I contacted him in the morning and he replied promptly with some simple instructions to check if my washing machine could be repair or if i needed a new washing machine. He fitted me into his busy schedule in the evening as i struggled to get time off from work to be home and repaired the machine in 5-15mins. He also helped to check if my tumble dryer needed repair. His price was affordable and reasonable. Most importantly, from my experience, he is honest and fair. I can’t thank Colin enough for his help and advice. Had a problem with washing machine and Colin replied to me immediately with some suggestions for me to try first. Unfortunately it turned out to be a problem with the drum and wasn’t worth repairing. However I’ve now learned how to clean a filter (which was full of wire, coins etc you name it). He even suggested I check the model as there was a recall on some of these machines. Although he wasn’t able to provide a repair he went over and above to try to help and advise for free. Colin responded the same day to my repair enquiry (even though it was a Sunday) and he was able to visit our home to replace the carbon brushes on our Bosch washing machine by 9.30am the following day. He has a friendly, professional manner and I can't recommend him enough to anyone needing his knowledge and skills. Great service - would definitely recommend. I called last week about a faulty washing machine and was given a possible diagnosis and a quote there and then, and an appointment for the following morning. By 9am my washing machine was up and running again and we’re very happy with the service, the price and Colin’s friendliness and attitude. A friend who is in the same business (but is too far away to do the job) had also diagnosed the problem by phone and given me a rough estimate so I’d know what to expect. The price we paid was just over half what I’d been advised so really happy with the value for money too.

I would highly recommend this company, I called on behalf of my mum who’s old washing machine was broken. Sadly because of age, it wasn’t worth fixing. The engineer was prompt ( came within 40 mins of calling the company), he attempted to fix it, was professional and upfront. Fabulous service! Colin was the second engineer I called - the first one was unable to identify the fault and actually recommended giving Colin a call. Rang this company up this morning because my washing machine wasn’t working correctly. A very friendly polite bloke turned up at my door about twenty minutes later, diagnosed the problem, explained to me how my washer works best on what settings,fixed it and left. Done a test load after he left and it’s working properly. Only charged me £20 as well so bargain. What more can I say? My washer-dryer was throwing a fit, so I found this company and told my partner to give Colin a call. She described the problems to him, and instead of making a money grab, he simply advised her as to what steps she should take that might help, and that she should contact the manufacturer if his advice didn't work as such problems should not present in a machine that's barely a year old. We followed his advice, and the machine is now working fine. It feels almost unfair not to have paid him for his advice. Keep up the excellent, honest service. Having contacted Hotpoint re our washing machine only 6 months old being faulty and would be 7 days before an engineer would come out AND if a blockage would not be covered and a charge of £109 would be incurred. My washer had been tripping the RCD and switching off the plug main. Initial suggestion from the guy that sorted out the RCD was that my relatively new machine was faulty. Colin came out and tested my machine and tried a few possible causes and none of these tripped the circuit. Colin demonstrated that there was nothing wrong with my machine and that it may well be a faulty socket, avoiding the need to consider a new machine at ca. £300. Despite spending 20 mins of his time plus driving to my address, Colin refused any payment as he does not charge for call outs! Absolutely top bloke and a real gent. Throughly recommend him.
