Reviews of Liberty London
A. S.
Love the quirkiness of this place when it comes to home and decorations or accessories!!
For fantastic lighting, to unich furniture pieces, to detail in hand made merchandise and details behind each product!
I would love one day to just go in and put aside everything I would like to buy no matter of the price tag!
Until then I'll have to just enjoy the visits and occasional buys!
C. T.
We went into Liberty's on a recent trip to London. I'd been desperately wanting to visit after seeing it on the TV. Sadly for me most things were beyond my price range, but I still enjoyed looking at everything, and at no point was I made to feel I was out of my comfort zone and shouldn't be there. We had the most delicious tea and cake in Arthur's, situated within the store, and the staff there were extremely friendly and efficient. Yes, it was slightly more expensive than your average coffee shop, but it was well worth it. They had some really delicious sounding things on their menu, so well worth a visit.

You must go when you're in London. Liberty has the best curated selections of cosmetics, fragrances, handbags, scarfs, home decor and of course their famous Liberty of London fabrics. With it's beautiful Tudor Revival exterior; the interior was constructed from the timbers of two decommissioned Royal Navy ships. The wooden staircases and ornate railings alone are worthy of a visit. Remember to visit their florist entrance especially during holidays.

Amazing department store very unique.
Love the Tudor style wonderful carved timbers throughout the store built in the 1870s.
Exclusive designer brands on all floors but also just a great browsing experience.
Must see place when in London.
K. S.
Beautiful old building packed full of excellent homeware and high quality fashion.
Definitely recommend visiting the Christmas shop on the top floor!
The outside of the store is currently being restored and hidden by scaffolding.
New TV series on the store coming soon.
B. M.
A beautiful iconic building in the heart of London.Several floors filled with the finest in designer clothing, footwear, perfumes and all manner of delights.A unique store and one of a kind.Great staff and service.A must visit if you are in London.Particularly at christmas when the store is so beautifully decorated.
C. S.
I love department stores around the holidays, feels nostalgic and they tend to play up the holiday spirit. I always feel festive in these plays. But none of them beat the iconic Liberty. The interior, the holiday decor, the lush Christmas shop, the classic fabric department, even if you just walk in to look around - a quick November/December stop at Liberty will definitely spark holiday spirit.
T. J.
Liberty exudes coolness, good vibes, warmth. If Selfridge is intimidating with its grandiosity, then Liberty is the fun, more approachable younger sibling. Shopping is such an entertaining discovery process: the textures, the blend of colors, and the avant gardiste fashion, surrounded by soothing wood makes for a very enjoyable experience.
S. K.
Department store with a long tradition. A must for anyone visiting London, you'll find extraordinary things here. The fabrics are unique and of good quality. This time you can get hold of one of the great advent calendars. The café, however, is quite disappointing, as it has an uncomfortable atmosphere and outdated interior. Offer in the cafe sparse and nothing special, had expected more, somehow does not fit the rest of the style of the department store. Rather below average and not recommended.
E. N.
Beautiful historic store, shame its currently covered in scaffolding but nice to see they've gone to the effort of printing an image on the sheets covering it!! Amazing building inside, lots of timber and carvings. Lighting didn't do much for me but the designer-ware was stunning, if slightly out of my price range 😉
L. S.
I absolutely love Liberty London - what a gorgeous building to shop in. So many gorgeous items to browse & friendly staff! I particularly loved these plates by Fornasetti!! I bought some gorgeous books for my niece for her birthday by “Little People, Big Dreams” £9.99 each - so many unique brands here 🥰
L. I.
Fun to look around at holiday decorations. The building itself is really impressive. Expensive shop - little food area with chocolates and jams make for nice gifts
S.
If you are looking for a unique or exclusive gift for you or someone this is the place to come. The shopping experience is unique and timeless, with a real focus on quality and the finer things in life. Beautifully decorated with many timber embellishments.
C. R.
A must visit in London. A historically fascinating building. The vintage clothing section is very interesting!
E. L.
Beautiful iconic building with unique selection for homeware. A must visit when you’re in London
A. R.
Always fun to browse. Staff are mostly friendly but I did feel a little judged by the staff on the ground floor on my way upstairs. I was also ignored in the food shop even though I was the only person and clearly looking. I was dressed very plainly in a denim skirt/tights/jumper covered under a black coat and scarf but still I felt really self conscious. It was a really uncomfortable throwback to how I felt when I was a teenager and that’s really not what you want when you’re just trying to shop!
D. I.
Helpful staff beautiful clothes. Give me lots of ideas. Haberdashery legendary.
Christmas shop a must visit whilst in London even in September.
P. W.
This is just the epitome of class! Beautiful building, beautiful stock and a really authentic feel, not at all pretentious. Well worth a good few hours of your time to soak up the atmosphere and find some amazing stuff.
J. F.
I loved this shopping experience. My only complaint is that the music they have playing all over the store detracts from the lovely ambiance and visual feast of lovely items to purchase. It was too loud and in my opinion did not reflect the sophisticated experience of shopping there.
E. C.
Glad to find Japanese cosmetic brand Suqqu here. The department store was definitely on the higher end as reflected on the attitudes of the shop staff.
R. J.
Liberty is great but of course very expensive. It's fun to wander around even if you don't buy anything. Good place to go for a special gift
S. M.
Iconic place!
You must visit it.
It is a bit strange, and small, but taking in consideration it is one of the oldest buildings in London it is normal to be like that.
I wouldn't consider buying here every day, because some prices are just very high, but why not for some special occasions!👏❤️
M. B.
I was taken in here and have to confess as a Philistine of the highest high brow shopping order I was completely ignorant and oblivious.
I’ve never been to Harrods and I’ve no desire to go, but it looked to me like I’d been invited round for a buffet at Harrods house on Christmas evening and their quirky cousin was there prancing about, being all flamboyant and chipper in Sharpy contrast to the older family members stiff upper lip.
It’s basically the Quentin Crisp of posh shopping. I thoroughly enjoyed the theatre of it all, walking around and taking it in but I cannot, in good conscience give anywhere more than 3* when I have observed with my own eyes an Ice bucket that’s basically a padded waste paper bin (ok it was a champagne bucket, but come on) costing over £2000.00
N. C.
I am not sure if this building is 100% original but it is very beautiful and the products on offer are very high end. The staff were so helpful and I was very impressed.
j. b.
What a fantastic experience, we went mostly to look at the fabric but the whole selection is excellent. Higher end shopping experience but worth attending for the building alone which is Beautiful.
J. D.
Amazing building. It's a old building with a very famous high end traditional department store in it. It sells clothes, perfumes, cosmetics and all sorts of things.
It's well worth a visit but it's not a budget conscious shop!!!
T. C.
This is the shop to find things you'll not find anywhere else...aswell as soak in the beauty and history of this special store.....there is nothing else like this , certainly in London. A must visit!!
