I've used these guys a few times and they are always very professional. This time, I called them on a Monday about a washing machine issue and they couldn't come until Friday, but I made the appointment. In between, I found someone who could come quicker, and they did and sorted the problem, but I forgot to cancel the Bowman fitter. After he turned up, and was sent away, I called them, with my card details for the abortive visit. Today, 3 days later, they have called to say they have decided not to take the payment, as they appreciated my honesty and it wasn't that far a trip. That is customer service. I'll always use them when I can and recommend others do too.

Fantastic service. My 12 year old Neff microwave stopped working... went completely dead. I was about to get a new one, but thought I'd better see if it could be repaired. It is integrated, but simple to remove. Dropped it in and withing 3 days was fixed. Apparently some sensor had worn out, and for less than £30 it was sorted. Thank you KB&Son

Perfect from start to finish. We had a problem with our washing machine. Engineer came during the time we were given. He was very polite and friendly. We were told that we need a new part for our washing machine. Couple of days later I have received a text that the spare part has arrived. I have called them and arranged for their engineer to come back today during morning time. He came at my requested time and fitted the part in 10 minutes. I can't thank them enough. Best service, very friendly and very efficient.

Called Ken Bowman & Son at 09h00 for an estimate of cost for repairing our Liebherr fridge/freezer. Called back at 09h30 to book an appointment for tomorrow afternoon (their earliest). They called me at 11h00 to advise they had a cancellation this afternoon, which I accepted. Their engineer arrived at 13h00 and had finished by 13h30. Very reasonable costs, all within the original estimate, and very promptly carried out. I would recommend this company to anyone who needed their fridge/freezer repaired.

We had a broken dishwasher (everything was dead). We were given a slot the day after we called, and the repairman came right at the start of the slot. He was friendly and polite. He did extensive testing (which took quite a long time), and by process of elimination identified that the control computer was broken. He advised that it would be better value to buy a new dishwasher than to replace the part. And then gave us a discount on the (already reasonable) call out charge. I'm not sure that you can ask for more than that. Quick, friendly, honest,. stress-free and no hard sell. I'll happily use them again if something else goes wrong. Based on our experience, we're very happy to recommend.

Have used this company twice. Once for a broken dishwasher - no charge as they were unable to fix it, despite spending an hour plus looking at it. Just had them round again today to look at our washing machine. From call out to being fixed in under 2 hours - impressive!

They had to come twice to fix a broken freezer (first time to identify issue) then second time to fit part. Very helpful and bill was delayed by them to make sure it was working as they werent 100% sure. Absolute bargain at under £60 including £10 part for 2 visits. Highly recommended

I cannot praise Bowmans enough. This is the first review I have written EVER!! My Miele coffee machine died, I contacted Miele, it took half an hour to get to speak to anyone and then I had to wait one week for an engineer. He turned up and charged me 75 pound just to take a look and advise me that it would cost a further 800 pound to fix it. I had to get a second opinion. Bowmans were recommended to me. They answered the phone after two rings. They turned up two days later, on time and took the unit away, advising that if they stayed on site to look at it, I would be charged an hourly rate and that would be too expensive. It was returned a week later, fixed and costing only 150 pounds. A fabulous family run business, genuine, low cost repairs of all kitchen appliances.

Absolutely great. Sometimes you may have to wait a few days for them to get to you, as they are so busy but that is understandable as they are fair, honest, efficient and very fairly priced. A real local gem.

Fixed and tested my EV (Electric Vehicle) Type 1/Type 2 charging cable. Very reasonable £25.80, whereas a new cable would have cost me around £150. So good to find a local shop that can do sensible repairs on electrical equipment.
