I had a bad experience in another Richer Sounds sadly so it had always put me off coming back and giving the company money. J.Actually came in here a few month back, looking for an audio visual set up. The service i received was impeccable. I was told about the clearance deals they have online. I wanted an OLED tv but only had a 1k budget for the tv. After many months of hoping one would turn up. Well it did. Delivered a few days later. However when he spoke to his colleague he came back and agreed that the original item I came in for was the better record player as that is what his colleague advised. Had to pick up a pair of speakers and stands for the speakers as well and the Sales guy pointed out decently priced equipment. Also took time to hook the speakers up to give me a demo of them. I have bought a sound bar from here in the past and if I was to ever buy audio equipment, this place would be my first port of call. Purchase made in Feb 18. The best thing about Richer Sounds is the six year guarantee that they offer really makes them stand out from the rest, this is my fourth TV from them, and they do honour their guarantees, I had one month left on my Samsung tv, it developed a fault and was fixed without a fuss.
Only down side to me is the parking for the store.
t. 3.Legendary, no-nonsense retailer. Cost is kept low - and it shows - with the benefit passed onto the customer. Must visit if you have never been in one. However, the Newcastle branch does not tend to have a lot of the true branch-dependent bargains, probably because local people clean them out too quickly.
k. t.I have been struggling for months to get the buzzing on my record player to stop. I've watched so many youtube clips and have tried everything possible. All Anis at Richer Sounds suggested was for me to put the other end of the copper earthing wire coming from pre-amp into the back of my record player. I am absolutely over the moon!!! P. C.After paying cash to fenwicks of £2500 for tv and speaker equipment and having 2 weeks messing around . And on day I took of work for delivery . Equipment never came. I had enough as tv wasn’t even on there system. I reluctantly took my cash and told to go to richer sounds . So thank to euan the Deputy manager who served me today and got the items I needed with next day delivery. Thanks great staff. 🙌

I actually seen new TV on Curry’s team valley store 4K and cannot decide to go for Sony, Samsung or LG. Curry’s sales guy walked pass are you alright there? Yes we looking for TV and struggling to make decision which one to go for. He done his entire Sell jargon basically we walked out of shop.
Done bit online research and decided it’s only Sony do 10bit colour so rang richer should Newcastle store Wednesday - not in stock - we can get it for you by Friday that’s fine. May I also ask price match please? Yes of-course - matched & 10% less then CO-OP Electronics.
Got phone call TV is arrived - You can pickup anytime. I went in - guy make sure is this the model I reserved - I agree - pay for it - explained to register for warranty - paper work handed - guy help me to load in car. Have a good evening sir. H.Richer Sounds have been around since the 70's, the original independent chain of audio/visual retailers who stock proper hi-fi, loudspeakers, amps, etc. They all know they're stuff and are avid AV enthusiasts, unlike other national retailers or department stores who employ Sales personnel. The dedicated AV listening room makes all the difference when demoing the equipment.
b. 5.Dale the Manager was brilliant in resolving an issue iIhad with LG. He took over the problem and solved the problem the same day after 2 months of being involverd with LG. Many thanks Dale

I called in just before closing on Saturday to discuss my options to upgrade the floorstanders on my existing Cambridge audio 5.1 setup purchased here some 3 years ago. which I use primarily for PC gaming and sometimes relatively bassy music. I discussed several options and was invited to bring my equipment to the demo room on Sunday.
I spent almost 2 hours in the demo room trying out different speakers on games from my laptop and various types of music. I ended up purchasing a set of Dali Zensor 7 speakers which sounded incredible compared to my original Cambrige audio S70s.
Would highly recommend Richer Sounds to anyone looking for advice on, or to purchase a new TV or speaker system.

i. r.Lovely staff, good prices, however would suggest going late on a Thursday as there is no free parking within a 100 metre radius until after 6.30pm and even then it is double yellow lines up to the street behind, I would suggest bringing someone with you if you are taking something large like a TV home, however the staff are nice enough to help you carry it.

over the past 6 years I have spent upwards to £8000 on TV's, sound system's and accessories and have directed many friends and family this way also. Please excuse the fact that I've spent a lot of money as I am a very shrewd person when it comes to spending money but the fact that my eyes were open as to the types of viewing experience I had always had (with my cheaper tv's), I have realised that expertise is the most important factor when spending a lot of money on something you spend so much of your time enjoying (watching TV / listening to music). What makes Richer Sounds (and Euen in particular) stand out from the rest is that no matter when I pop into the store and phone into the shop they remember everything I've purchased over the years and can advise on tweaks and changes to get the best out of my products. I always thought the big high street shops offered the best prices and naively stayed away from places like Richer sounds thinking they were too expensive and only for the rich footballers of this world - how wrong was I !!!!

C.Absolutely outstanding customer service from Steve, I was looking to buy a Samsung Smart TV for the bedroom, Steve gave excellent advice on which TV would suit my needs, I finally decided on.the Samsung Qe43q60a. It comes with 2 remotes, and was very simple to set up, and the picture quality is fantastic. I use a firestick with the TV and the Tv remote will control the firestick, so only need to use one remote for both.