N. B.
We were on a weekend trip to London and it popped into my head. I saw a couple of separate documentaries about it over the last few years. I loved the mix of fabrics, textiles and high-end names, though many not widely available in the high street, which was nice; it gave a feeling of individuality. It was clean, quiet in ambience, well-staffed, clutter-free and the variety was good. We went to the cafe and had a lovely meal. Well worth a visit if a Laura Ashley vibe is your kind of thing.
S. V.
Just visit the Christmas store and it was awesome 🤩 everything is shining and eye catching 👌🏼 I recommend visiting this special section to everyone even if you are not planning to shop in this place.
S. L.
Great building, especially the architecture. The shop and designer are great but way above any normal budget.
S. S.
Love, love, love this place. What a gem to find in the middle of busy London. Original, with bags of character including the staff. Entering this shop is like going back in time with a modern twist. One of our favourite places to visit in London.
J. J.
My favourite department store in the world. There is nowhere with the charm of Liberty. It's product is luxurious. They stock a wide range of things that appeal to many especially those with taste.
A. S.
Liberty is a store which hasn't lost it unique style in an attempt to emulate itself into just another department store. It still sources and stocks unique items. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the whole store has a lovely atmosphere.
j. g.
I love this shop and have been going here on and off for 50 years. I used to wear quite a few liberty skirts when I worked in Picadilly. We were a little bit disappointed by the attention we got from one of the over zealous shop assistants who, we were sure, thought my daughter was a possible shoplifter (could have been something to do with the primary bag she was carrying!). He came over and moved the item she was looking at, rather obviously. Well it won't stop me coming to this wonderful, historic shop!
S. K.
Unique interior which makes this place special compared to any other department stores. Looking antique and cozy!
C. M.
Myself and sister visited on the 22nd chap IAN was so helpful on entry to liberty bought chocolate coin beautifuly wrapped up then the Christmas shop bought purple bauble with 2021 In gold lovely wrapped up then had a delicious cake and pot of tea to end the day out in the cafe.
R. l.
Today I I went to my favourite Department store
Beautiful artwork
M. R.
Lovely shopping experience, great service from the staff. Staff are very friendly and keen to help. Lots of unique, quality items. Always plenty of variety too. Highly recommended.
S.
Beautiful store — usually great sales.
I personally love the perfume and skincare area on ground floor. So much choice and super helpful and friendly staff
M. O. G.
Amazing store. It's truly worth a visit. Staff is always so helpful.
P. G.
Every September I take my fiancees Nan to Liberty's so that she can add to her Christmas Decorations. It never disappoints. This year we all went together and it was a wonderful experience. You can't beat the sound of sleigh bells when outside it's 18c
P. L.
Wonderful shop and experience and always pop in when we pass.
J. R.
Amazing building and a one-of-a-kind store. But staff not very helpful.
J. R.
Wow !! The history and architecture of Liberty is stunning. Such a beautiful building full of equally beautiful items. The fabric floor is a must for all sewing fans or anyone who loves and appreciates amazing quality fabrics. 10/10
J. B.
Beautiful building. Excellent choices in all departments.
A. W.
Quality shopping centre with helpful people. Very classy place in Soho.
I. D.
It is an okay place. The architecture, interior design, and detailing are certainly worth the visit. As far as a shopping experience goes - nothing really to rave about. The layout of the shop can be a bit clearer. You cannot really see the whole floor, which I fully understand that it is due to the historic nature of the building, whereas with modern shopping centres you can easily see all sections of the store due to the open-plan.
G. S.
Very antique and beautiful store from 19th Century, with high level fashion and high level prices. Is spacious and clean, well maintained.
It has cushions for husbands to wait, which I love it.
U. N.
Beautiful shop to visit especially the Christmas department
k. p.
Truly awesome, most beautiful building. The staff are so lovely too. I got a silk scarf, to treat myself. Love, love, love Liberty of London.
Z. S.
All time favourite shop selling high end products but also more quirky designs. Visited the cafe on floor 2, had a lovely scone and coffees. Loved the extensive Christmas shop and a wander around their haberdashery is always the ultimate treat. Gorgeous building too, full of history
R. C.
Lovely building, we only go for a wander and to guess prices before a show but it just to be a place to visit. A proper classy store.
M. M.
Lovely store, great staff member served me and my husband with a sale shirt, missing one star due to the home floor being half empty, don't know if they are awaiting new stock, but sure they could of filled with something, even the lifts were lovely
K. D.
Amazing historic department store now reopen (December 2020) given London’s Tier 2 lockdown status. A one way system is in place which you can tell particularly with the staircases but the store is as charming as ever and half of the fourth floor has been taken over by the Christmas shop! And while the hours say noon for Sunday the doors open at 11:30am.
S. H.
Fantastic. The shoppe to go to in London if you want to see amazing Christmas decorations!
G. S.
Very historic looking building.
I was helped by a nice lady in Creed called Claire. Was super helpful
I purchased Maxmara winter coat from a gentlemen on the department who was very helpful.
I really didn't like the toilet as they were dirty and in the jewellery department the sales team were not interested
M. D.
This quirky old fashioned outlet manages to feel like it belongs to a bygone mock Tudor era whilst stocking a diverse, new and interesting range of items to purchase. Not cheap, but always worth a visit, if for no other reason than to hear the creaking floorboards as you browse about the place me thinks.
M. K.
One of the most iconic stores for shopping in London. This is not the usual pile high sell cheap kind of store. The designs available are very high quality and made with unique craftsmanship
I love the experience of shopping in this store
Quintessential collections are available in fashion, accessories, jewellery, handbags, home department
My most favourite is the fabric department with vast choice of luxurious fabrics and unique liberty prints
D. S.
Very good place with proper British style. Unique brands for clothing but unfortunately not all work for me. Great place for tourists.
M.
One of the best department stores in London. Only just the building itself deserves a visit as it's a listed building all made out of the wood of two ships. Fantastic displays and great products. Christmas shop is a must go if visiting over the festive period. Love it, 5 stars.
T. R.
A great place to shop for something different. The staff are so helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Must mention “Jess” in the perfume department. She is a-credit to the store and an example of all of the above. If in the area this is a must visit store
L. O.
Popped in for some Astier incense on the 3rd floor and to soak up London’s oldest department store… there are no words for this place… it’s more than magical
f. f.
Still one of the kind in London town after all theseyears, fabulous display along side with stunning artworks, super inspiring 😘
N. G.
This place is an institution and with its rich history and and iconic architecture and decor, it is an attraction in itself, even if you're not planning to buy anything:) there is a lovely range of Christmas decorations, though it may get packed at certain times, like weekends and evenings.
r. s.
Loving the cushions.
