Went to look at televisions. Not a huge choice of tellies to look at but the staff are very friendly and helpful. This retailer has a which best buy and has done so for many years for a reason. I've bought a lot from them in the past and will continue to do so.

Absolutely brilliant. I used them back in 2008 and wouldn’t go anywhere else. They know what they are talking about service they offer is second to none. Prices are competitive and also they are happy to give further discounts. Remember parking is an issue and be prepared to pay the congestion charge and ulez if not exempt.

Fantastic service from Robin at the London Bridge branch. He went out of his way to provide excellent service when I needed to replace a set of broken headphones. After ordering it turned out my replacement pair wasn't available for delivery from the warehouse. When i was looking to buy some multi-room speakers a number of my friends suggested trying Richer Sounds for their product knowledge. So I went along to two branches and bought my pair of Sonos speakers after some guidance from the London Bridge team. All so far so good. Unfortunately there was an issue with my delivery (nothing to do with RS) and Phil and team handled it brilliantly. They went well well beyond what is excellent customer service and got my speakers to me by the time of my party. This involved multiple couriers and was during this recent virus crisis. I must say I didn't truly value the notion of customer service until I dealt with the exceptionally competent staff at the London Bridge Richer Sounds Branch. Phil, in particular, was a shining example of how businesses can conduct themselves in an exemplary manner in order to source long term customers. The price match mechanism Richer Sounds' offers is far from a gimmick and any queries I raised were dealt with seamlessly in a timely manner. Additionally, I received a phone call from Phil a week after the TV arrived just to check up on how things were going. Fantastic experience all around. I first came to this branch in around 1983 when it was just a hole in the wall with hifi stacked from the floor to the ceiling, I was in awe as a school kid wanting to save up for my first hi fi, the shop staff were just fantastic never looking down their noses etc since then I have purchased virtually every bit of hi fi from them, I don't think I could ever go anywhere else though I have been to other branches as the London Bridge branch is a bit awkward to get to, though those early days filled me with nostalgia, my first Amp from Fisher which became faulty after a few months to my horror but the guys allowed me to upgrade to an AKAI AMU5 (an old school Japanese amp) those were the days. Highly recommend customer for life.

Been meaning to leave a review for a while now but only just round to it now. Bought an OLED back in February and upon receiving it there were some image issues (uniformity and clouding) which I contacted the store about with some relevant images. Charlie then got back in touch with me and after a quick phone call promptly arranged a courier to come pick up the TV and drop of a brand new replacement which I did not expect. Spoke to several different staff members on the phone before making it to the shop - all were incredibly helpful and willing to spend the time giving good advice. In store I was served by Charlie who was excellent and very patient. They pack a surprising range of products in to such a small store. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite the store being busy. Simon had the advice I needed and even took a little extra off the clearance item I bought as the price on similar items had recently dropped. Where else have you had a shop give money off unprompted! If you're looking to hear a few options, it might be better to book an appointment which they seemed happy to do when another customer asked. Richer Sounds have been in the game a fair while and its clear why people trust them!

Yeah, this my choice for TV/audio stuff. A very helpful staff, a large variety of products, that you can test in the store. You can also ask sales manager to describe device and you will be happy to get such detailed feedback. Believe me, I was! 10/10 is my mark. Would like to recommend them everyone!

Outstanding service, lovely helpful staff who insist on going above and beyond! Went in to buy my first "proper" record player set up as a complete novice, and the employees, especially Brenno, were incredibly patient in passing on their extensive knowledge. Took the time to answer all my questions without a hint of impatience, set up demos with multiple systems no questions asked, and took my personal requirements into consideration. This was completely customer focused service, not a one-size-fits-all or "this is the best buy this" approach. In fact, when they realised one part of the set up I was buying wasn't in stock they immediately set about ordering it from the next nearest branch and it arrived within about an hour - they could have just told me to buy something different they had in stock but they respected the decision they had helped me make. When a small delicate part of my system broke during set up, Brenno was unbelievably understanding and helpful, ordering a replacement part free of charge and keeping me updated every step of the way. I felt very well looked after by the staff at this branch, and I'm grateful for their expertise, they've earned a customer for life.

In the UK if you attempt to shop anywhere else for AV equipment you do at your own peril. Richer Sound really knows their items and almost every staff member is an enthusiast themselves. This branch has a great backroom with lots of test equipment and for a small shop quite a selection you can just view. My next big purchase will certainly be from there.

I have experience of buying audio visual equipment from independent specialists, John Lewis and mass-market chains. My experience of Richer Sounds has me rating them equal to the independent specialists. Knowledge is excellent, customer care excellent, friendliness and helpfulness, excellent. Visiting their stores at busy times will likely result in a less complete service as they do get very busy indeed. If at all possible, visit outside of peak hours if you want the benefit of talking through your wants and needs and benefitting from their advice.

