopping but don't take yr kids as loads of things to get smashed at toddler height, yes u hear smashing sounds all the time lol and the staff are so busy clearing up they don't have time to help u. Just saying
S. H.
The cafe. Can not believe the roasting a member of staff has just had from her i assume manager in front of all the customers thats awful just because she had no hat on. Right or wrong if you have to have a word with staff do it in private ! ! !
R. E.
Bought few blackout curtains and some bedding, lovely prices, very nice products
G. L.
The store is fine, I’m sure. My problem is that my wife likes to spend years of salary every time she visits. I’ve had to ask kindly for her to stop going so frequently since otherwise we’d be bankrupt.
I have a term which I am pretty certain I coined a number of years ago whilst on holiday in Majorca, a “tattery”. A tattery is a shop that sells tat and other tat related items. I think the range is a tattery.
My wife recently bought a table cloth here, interesting side note is that The Range sells table cloths by the metre.
I don’t know if it helps to know but my mum also shops at the range.
C. T.
Many items misdinh from shelves abd a Mid july delivery date fir pstio furniture. Jokr
R. A.
I always come here for the kids school projects, much cheaper than hobbycraft. A good range of unique lamps as well. Easy and free parking space in front.
J. F.
The shop in general is very good excellent on items best ever shop good value for money
K. K.
Amazing things however not priced well. Coke said £1 charged £1.20. Lamp shade thought was £6.99 was £13.99. Ended up spending about £30 more than I thought I had
T. N.
If you're creative or learning to be creative it's the place to go to and find all your essentials. Staff will help you locate stuff and the prices are very reasonable.
B. S.
Good products. Service is pretty quick and staff are friendly and helpful. Shame about the staff in restaurant- rude, abrupt, arrogant from the staff member that served us. Don't think I'll use the restaurant anytime soon.
A. B.
Hard to get around not much room they have tried to cram to much in no good for pushchairs or wheelchairs and found this shop expensive
H. M.
I've been visiting the range for some time now and its ok for popping in to get items I've forgotten about if i been somewhere else, I'm not one who goes out shopping its not one my favourite pastime like everywhere else this place serving its purpose.
L. O.
The Range have helpful staff. A great range of products that cover the home as a whole, crafts, entertainment for the children. Plus a Café. My mum and I love going to find treasures.
M. P.
Prices are reasonable on most items. Would recommend this place, its not far from city centre and has free car parking. It looks like we will be shopping from here more often.
T. M.
Great store with so many different lines, we ordered a spa and was given Great advice from a member of staff
A. H.
The Range is awesome. So many items at good prices. There are so many craft items as well. Parking is good. Definitely one of my favourite shops.
B. A.

D. Q.
Only bought some automotive blade fuses. Good advice and friendly service at a very good price. Will go again in the near future.
C. R.
Good selection of goods and homeware
w. a.
Great place good for parking to
M. P.
Usually really very good but dissapointment on my recent visit. Store appears to be very messy, staff too busy stocking selves to assist you. I appreciate it is coming up to Christmas but some order must be maintained
D.
Tend to go to the Loughborough store, much better laid out than the Leicester store, sorry Leicester. Plenty of room to look at things.
Staff helpful at Leicester, bar one checkout girl who hadn't got a clue when I asked for a large bag to disguise something. She was too busy seeing what the other checkout staff were doing.
Thankfully another member of staff came to my rescue.
It's okay, a bit hectic and feels claustrophobic.
A. M.
A massive array or everything anyone could need, from homes and crafts to DIY. Christmas decorations to pet food.
Some quality products and reasonable prices.
P. s.
A great store to visit ,lots of things for the home, and for gifts ,all reasonably priced, but the best thing about it is the staff, all so very helpful, has a nice atmosphere when you enter.
Quite near the city centre, has a nice cafe upstairs.
T. D.
Good customer service. Lots if interesting and different things to buy at inexpensive prices. Great place to look around
V. H.
Huge selection of items, completely understand why it's called the range 😂 I really wasn't expecting to find what we were looking for (a festival trolley) but we did AND it was in sale 😁
B. W.
Nice, big, bright and airy. Clean. Went for a specific item and it was in stock. One star deducted as a staff member couldn't tell me where the item was and just waved me in a direction that covered half the shop.
J. M. 1.
Would be a lot better if you could park there for longer, there is a cafe there but we had to leave before we had finished shopping or face a heafty parking fine finished our shopping at another store
S. A.
Nice and tidy some staff is helpful didn't get what I want little bit expensive but good stuff for home decoration if you looking stuff for home decor just visit once before you buy any where else
S. B.
All round good shop. Always get what I went for and the store as a whole is tidy and well stocked. I really like the good range of crafting bits and different paper and stamps etc.

The store are clearly using social distancing measures but far too many customers not taking any notice, if you're wearing a mask wear it properly over your mouth & nose!
H. S.
Very helpful and friendly staff. There is a wide range of merchandise at reasonable prices.
A. S.
I want to buy one tool store was closed but they were serving some customers on till. I request manager on door and she let me in to get tool.
N. M.

S. S.
You pop in here just to get a couple of things, by the time you have wandered around the displays of lovely Christmas bits and bobs, kitchen bits, crafty items and much more, your trolley is full! Love this place.
J. S.
Lovely shop not too busy. Can buy a bit of everythingx
A. 7.
Another version of Wilkinsons is what I say? This is a really nice shop and you can pick up some good quality bits and bobs for your house! Definate recommendation, especially if you want to avoid the going to town on a Saturday.
K. K.
Range is a good shop. Only if they could keep cushion covers of all colors, that would be great.
P. B.
Nice store. helpful staff. good range
J. P.
Always gonna find a decent bargain whenever you visit the range. Only let down in this store is it always takes a long time to get served at the till even if its not busy.
S. O. (.
Best place for shopping art materials.
They have good qualities and a number of varieties.
J. C.
If you want cheap (lower quality) bits and bobs, this is the place. The stuff is cheap, as long as you remember it's cheap for a reason then you'll be fine. If you need something medium to high quality, go elsewhere but be prepared to pay more
A. G.
Great prices and reasonable range of goods...we always end up buying more than intended! Paint has a limited range but is cheaper than B&Q
L. T.
Do like a good range like this one. Good Xmas display
L. H.
Called in for compost and top soil, none outside so the guy that served us went out the back toget some , and helped us with it to the car. Fantastic service and help 👍😃
R. P.
A little disorganised, asked an employee for assistance locating something in store and I was directed to the general area, not taken to the product like other stores.
C. B.
Such a variety of things in this store, good craft area , lots of gifts too just setting up the Christmas area which is worth a visit !
S. C.

This is a store where you can find literally anything. Cute door holders, they have got it. Swimming Pools, they have got it. They have even got Bedroom Furniture.
D. H.
Good place for art, crafts and ornaments. Plus you can get a decent coffee in the cafe.
M. B.
A little disappointed they did not have the thing I went in for and the staff told me they probably had some out back on a pallet but no way was they going to look for me. I ended up travelling to another store

Lovely store. Reasonable priced items. Free parking. Only downside is that the isles are a bit narrow, thus making navigation a bit tricky.

Good shop with a good selection of household items/tools and pet supplies. Some of the items seem cheap, but this is good if you're shopping on a budget👍🏻.

Sometimes you will found some good things with good price. Although this time I didn't. However, this is a nice place to shop.

Great place to shop in Leicester. Poor staff smoking habits always on show. Tabs thrown all down the side of the building.