They are not afraid to laugh at themselves.
M. M.
Great store, really helpful staff, amazing attention to detail throughout the store with the 3 most important factors within retail, product, placement, and people, can't say enough great things bought a short from a very happy, helpful and polite member of staff on menswear with a great fashion sense👍
R. F.
There are very few shops that count as an experience in themselves, but this is certainly one. It's worth the visit. If you do buy anything - anything at all - you won't free surprised that it'll be very expensive indeed.
J. M.
Great experience for the arts and culture movement
T. B.
I ordered liberty tana lawn fabrics and the service is amazing ....always wrapped and packed beautifully and is dispatched very quickly . I can't wait to travel again to London and will definitely call in at my favourite store !!!
P. N.
Perfect quintessential English store. Full of niche luxury items. Weekend is a tourist paradise, go weekdays to avoid. Shop from top to bottom for the unique experience.
B. S.
A cute department store with wide ranging products
U. B.
A visit here is always an interesting experience. Not quite so pleasant these days with no evidence of social distancing. Nevertheless, this store has a wide range of upmarket (& not quite so upmarket!) goods, at upmarket prices. The fabric/haberdashery department is a joy to behold as is the interior of the building itself - worth a visit simply for that! Just don’t go near the ‘restaurant’ and your visit is sure to be a pleasant one.
J. D.
Fantastic shop, beautiful items for sale - always. 100% recommended.
H.
Liberty of London is a MUST see when you are in London! The building itself transports you to another Era. The beauty of the building alone is spectacular. And then you walk inside to see the stunning and artistic sets that they have throughout the store. Just beautiful! Don’t forget to go upstairs to take a look at their iconic textiles! You won’t be disappointed!
B. D.
Very well-organised and nice variety of items to buy. Most of them are designer and hence pricey. There's nice cafe inside too. Really enjoyed my visit.
M. A.
Truly unique.
We visited Liberty's purely by accident on our way to another store. And I'm so glad we went in!
We were greeted by all staff members welcomingly ans we were also given the time to browse and peruse the stunning offering. I thoroughly recommend if you're looking for niche brands in luxury, VISIT LIBERTY'S.
D. S.
Still without doubt one of the best department stores in London. Not the biggest nor the flashiest but reassuringly full of quirky and more individual items.
A. T.
My wife buys a Liberties Christmas bauble every year and now that we have moved to the north east the tradition was in jeopardy. Fortunately we were able to make it down and the experience was just as she remembered it. There was a good selection of baubles at a good price. We did not leave disappointed.
L. V.
I bought some good stuff such as biscuits and tea in the tin as the gift for friends as we always can use those tin boxes when we use up all the food inside. Great selection of perfume and fabrics especially silk scarves
a. R.
Favorite destination all seasons, special thanks for lady ( MAGI )at the fabric section, so professional and amazing
Y. W.
The beautiful Tudor style build such a iconic sign in London! The service in the place is wonderful to make every customer feel like family.
The merchandises they offers not like any other department store, but unique and very British!
The Liberty prints are so beautiful, it even have pillows and pyjamas now!
M. B.
Had a fabulous time! We were inspired and shopping like crazy in lovely friendly comfortable beautifully decorated liberty. I shall be returning!! Staff are all cheerful xx
B. B.
Quite a pretentious collection of clothing from expensive brands when something that would last longer and look just as good could be found around the corner on Oxford street. If you are one for labels and paying through the teeth this store is just for you!
P. !.
I very much enjoyed this store it is not only a store it is an idea giver for creatives, fashionistas and peeps with cash to spare.
Tthere are mutliple floors and areas and it needs to be set aside for a visit alone. It is that good.
M. P.
Incredible shop. Must be one of the top of the world! Definitely a must for visiting. Cannot visit London without paying a visit to Liberty's. Have a wonderful Christmas room on floor four every year. Stunning shop. All mock Tudor with beautiful balcony's overlooking all the floors below. Gorgeous children's wear room. Not massive but has all the latest Liberty's children's clothing. Lovely for gifts. Can stop in for tea and cakes but would need to book.
M. W.
Original Fashion, looks like Japanese kind of style and unique pieces from high brands. The largest collection of christmas tree decorations i've ever seen in one shop.
Z. D.
Now my favourite shop, even if it is to mostly ogle at the items. Fabulous fabrics and haberdashery
L. M.
A little gem, well worth a visit, when coming to London.
Genuinely the nicest shop I have been in long time.
Think old department store meets modern world/life.
Well layed out and not to busy. The jewellery section is massive and has beautiful things, the homeware floor has really individual things that are really interesting. On the arts and crafts section they actually sell fabrics by the metre and knitting supplies.
Also if you are looking for individual clothing, this is the place.
As become one my stops when visiting London from now on!
S. W.
An institution.....the building itself is spectacular in itself. You could just wonder around all day long and not get bored!!!
T. W.
Always wanted to visit and finally got there. What an experience. Staff friendly and helpful and a long dream realised to actually buy some material. Great place to visit.
I. W.
Iconic building, contents are are little too twee for my liking, also prices tend to reflect the clientele that they would like to attract. That said, I have bought from there before now, but I imagine their main client base are tourists and people in a different tax bracket to me
م. ب. س. آ. م.
Anyone interested in fabrics, colourful collections, and all under an open roof in a classical building must come here.
The shop has many things to offer, and we barely scratched the surface.
Beauty, stationery, fabrics, some wool wearable and many others.
Very well trained staff, attending and polite and very helpful.
Liberty garments are very well known and sought after back home, and I was disappointed to discover that the main store (this one) had better collection and better offers in Summer.
Shepherd's Bush shops may have had cozy feel a long time ago, but there is to go back to them after seeing what this shop has to offer.
T. S.
Great building where we can find great stuffs that we might not find in any other store. Staffs are very nice. The architecture of the building is great; so clasic. Go up to the top level of the building then see downstairs; it’s so beautiful. So weather you intend to buy a thing or not, Liberty is nice place we can explore. I love this store, must visit place in London.
P. D.
Love the building and store, at on the hour the some toys puppets on the right side that moves and thats cool. Most of times we just walk in without buy nothings, just chill admire.
C. M.
The ultimate London department store. Great selection of menswear, fabrics and haberdashery. Definitely worth visiting during sales. Early mornings best as gets very busy with tourists later in the day.
D. S.
Like walking into an Aladdin's cave full of nice shiny things.
Lots of things to see on each floor, and very nice, polite friendly staff who are always there to give a helping hand. Lots of places to eat and drink throughout the store, whether it be for a quick coffee break, or lunch/dinner to finish off your day...
s. i.
Just to show my support for the preservation of such a old and beautiful building
I went shopping here
Tudor-revival building filled with high-end fashion and luxury homeware, with its own fabric line.
Highly rated and recommend this place

