H. W.A very large store which is spread over 3 levels. There is a choice of an escalator, stairs or lift to get from floor to floor. The store is well laid out and easy to find the department you are looking for.
M. B.Been in here a few times now. When we go in we hide king prawns fried in butter and garlic around the store, and then Terry goes in 45 minutes later to look for them. I think he has found 5 of the 8 we have so far hidden. We all had a meeting after the first round, and it was agreed that putting them in clothing pockets was too time consuming to find, but likewise hiding them in the homeware isles was boring, because that's basically just putting a crumpet on a plate. I stashed 1 in the butter dishes though, made myself laugh. He said he didn't find that one. Also bought some brown cords which fit very nicely. I know its spring and that's really a winter wear, but they will go in the cupboard until autumn no problem, I don't have any moths in the wardrobe so they should keep fresh enough.
M. F.This shop in the high street in Newcastle is situated on the first and second floor. It is a lift and mechanical stairs.
They have clothes, shoes, swimming costumes, coats, home decoration, kitchen utilities, bags, creams, decoration and more items. Good quality and good service.

s.The best TKMaxx ever... I've been to the London ones frequently, Ilford and Ealing centre.. As Well as Central London. This tops the lot!!! Always find a billion things I want here
C.I like the TKMaxx in Hartlepool the best!! Love finding the odd nice soap box, jewellery, household stuff etc! They do have a lot of different selections!!
M.Found a pair of Buddhas id been searching for. Phoned up and the lovely girl kept them for me. Service above and beyond. Even had them carried out to door for me as they were very heavy.

These are the places to shop when you don't know what to buy someone for any reason.
The Newcastle store is similar to the Cramlington store and the Cramlington is similar to many other stores in the T K Maxx empire. I have visited and shopped at many T K Maxx stores in this and other countries.
Rest assured you will nearly always find one of there stores in which to buy the items you want for yourself or gifts for others.
They really are department stores with price reductions on everything.
So many large stores now feel they are being disregarded by their regular customers. Some stores, which were always busy at this time year, are, in deed, loosing customers.
I wonder why?
1) Well perhaps it is because T K Maxx has so many items in each department at much lower prices. I always check how much I can save at T K before buying elsewhere.
2) The items on sale can be anything they find worldwide, which makes shopping interesting and at times exciting.
If you haven't shopped at T K Maxx yet you don't know what you are missing.

I.Great shop. The prices are very good and you can get most things you need. The staff don't pester you like in some shops and they are very helpful and wish you have a good day. The first time I went in a tk Maxx was fantastic. I've bought some great items and will definitely be going there again. 5 star rating for a great shop.

C.I visited yesterday and Brian on the fitting rooms was absolutely excellent and exactly who you'd want on the fitting rooms, very complimentary about clothes etc and made you feel a million dollars. A stark contrast from my visit today with a rather unpleasant lady on the fitting rooms who made me feel like a criminal. She made me hang all my items on the rail to make sure I wasn't hiding any, checked again on the way out (despite me saying I was buying 4 items) and then I asked if, once I'd bought the items I could come back and get changed into one, as it was a bit chilly outside and a jumper would be nice and she said she'd need to check my receipt, which she did and again it got checked again on the way out. I understand there are procedures but her tone and her manner easily ruined my day and I won't be revisiting. Not the kind of feeling you want to be left with. But 5 stars for Brian - he deserves a pay rise!

B.I'm not a big shopping kinda bloke but I needed a new sports water bottle and didn't want to spend a fortune on it, got a great 2ltr one which was just what I was needing and it didn't break the bank, I had to wade through loads of clutter and the fashion hungry populace to get it but it wasn't too busy thankfully at the time i was there, a few times I have tried to go in and at the top of the first escalator i've just turned around and came straight back out again.

C. T.I quite like this TK Maxx it's quite big and you can find some great deals here. However organisation is a little bit messy and there's rarely any staff on hand to help. Changing room staff are always good though.

Prices are very competitive,including good designer products.I buy my Calvin Klein socks there regularly,sometimes shoes.
There is a great choice of natural cosmetics and bathing items,well discounted.
Good quality foodstuffs,especially coffee and olive oil,and household items and luggage are other choices.
The drawback is,you may not find what you require at once.Also,if you discover a favoured product,it might not be stocked next time.
Best avoid peak shopping hours,especially at Newcastle store,gets very pushy.

L. T.Went in on a whim one day and it has very quickly became one of my go-to places to shop! TK Maxx offers a huge range of styles and sizes on a budget, for example, I saved nearly 400 pound on one coat alone! I think my favorite section of the store has to be the home section, everything is so unique. The shop is very neatly set out and parking for the store is very accessible. Not to mention the staff, from what I've seen, are very friendly snd helpful.

( More of awful customers fault but I think broken makeup should be taken out and cleaned up at the very least. )

T K Maxx buy, at low-cost, out-of-season stock from designers/retailers who want to display new season stock and then T K Maxx sell it on for up to 60% off, THEN twice per year they have a Clearance Sale (usually Jan & Sept I think) by reducing the prices even further, AND they also run projects in developing countries in which the staff can become involved!!! AMAZING!!! ☺️♥️🌟

S. D.So I’ve been to quite a lot of TKMaxx shops and visited here today, this has to be about my fav. There is just the right amount in each department. The home wear is great from picture frames to duvets.everything you need to kit your house out in.
There are plenty of shoes, I was impressed as there where so many size 3 shoes. I often find in TK Maxx that usually there is only quarter of a row of my size compared to several rows of the bigger sizes. Here it was pretty even.
the beauty section is great. Loads to choose from.
Really good children’s are from cloths to toys to stuff for the nursery.
My hubby loved all the men’s stuff.
Even the pet section was good.

H. G.Fabulous help from TK Maxx staff today. Embarrassed to say, I got my foot stuck when trying on a long pair of boots (the zip caught on the seam). After struggling a while to remove it, out of the blue 2 men arrived to help (the security guard and another). Apparently they had been called from someone on the fitting room nearby. After much pulling and tugging the boot still wouldn't budge (I was trying to take it off when the zip got stuck)! I was so sorry that in the end they had to use scissors. I was relieved to have their help, but even more pleased by their good sense of humour and relaxed and calm attitude about the whole thing. They could so easily have made me feel guilty or embarrassed, but instead they were as helpful as possible and got stuck in trying to help. Many thanks gents.

V. C.As far as TK Maxx goes, this one is big without being out in a box park - as ever, hit and miss, but a big store with a lift, and plenty to browse. Sometimes the queues to pay are long, but they generally move.