Recently I had some problems with the amp which I have sent fro warranty repair - guys offered temporary loan equipment because the repair took longer than expected.

I've used Richer Sounds for buying my equipment since the 1980s. The original London Bridge store was always a first go to for speakers,CD players,DVD recorders, tape decks, whatever I wanted. The staff were always helpful and the prices the best in the UK. Recently my Marantz CD player I had for 30 years gave up the ghost. I saw that Cambridge Audio CD players were being offered at terrific prices. Kai gave me a great deal on a Topaz CD10. Unfortunately it did not work properly so the next day Steve gave me a brand new spanking machine with a smile and a substantial discount. The new shop in Tooley Street is a bit of a walk from Thomas Street but the atmosphere of the shop and pleasantness of the staff made it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Came here to buy some speakers a couple of months ago, with a particular set in mind, based on various reviews. The staff were brilliant, especially Ali, who had no problem swapping speakers over and over again while we took our time listening. In the end, we went for a more expensive set than we had in mind because they sounded fantastic - but this was under no pressure from the staff, in fact Ali was keen to point out decent, cheaper alternatives. Very happy with Richer Sounds, and very happy with the speakers as well - they have given my old turntable and amplifier a new lease of life and sound amazing.

We asked RIcher Sounds to take a look at our commercial sound installation as quality was poor and we were considering an upgrade. The engineer (Steve) came over within the hour and was great. He took time to assess what we had, then tweaked and sorted the sound quality without us needing to replace anything - we were really impressed with his knowledge and professionalism, not to mention his honesty when he said the system was fine, it just needed adjusting. Came in to check out some high quality headphone amps and they set one aside for me after work. When I dropped in I was surprised at how they had one ready and let me demo my own music, including high res, as long as I wanted. Left me alone but were on hand for questions. After my trial I spoke to same chap, Charlie, who asked more about my use and we ended up trying some upmarket models, a new Hugo2 in the back for me to try. I have some nice earbuds (Shure 846) and mentioned the overhead nice headphones I had at home (Shure 1540s). Somehow he magicked a pair there for me to try immediately. The sound was amazing and it was kind of cool that the whole staff was enthused about the kit. It’s been a week and still I am hearing all my existing music as if for the first time in hi res with the Chord Hugo2, Charlie called to check in on that and I was just so surprised by the whole experience. Could not have gone better for the top end DAC in my view.

Delivery was ordered on a certain day and had update calls for when would arrive. A piece was missing from the manufacturer and they personally came round to deliver it and help me out, doubt you'd get that kind of service from any of the bigger competitors. Charlie / Steve - are top drawer. Diligent, helpful, patient hifi experts. I bought Arcam and Focal kit a fortnight ago with 100% of Charlie's time pre Christmas for a 90 minute kit demo in store. I have a couple of questions, we are speaking on the phone on Boxing Day ahead of the store opening. Then Steve comes to our house - an hour on the train out of London - and spends an hour ironing out issues. Real teamwork. I don't say this lightly - Richer Sounds is more like John Lewis than John Lewis! Bravo.

Excellent customer service from Charlie and the team. I took in an old CD player for repair, but was was warned by Charlie that it might not be do-able and I would lose my £40 deposit. Instead they suggested I tried an independent shop first (gave me a phone number), which I did. They even stored my CD player overnight to save me lugging it home. And sent me away with a box and bubble wrap to keep the CD player safe. All of this without charging me a thing. I will make a point of going back to actually buy something next time!

If only all businesses ran like this! I went in to choose new stereo equipment after a gap of decades, during which I prioritised practicality over sound quality. Charlie played me some great speakers and didn't put me under pressure. He explained the technology of the AMP/DAC without mansplaining or patronising. I came home and did some googling then went back, without any sense of pressure. I listened some more and bought speakers and amp. The same day they delivered the showroom set so I could have my new gear for a party over the weekend, then a few days later my brand new purchase was swapped in by the installation team at no extra cost. The cabling and set up were more or less free. The installers, Steve and Russell, were efficient, helpful and very polite. They helped us get the most from the system using our phones, again, not patronising, just good old fashioned service. What a pleasure.

I've been lucky enough to be able to shop at Richer Sounds and in different parts of the UK. After 16 years my audio equipment needed updating. The staff at London Bridge were and are second to none (not that Bromley or Holborn aren't good!). Attentive replies to emails about stock, spec and price were swift (special mention to Phil). All the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and not even slightly pushy. As others have commented, I received a not insignificant impromptu discount. This when their prices was still the cheapest around. Delighted! Pay them a visit - you're unlikely to be disappointed. If only all high Street retailers were like this.