So beautiful, seriously worth a visit. It was VERY busy at the start of December though, but once you can get to the upper levels it’s way quieter. I do find Liberty to be very overpriced, many of their products are made in China and not fair trade, which I don’t love. They’re very beautiful though.
D. A.
Very classic store they have everything you can imagine clothes perfume fabric leather etc
I like the place it’s made me feel I’m in old London store building very unique and classic
I like the flower shop next the entrance 🥰
M. H.
Went to liberty's in London With my best friends Wow what A beautiful shop We like going around the shop The history of the place is just fantastic You can actually feel the history of the place And The staff at the shop of very very good of helping And explaining The good stands selling And what are they And what they's selling The atmosphere is fantastic A can't wait to go back with my friends again And happy Christmas to everyone
D. S.
Very nice street. Awesome view
S. D.
Perfect step out of the mayhem of Oxford Street. A wonderful bazaar of all sorts of goodies for the home, quality clothing and a beauty section selling an assortment of companies wares. A must trip is the Christmas section. Go!
S. S.
Gorgeous store, all sorts of luxury brands and designer wear. My fav is the chocolate and perfume section on the G floor.
H. A.
This is a MUST GO when visiting London at christmastime.Huge building in central London. Lots of stairs but there is an elevator! If I remember correct it was a 4-floor shoppingcenter! Fun! Nice jewelry, clothes, interior design, vintage, thousands of christmas ornaments and lot's more! You can find that very special thing here! The staff where great, especially on the vintage section with old beautiful furnitures! Thank you for taking time with me😀
m.
Have always wanted to visit the world famous Liberty department store over the years and came for the first time this weekend. Firstly the mock Tudor facade and interiors looks amazing. However I do find that the interior layout of the stalls look cluttered when compared similar high end stores such as Harrods and Selfridges, though not as bad as Fortnum & Mason. I'd shop here if I wanted something really special, but not for everyday items as it's just too expensive for what you're getting. Even then I'd only come if heavily discounted. I just don't like to waste that kind of money.
J. B.
A great place to shop for your must have designer outfits.2 or more floors of designer clothing nicely priced. Well worth a visit.
I. A. V.
I was a bit deceived with my last visit to Liberty; the liberty clothing collection was much less rich than in my previous visits. It was even worse with its stationery offer, they had tops 5 prints in only two kinds of notebooks.. which is not at all what it used to be. Of course the staff is as nice as always, the place is as beautiful as always, and the liberty motives are just.. amazing.
R. M.
The interior architecture of the building is quite interesting and they had a Christmas market on the fourth floor that was gorgeous. Even though I didn't end up purchasing anything, I enjoyed the experience immensely.
s. e.
Lovely old building and some interesting staff to chat with. Burn your credit card before you go - you'll thank me!
J. G.
Such amazing interiors and displays. Staff really friendly and helpful
V.
Had an amazing experience with Liberties recently. The staff were very helpful and we found exactly what we were looking for. Thanks again!
H. I.
Beautiful old building and fabulous shop. A must just to see even if you can’t afford anything. Very expensive but a great experience. The photos are outside Liberty London. The most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. A delight for your senses of sight and smell!
J. B.
Quality products but way overpriced. Store seems very outdated. Not sure it can survive in its present format. A fading giant :-(
D. F.
Beautiful historical building with some beautiful things. I wish they did more homewares and furniture though. The Christmas shop never fails to disappoint.
A. G.
Nice space for a meeting in their upstairs cafe but super high prices, £5 for a cup of tea!
M. Ç.
If you are into old-fashioned outlay then you will definitely enjoy this place..
Liberty us pretty much British! Thats what's distinguish this place from everywhere else..
Quite expensive..
S. B.
I just wish it wasn't so cramped on the ground-floor, it stresses me each time. Other than that the staff really pleasant to talk to. Interesting products. Though I coming accross a few at the ment at every dearest store in town aka those cabbage styled ceramic bowls.. random... toys, Iove toys but I find the selection is not really unique eventhough I am a big fan of the retro packaging of some well known toy producers. I would like to see a few more interesting items, more upmarket.. Steiff? Similar feelings in the food hall, not really a hall - I thought I was in a gift shop... same same brands there.... I hoped to find some German gingerbread, which is usually traded in the UK as a specialty, especially Elisen Lebkuchen.
E. S.
Nice building I think looks like the old arts and crafts building's great if you like that style on building's
V. R.
Love this place. So unique
M. W.
This place is a combination of Harry Potter, Elizabethan England and Dickens. Its like a magic shopping kingdom for adults. The building is worth seeing just for its architecture, the different floors display a host of beautiful items for the home and so much more. Look down from the top to see all the different layers like a theatre from medieval England. A rear treasure.
C. M.
My favourite department store in London. Especially for skincare, fragrance and stationery! The prints!!! I could spend hours in here wandering through this beautiful building. Great location too right around the corner from Carnaby Street!
G. W.
No queues to pay, even small decorations carefully wrapped.
G. H.
A charming labyrinth of things you'd definitely buy if you won the lottery. The top floor, with its array of exotic goods is my favourite place in the best store in London
C. A. W.
Not a great experience. Wanted a photo frame i had seen online at Libertys. Sale assistant said they didn't have any and that was that. Very allusive. She didn't provide any further help or how to order online etc. So i ordered online next day instead.
A. M.
Such a wonderful place to shop for. Pleasant shopping day well spend
R. B.
Probably one of the oldest and most beautiful department stores in the world
J. B.
A wonderful place to visit, with exquisitely curated goods and kind, knowledgeable staff.
L.
I just LOVE Liberty, such a wonderfully creative store. With nooks and crannies it is an absolutely beautiful old wooden building still creaks as you walk the stairs.
L. K.
I love walking around Liberty, they have such a great selection of homewares and fabrics, always something a bit unique. The building itself is just beautiful inside as well
S.
As always, timelessly beautiful...
G. A.
Ohh so many many home interior things I would like from this shop. Wonderful to feel the history in the building specially during christmas time. Lovelly little christmas decorations.
Try the old wooden lift ❤️
S. Z.
Lovely department store. The building itself is the traditional style wooden structure building, when you look up and look down from the top, it’s interesting to see the structure. There are so many high end brands here and the service is quite decent.
A. S.
Top designers shopping mall in top location one of the best in London
F. A.
Fantastic old shop. Luxury goods in stunning old building.
Double the fun before Christmas.
Feels like stepping back in time...
R. D.
Always good in Liberties. A fine selection of goods on offer, not found in many other shops, certainly outside London City centre. You need deep pockets though.
M. K.
Nice place. Went to see there Christmas displays and was disappointed. Didn't find anything that we liked. Still worth a visit
C. H.
Beautiful as always but seemed even more expensive than I remember. We still enjoyed looking around the store though and appreciating the beautiful building.
J. P.
My good lady loves this store, if she's happy I'm happy
R. T.
This is amazing building. Gorgeous!
L. C. S.
So much to browse through! A full day is needed so you don't miss any unusual or one of a kind pieces. Take a lunch break on site and continue shopping!
J. W.
Beautiful and unique shop where there is something for everyone .
L. C.
Great selection of in-house fabrics, amongst other produces. The Christmas shop is also a joy to visit. The friendliness of staff varies.
P. R.
Beautiful building and very historic. It like going back a few hundred years.
B. K.
Beautiful shop, wonderfully decorated. Particularly enjoyed the Christmas section. Very expensive though.
V. K.
Yeah, unique store, but oh so pricey!!! Quite dark in places. No rail on part of wooden staircase!!! For me it's OK for a browse, that's all.
j. b.
Simply the best. If you're a tourist or native and haven't been; your life is lacking.
s.
Fabulous choice of things to buy. Good quality but some items were very expensive.
Loved the range of fabrics and staff were extremely polite and welcoming.
K. A.
Luxury department store housed in a prominent Tudor revival building. Great selection and very helpful staff. An oasis from the hustle and bustle of Carnaby Street.
K. G.
Gorgeous traditional styled department store with excellent choice of goods indeed.
L. B.
Amazing experience and the Christmas shop is great. Although a little overcrowded. Went to the cafe for lunch food was very tasty
N. R. H.
Fantastic building! I have been there a few time now, and every time I get impressed by the level of detail that has gone into the work on decoration of the building. The actual shops within the building is not within my field of interest, so I cannot say much about them, but the building alone is absolutely worth the visit.
A. B.
Absolutely packed...a bit of a shock in a global pandemic. Such thoughtful and artistic displays...beautiful building...I love the carpet room...I want to live there.
T. Q.
Magnificent building. Nice layout. Plenty of choice for mum when it comes to Jewellery collection. Spoiled for choice here.
A. R.
One of best places in London to buy generous gifts like simple jewellry, well crafted handbags and fine cottons. Also great for cosmetics and perfumes.
S. S.
Interesting place. I like it. Somthing unusual.
S. K.
They have some amazing decor over Christmas. Although their products range is on a higher scale, they have a very unique set of brands and products.
C. M.
It was absolutely jammed I felt like I was in ant farm going up the creaky wooden staircase with my fellow leafcutters! Shoutout to the Queen! Always buy my hinoki here.
S. D.
Liberty London is a spectacular store unlike any other department store in London. Their buyer is a genius who has woven together a mix of threads that are unique to Liberty with some exclusive designer partnerships that make Liberty stand out among all of the high end stores. They have an extensive selection of fabrics from around the world so you can design your own threads. Liberty also has a world class interior selection to outfit the most chic of homes. Shopping for the well-heeled can tend to be so homogenous as the trends tend to blend together, bags look the same and colors change only with the seasons. But at Liberty they celebrate vibrancy and it’s a delight.
T. P.
Forget Harrods this place is amazing, full of history and friendly approachable staff. Amazing building with unusual products. It's a high end store so don't expect any bargains but if you want to step back in time in a beautiful building with excellent customer service and a friendly family environment this is the place. Had a drink in the cafe and my makeup done on the Cover FX stand, both places made me feel like a celebrity I would definitely recommend this place to escape the day to day normalities of life. Can't wait to go back again when I'm in London.
A. N.
I was hoping it would look more magical inside but it just looked like every other department store. The Christmas shop was nice but not photo worthy.
P. C.
Great department store. As you walk in its like walking back in time to a Shakespearean London. The staff are so courteous and helpful.
D. R.
Great store with unique products. Lovely building with ornate old carved wood work.
S.
This building was designed by Edwin T. Hall and his son Edwin S. Hall in the 1920s during a time of Tudor revival.
The shop was arranged around three atriums. Designed to feel like a home, each atrium was surrounded by smaller rooms, complete with fireplaces and furnishings.
Arthur Liberty had a furniture workshop in Archway, London run by Lawrence Turner. The workshop produced Liberty Arts and Crafts furniture and the intricately carved panels and pillars found throughout the store.
In 1922, the builders Messrs Higgs & Hill were given a lump sum of £198,000 to construct it, which they did from the timbers of two ancient 'three-decker' battle ships. Records show more than 24,000 cubic feet of ships timbers were used including their decks now being the shop flooring: The HMS Impregnable - built from 3040 100-year-old oaks from the New Forest - and the HMS Hindustan, which measured the length and height of the Liberty building.
Miniature glass paintings found amongst the wood-panelling were taken from the captain's quarters.
The building is now a heritage listed London icon.
D.
Liberty is probably the best example of the Tudor revival arts and crafts architecture. Yes it is a department store; but a charming and beautiful one with all the wooden floors and lifts; also if you can afford to buy here (quite expensive) you will receive excellent customer service.
In my opinion, a tourist should include Liberty as part of the itinerary; even if it is just to enjoy the architecture.
r. l.
Beautiful building and nice place for beauty product if you are lookimg for some in the city center.
A. D.
Fantastic staff of the highest order, just love this store because it has class & style!
C. B.
My favourite shop to go to. Expensive, but the Liberty pen products have amazing patterns and beautiful items. Would definitely recommend a visit, even if it's just too see the store.
K. G.
Fantastic old building. Lovely Christmas shop. Lovely staff who are very helpful and friendly. Lovely different things in shop.
B. d. L.
Great Tudor architecture, the inside is filled with luxury shops which I could not afford. However see the outside, make some pictures of this typical English piece of craft and enjoy being a tourist! Some pictures of a woman standing and posing in front of these buildings are included in the pictures.
L. A.
Gorgeous building x
N.
The building is beautiful. The clientele comes across as stuffy and pretentious. It’s hard to tell who is staff as they all where their street clothes.
J. B.
Gorgeous store. Very similar to Harrods. I prefer this store to other department stores of similar caliber and the prices are much more across the board, meaning that its more accessible.
L. W.
A traditional British department store. The open floors make every view breathtaking as you shop each floor. Liberty is know for their fabric design. If you are a quilter or like to sew or decorate, visit the fabric floor!
l. f.
Love Liberty's and always have done. Such a beautiful building. Whenever I visit it always brings back Christmassy, childhood memories...
C. B.
A fabulous place to visit. Expensive, so not such a good place to shop unless you are looking for something very special.
J. R.
At the top end of Carnaby, this is one of the more interesting department stores in the Oxford Street / Regent Street area. The "mini British food hall" has some interesting selections if you are searching for edible gifts / souvenirs.
Pro Tip: Don't ignore the window displays!
S.
Amazing, even the architecture is a joy to look at. With an excellent selection of shops Liberty London is a must do 😁
J. K.
Always an amazing shop to visit. Hugely expensive so you need deep pockets but a real experience.
M. L.
Always worth a visit for inspiration even if you don't buy anything. Got to love the style and ambience
N. L.
Loads of lovely Stuff a lot of which you'll find nowhere else. Eye wateringly expensive but it is just about the last great London department store so...
T. D.
Beautiful old building!! Used to be a church! Love the vintage clothing section and in house plant for home. There are a room full of pretty carpet
S. S.
Beautiful department store offering everything! I bought a few Christmas treasures and hand creams. And a cologne for my husband.
J. L.
A beautiful building its situated in, a wonder just to walk around and through. Niche brands and exclusives that pull you in, boutique vibes which is more intimate than its competitors. Very touristy can get too crowded in such small spaces. Great place for interior pieces, nicely curated. One of my favourites in London in terms of department stores.
K. S.
This is my kind of department store. It's got character, history and beautiful displays. I have a soft spot for their homewares department and especially their prints.
The makeup counters are always a must stop and the chocolate selections are yummy 🍫
t. f.
Beautiful. The Christmas section is one place you MUST visit(4th floor) and the building itself is worth walking in.
V. W. K. o. t. W.
This is the most impressive department store! With its Tudor Revival architecture and the exclusiveness of its product range, it definitely stands out! It is well worth a visit, even if it is just for your afternoon tea in the cozy Arthur restaurant!
j. b.
Lovely building and so iconic
L. W.
Fantastic department store. Customer service how it used to be. Amazing Christmas shop on the 4th floor. Well worth a visit. Lots of Christmas inspiration.
i. a.
Credit to Liberty London for their great service/packaging as always but I'm more unhappy about the actual product. I bought Creed Aventus
(batch code 21R01) from their website last week and the fragrance performs really bad. This is my second bottle of Aventus from Liberty, first one just finished and was bought back in 2018. I'm now waiting on a response from an email sent to customer service a week ago to see if they'll offer an exchange/refund.
G. C.
Mad to be walking around and shopping in a mock Tudor building with all its beamed ceilings and ancient oak staircases just off regent street. Lovely eclectic selection finery and fabric. Managed to find 80% of Christmas gifts in under 2 hours.
L. M.
If you want fabrics and stuff this is the place to go. It's all on the 3rd floor.
The clothing shop is ok. I must admit that the lower level (men's) is a bit dark so it's difficult to see the clothing
E. S.
Beautiful store, feels like a time warp shopping in such an old building.
G. W.
Beautiful store and great place to find and see brands not often seen on the London high street. The store is laid out well, but is small, so when busy can feel overwhelming. The perfume section is my favourite place to browse and the team there are always attentive and helpful.
K. V.
It kills me to give this wonderful shop only 3 stars. But I couldn't find fabric sheers. Any. All that fabric...but no sheers. Got some amazing ones in McCulloch and Willis...tut tut tut...c'mon Liberties!
C. G.
Iconic store, fabulous building and well worth a browse.
C. K.
Very interesting store, and I must say for a very specific clientele. Still worth the visit.
k. j.
lovely quaint deptartment store in the heart of the city. Visiter for a specific item & found it-no thanks to the guyon the door who didn't know. Will visit again.
a. m.
The best department store in London. All the others just pale in comparison, but this is definitely the place for furnishings and haberdashery that aren't just the same as you'll get in a thousand other places, all piled into a gorgeous lively old building that creaks as you walk around it.
A. S.
Classy place, obviously very pricey, brilliant place to visit and look at things.
And if you can afford their items, good for you 🙂
J. C.
Beautiful shop, but staff is not attentive enough.
K. C. C.
Amazing place to shop such a beautiful building with unique products inside.
The staff were very helpful
I will definitely go back.
M. V.
I love this super shop especially in the Christmas Eve fore the unreal atmosphere and the wonderful goods!
R. O.
The building itself is the most remarkable thing about Liberty & Co. A very old structure with nice details and a beautiful interior. There are some good smaller shops inside, but most products are just too pricey for their actual worth. Still, a nice place to see and spend some time at when visiting London!
A. Y.
The place where luxurious fashion beats... there are many designer pieces and brands with high prices, however you should see inside even for touristic reason.
J. M.
I am a big fan of Wilhelm Perfumeries... Liberty is the only place that currently stocks this line in London...but it's an excuse to go to this beautiful department store.
S. B.
Some nice baubles on the top floor. Would have been useful if there was a one-way system in place.
J. N.
Expensive, but then again it is one of London's landmarks. There is a cafe there but the service can be a bit "hit and miss" although the cakes are nice
G. K.
Excellent department store! I really like the 3rd floor with all the bath and home products. Would like to see more sales during the sales period.
M. W.
Very expensive high-end fashion, accessories, and home furnishings. This store is iconic as it is historic. 4 floors with elevator access
M. G.
Great historic department store. Good to have a browse, but at the top end if you want to buy. Immaculate throughout.
L. M.
I've not been there on years but my friend wanted to look for nice stationary. Sadly although the quality is still great the stationary department is a lot smaller. Other than that it's still an interesting store to wander around and the outside is still a great photo op with its Tudor beams
A. S.
I love this place. I always go there when I'm in London mostlt for the fabrics really. The staff is really friendly too.
B. B.
This is an incredible store to visit if only for the experience of seeing how little this store has changed over the years. See the iconic liberty print fabric on the shelves of liberty itself. The store has all its old charm, in the bustling centre of London.
g. s.
Great store, but fragmented inside though.
If you like a challenging hunt, this is the store.
H. F.
Really lovely place to visit such an unusual shop
J. K.
Love the store, always something new and very beautifully curated. Not that large so I try not to visit too often. Cocktails and cake are a bonus, although pricey, it's a little bit heavenly.
P. M.
Absolutely beautiful store. If anything just go to check out the decor and layout and see why brands are being displayed as I found the items to be a little over priced.
M. R.
I love the fragrance selection at Liberty.
P.
Best place to shop in London. The most beautiful things in town. I just love the brands they sell, especially shoes and bags. The upper floors pretty nice with pijamas and fabrics from the firm. Also very nice things for the home, love the salt and peppers of animals!!
I. D.
An amazing g store with so.much character and ambience. I never tire of visiting.
A. A.
Wow absolutely stunning the architecture, and every small detail, just love it
C. C.
What a beautiful place. Certainly a shop to visit if in London. I would go back more often if closer
Y. G.
There are few places that match the timeless classic of a shopping experience that Liberty offers. High end shopping in an intimate setting that takes you back into the golden old era. Iconic. Make sure you have a look!
F. O.
Ideal for gifts and peculiar home items. Browsing items is not always easy as corridors are too tight and you are going to clash with other customers. Think about a mini-harrods with a far cozier feeling
T. B.
Very classy shop and interesting to look around. Customer service superb.
I. v. B.
Lots of beautiful things to look at ,would like to have a limitless credit card to buy it all
J. B.
The building itself is beautiful and proper old style London feel. I am not sure how many people actually go here to buy anything due to all of the high priced items - but it is a great visit/walk around.
S. V.
As lovely as you imagine it to be! Amazing you can always find every brand’s Liberty line and, apart from the amazing old building, the displays of the store are lovely as well. Can’t avoid awing in the central every single time I come in. The sweets and chocolates area is my fav - also great place to get some delish gifts that breathe London and sweetness for your loved ones <3
Z. p.
Love it here always go when in London.. its a wonderful building and lots to buy ...
A. N.
Hi Everyone,
Me and my friend had a jewellery shopping. We bought beautiful earrings and we both are super satisfied. The staff were really kind and professional. We will definitely go back to continue the shopping. Interior design is very nice in the building. Also, you can buy perfumes what is only available here.
I would highly recommend for everyone. Keep up the great work and well done 👏
P. A.
Liberty is amazing and always worth going to window shop! A great mix of high quality (and quirky) old fashioned and modern areas! It is always a great experience to go there!
T. S.
Lovely shop , so many different departments, and the Christmas 🎄 theme was incredible,
c. W.
Nice place if you have lots of money,or to see how the rich and famous live 😀
T. C. M.
Huge store with a wide variety of items to buy. Store layout a bit confusing but overall pleasant experience.
J. M.
Just went to the Christmas shop today. Obviously very crowded but great selection of pretty & wacky decorations.
m. c.
A very interesting building with lots of quality products and a good cafe
L. D.
Went specifically to visit the fabric section - such a pretty selection. Also browsed around the home goods area as well
d. l.
Nice store lots of different items on sale here .well worth a visit
T. E.
Beautiful building with a good selection of high quality merchandise. Very helpful staff.
J. B.
Love this store. Normal get an ornament for the tree. This year nothing
j. o.
Nice to shop on, lots of places to eat, I had a good time
M. G.
Got 4 stars cause its an awesome building. To be fair i didn't really see what they were selling as i honestly wasnt interested
R. D.
love it, delightful to be there 😀 beautiful amazing decorations 😍 ❤
S. M.
Beatiful place but incredibly busy!! Festive decorations all around. Lovely scents and lavish furnishings.
S. B.
This is a must see store very old but got lots of good stuff , aways give it a look if your in the westend of london
J. M.
A beautiful shop in a gorgeous historic building. I love it here, quite an experience.
T. F. D.
Just went to smell some fragrances i review them on Youtube. Great experience so many niche scents i was able to sniff. And they just leave you alone to get on. Not pushy like that big one on Oxford street. I shall visit again in a few weeks.
e. k.
as a visitor from new york, this place was a material and sensorial paradise, especially during the holidays with the christmas selections. for the plebeian, can’t really buy anything and there seem to rarely be sales, but it’s an exquisite museum of beautiful things. haven’t been to a department store like this. it’s like disney world. macy’s or even high end malls in the states ain’t got nothin on this.
L. B.
Liberty is always a must stop when I goto London. People working there are friendly and helpful. However, if you want to even get a chance to see the christmas shop go at opening, or early in the season. We couldn't get in because there were so many people. But beautiful christmas displays.
A. K.
Best place on the planet, only downside you have to be tall to wear the clothes I'm too short but still loved it
E. F.
Can't say anything other than a lovely place to be. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the store is beautiful to wonder round. Love it!
G. M.
Some of the sparkle has gone from this trad London store. Xmas windows are quite ordinary this year
d. p.
Love this store at Christmas, beautiful displays with very helpful staff.
S. P.
Perfume department has an excellent range of both niche and mainstream brands.
J. D.
Very nice store, lots of quality goods to buy.
M. D.
My home away from home. I'm here a few times a week. Staff are nice, products are unique and plentiful. The building makes it all worth it. If you have time, the cafe does great food and a strong coffee. Plus you get to collect points!
M. P. G.
This shop is a little bit expensive but you can find truly unique home furnishings (christmas tree decorations, curtains, ceramics)
K. J.
Delightful experience visiting their Christmas Shop. Lovely friendly staff.
H. W.
Just a beautiful place with wonderful and quirky furniture and furnishings
J. C.
Always a joy, and lovely lunch in the cafe. Surprisingly not too busy for the first day opening up again. Lovely, got some silk fabric, other odds and ends. Awesome
b. r.
Beautiful interior, nice variety of stuff, but wow the clothes are pricey.
J. D.
Amazing beautiful store, helpful assistants and online pick up is super easy
J. M.
The Christmas floor is the best.
G. C.
Liberty is one of the few department stores where you can just relax and enjoy the shopping experience. The building per se is beautiful and the products are all very particular. I especially love the home decor area.
c. v.
I love this old British department store.
My favourite in west end.
It's has every thing you expect.
Staff are very helpful & don't pressure you. They are on hand when you need them.
S. D.
I used to be a lift man here, some decades ago ! Still lovely things here, but looks pretty shabby.
A.
Always love coming to this store when in London! It's got old world charm and great options for everyone. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
A. A.
Elgent and beautiful department store. It has w heritage that makes it unique. The staff are friendly and helpful and it's well organized
D. L.
Amazing place, the atmosphere in the store takes you to another time.
S. V.
This shop has everything and everything beautiful. It’s pricey but worth it.
A. M.
I just love looking at the interior of this shop. Beautiful
A.
Great department store with an interesting variety of products to browse.
C. O.
Beautiful, caters for all age ranges too!
M. W.
An adventure in and of itself! Not like any other retail store I have ever visited! Every floor is a cornucopia of sights, sounds, fragrances and textures. They have most unusual items, that you'd never find in Harrods, Selfridges or any other departments store. Spent money only in the cafe, but had a few hours of fabulous fantasy shopping!
B. R.
Amazing store in a beautiful building. Helpful staff and great selection of everything.
R. P.
Liberty in London is fantastic. It's just off Regents Street and so pleasing to the eye as its truly unique. The Building is Ancient but been lovenly used. Elegantly presented not cheap mind but the content is amazing bespoke made products from around the world. A must for a visit and we gave visited I the summer and recently in the run up to christmas. The staff are well trained and I would recommend Liberty for a visit any time of the year...........
M. G.
Liberty is a quaint little store. Great for good gifts, and for getting the latest designer trends. The interior is unique in the London high street retailers, very inviting. I particularly love the Christmas display. Also seems like their advent calendars are great, but I haven't managed to get one yet. Highly recommended if you're ever in the Oxford Circus / Carnaby Street area.
D. S.
Beautyful store, with very helpful fitted out staff, but oh so expensive
C. H. H.
Magical experience. Just for a look if not to actually buy something. The fabrics are breathtaking.
K. H.
Absolutely stunning, loved it, a really old fashioned shop
C. T.
Admittedly visited for the building (fabulous) but did enjoy the shopping experience.
G. C.
finally to get to see one of the oldest department store in London. most structure are made of wood so lots of characters. Great spot to try afternoon tea.
K. T.
Very luxurious feel and a nice treat to visit, but quite overpriced for some items, although it is a luxury store
K. N.
Amazing shops and decore. The building alone is a marvel to behold
Y.
This building is a maze. Selling modern luxury goods.
J. Y. B.
beautiful things, but entirely rude staff. makes me want to actively avoid going in. shop online!
E. B.
A lovely shop but more focussed on looking good than stocking quality goods. The cookware section contained nothing but crockery
2.
Very nice, amazing building. I spent more time looking at the buildings deco/structure than the items for sale. Very clean toilets.
N. H.
Liberty clothes, fabrics, patterns ...
The atmosphere is really unique and magic!
H. B.
I always love a visit to Liberty - the smells, the materials, plus the Lego model of Liberty on the 4th floor is brilliant
J. S.
A national and historic treasure! This store is worth visiting just for its rich history and the magnificent building which has been preserved so wonderfully through centuries.
But the store itself has a lot to offer, although be prepared to pay handsomely. The store is perhaps mostly famous for its patterns and dyed fabrics, which are quite something. But there are clothes, perfume, interior design to be found here as well.
It couldn't be located more conveniently, just off Regents Street, in the north west corner of soho.
A. B.
Great place and great Xmas display. Worth the trip
A. N.
Beautiful departmental store with old-school English decorations. Apart from the usual cosmetics offerings at ground level which are standard price as elsewhere, other sections like homeware and such is really expensive, as expected. That said, the product showcase and decor really make for a cohesive, beautiful browsing experience.
K. B.
there lots of lovely gifts ideas they are quite expensive depending on your budget. It has several levels to walk round too.
l. m.
Best shop in the world strange collection of goods but not cheap
c. a.
Fantastic store, wonderful layout, beautiful building, efficient and friendly staff.
C. X.
Really nice cafe/bar and staff. Helpful recently staff throughout the store
J. B. a. j.
Best department store in London. Florie had her first trip and had all the attention from the other customers.
M. S.
Always a treat to visit this place, there christmas shop is lovely, many unusual items for sale, such a beautiful building.
W. O.
I love it here, the beautiful old building is worth it even if you're not a shopaholic! I adore the stationery section especially... could spend days ogling at all the pretty things
T. W.
Ordered food in the cocktail bar didn't receive it. Got money back but nothing in way of apology to compensate
A. R.
Very cool items and an absolutely spectacular building.
A. W.
Beautiful architecture!
Worth a visit to admire the timeless beauty that is Liberty London , even if you do not plan to be spending much money here.
Most of what’s sold here are branded goods of big price tags.
Can be time consuming trying to get into one of those classic elevators. Not escalators around, expect to walk down the stairs when moving down the levels.
K. P.
A joy to browse and shop in an iconic London department store for something special.
D. M.
It's a great place to shop. They also have a vintage section. If you come to London, you must visit it!
They also have nice gift ideas and their patterns are amazing!
The Manolo corner in the shoe department is my favourite part of the store!
M. C.
Love this magical place! Not to everyone’s taste, but definitely cute!
E. G.
I always visit this shop when in London, staff are helpful without being pushy. Relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful shop. I made three purchases today
A. A.
Love this place forever and I got nice perfumes before one week ago form liberty London 🤩
R. A.
A beautiful collection of perfumes. Loved Fredric Malle corner and Bureqa was such a great help.
H. J.
My mother and I recently went to Liberty to do some shopping and enjoy coffee and cake. The place was beautiful both inside & out, as always, with a wide range of products for sale, all beautifully laid out.
We went to the café and enjoyed flat whites whilst sharing a slice of the victoria sponge (see photo) which was very generous! Service was prompt and staff were very friendly.
The bathrooms were clean, modern and the luxury hand soap was a lovely touch.
A little bit more signage inside the building would have been useful as we found ourselves getting a little lost a few times!
A lovely morning out - we will definitely return in future.
J. J.
Spent some time and money wandering around Liberty London at lunch time today. This shop is amazing, if I had time I could spend all afternoon just enjoying the place.
N. L.
Love Liberty London but except for a lovely cup of tea (no famous Arthur's carrot cake available ) I found nothing to buy.
D. C.
Beautifully decorated department store with so much character. Definitely must-visit for us when in London. 🇬🇧
F. R.
Great selection and very cool a-typical shop
N. C.
Came here for choosing the gift card and little craft in the lobby shop. Also the flower is very British style 💐 If you wanna find some limited design of some famous brand you can check Liberty first. The building is also the photo point, very historical and British style! Easy to get there just near by the underground and a lot of cafe and shops around here. Oxford street x Regent Street is my best choice.
R. W.
Full of beautiful things - and lots of random but still wonderful things !
L. G.
Liberty is an interesting place. The building is less than 100 years old but it's really well built and inspired by period architecture. But don't expect to find anything really different. It's a mix of a luxury store and an old fashioned mall. I prefer to go directly to the brand store when there is one in London
G. L.
Fantastic shop, beautiful items for sale.
W. L.
Liberty brings high-end shopping to a more colloquial level with their living-room experience, albeit an expensive living room. Their beauty section is gorgeous with some really niche perfume brands, eg The Perfumer's Story by Azzi with their Tuscan Suede: I mean, you couldn't get that in your local boots, right? Their flower-shop entrance hightens the homely experience. The only thing is that their home-experience might become a bit unstructured with shopping at times being, especially when you're used to sleek stores like Selffridges.
L. M.
Fantastic building built out of an old sailing ship with many amazing items to buy

A gem. Lovely old building with creeking for boards and Tudor beams. Nice just to stroll around and see their lovely merchandise.

If you go to London you have to go to Libertys.

An absolutely beautiful building and a gorgeous place to visit. I went here because one of my favorite songs was actually written here but I enjoyed Liberty not just because of the song. It's a very luxurious plsce to shop at so I didn't actually buy anything but even if you go there to just roam around... It's worth it. Really beautiful.

Nice to visit after a good few years, but didn't seem to have quite the quaint old charm I recall. I'll blame the covid restrictions!!

Beautiful luxury store. The interior and exterior are beautiful. Great selection of high-end clothing and accessories.
Gorgeous decorations during the festive season!

It is more like an art museum for me. Love the furniture and home deco floor. And of course Liberty’s fabric is a must-see.

Great place for unusual gifts.

Excellent department store and the building is out of this world.

Beautiful building and visual merchandising throughout fantastic.
Being a high end store there isn't many bargains to be had even in the advertised sale however definitely worth a visit and plenty to splurge on

Best department store in my opinion. The staff were amazing. Gave me two scratch cards instead of one. Won amazing prizes.

Christmas bauble time....🎄❤ ensure you use the back stairs, alot easier.

A lovely historic building, the shop floors are well laid out and customer service is great.

Incredible brands to choose from! Pure elegance in all the stores and an incredible luxury experience! Definitely worth to visit ❤️

Pretentious and ostentatious!! But getting a present for my beautiful fiancee so happy to pay the extra
S. H.
Very interesting retro decor but less selection and brands compared to other department stores.

One of the oldest shops in London specializing in selling fabrics are worth a visit and seeing the building. Also, you can obtain a membership card and benefit from the offered features.

Iconic!! If you're a tourist in London, you must experience the luxury of Liberty London. The mix of chic designer, with famous silks, and beautiful architecture is just perfect.

This place is just a lovely shopping experience! The Christmas floor in particular is so festive, and the loyalty card scheme seems good!!

When we lived down South we used to visit Liberty London at Christmas. The opportunity to visit since we moved up North has not been possible.
So this visit was the first in some years and, as always, not a disappointment!
Fantastic displays, their Haberdashery department is phenomenal but all their offerings are so well presented.
Quality exudes throughout and the pricing reflects that. You just need to be aware that there is no bargain basement but the quality and distinctiveness is worth the cost.
We hope our next visit will not be so far ahead but if you seek originality, excellent attention by the incredibly knowledgeable staff, look no further than this fine store!

good shop, nice stuff.

My favorite happy shopping place.
Loving the atmosphere, the products & brands selection from beauty to clothes to accessories is just wow.
Beautiful decor
Don’t miss the coffee shop :)

Once your in the area pass by Liberty London to enjoy the real shopping experience. It has numerous options of cloths wether casual or elegant. Afterwards, pass by the vintage corner which displays vintage high end brands purses and accessories. If you’re there during the holidays go to the last floor to see the phenomenal Christmas ornaments and decorations. P.S. Liberty is a great store for unique souvenirs.

Slow service to be seated and nobody letting you know anything but after being seated good service

Full of product choices. You'll easily get lost here and can't make a decision if you don't have anything particular in your mind before you set foot here. Well, seeking opinion from the friendly sales advisors would inspire you, though.

Just got back from a weekend away in London with my family. Could not off gone to Liberty's before leaving. The shop looks amazing and made us all feel like Christmas was here. Great visit

Very opulent, after a lottery win you must visit lol, very interesting, works due Spring 2020, hopefully to fix the numerous leaks in the roof. TBH well worth a visit 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
J. S.
Loved it here, lovely feel and great selection of products, even if I couldn't afford any 😉

This is an amazing shop to be in. What an experience.

Incredible building. Good selection of items for sale
A. C.
It's an upmarket store set in the centre of London what's more can you say. Apart from it's not cheap.
R. A.
London’s most iconic department store. The building is large but separated into little sections that seem to go on forever. Range of different brands from accessible to high end.
G. U.
The staff and products are fantastic, it's just unbearably hot in winter!
G. C.
Great building but a lot of whats on offer is way way over priced so of the Christmas items were priced at silly prices but i guess thats London and the shop name.
A. W.
Worth visiting for the Christmas decorations alone. A wonderful London institution.
D. Q.
A MUST if you're in London. Enjoy the architecture as well as the design. The products are exquisite also. The habadashery is unmatched. The service cannot be topped.

Liberty London is one of the most exciting department stores I have ever visited. Starting from the ancient building with wooden stairs, all the products are breathtaking presented. The Christmas atmospher is the cherry on the pie.
N. M.
I was working on the building, so I can't give a proper review

What an amazing place to visit and shop. A must see if you're in the area
L. C.
Such an incredible shop! On the pricey side, but there's so much to see, so its definitely worth a visit! And the Christmas shop is a must see!
M. L.
In addition to carrying the lovely Liberty of London fabrics, this shop is also a department store of sorts with high end designer fashions, home goods and more. Worth checking out!

Haven't been inside but from outside it's just beautiful
V. L. S.
Love this store beautiful stock and choice.

What of London's most iconic department stores. They have a pretty great menswear section downstairs. Premium brands, not so much streetwear but just really nice clothes. Recommend visit.

Very amazing shopping venue
