Went on Sunday 13.12.20 and found it very clean. All counters have screens up. Good choice of hot or salad and drinks. Card payment only.
Children's meal comes with a roll, drink, fruit and so colouring pencils.
Came Sunday 16.01.2022 for carvery. Queue moved quickly and service was efficient and friendly. Seating area was clean and tables are cleared quickly. Lots of seating and different colours/types of chairs Toilets are downstairs which is a bit of a pain.

Love this place, they do the best cooked breakfast in the Cafe, they have a huge shop on several floors in the most gorgeous old building too, it is probably why they have still been going since 1823! Since the pandemic it is more important to keep the iconic stores like this and John Lewis going strong for at least another 200 years!.

Department stores appear to be going extinct, with the exception of Jarrold's ornate Norwich flagship store, which remains as busy as ever.
Service is usually fast and efficient, and prices seem competitive given the quality of choice on offer. (I've found the travel department particularly helpful.)
You can buy cheaper. But in life, as on the high street, you tend to get what you pay for.
And you can often pick up a bargain on sale if you hunt around.

I used to go to the restaurant on the top floor with my grandparents and the food is surprisingly a really good standard. Not sure why I’d didn’t think it would be, but the roast is consistently good! The meat is really tender and they have a lot of variety in the vegetables. They’re also really generous with the portions! The rest of the shop has everything you want from nicely styled home wear to a good selection of clothes too. I recently bought some creed aftershave and the lady serving gave me some really good advice before buying as well

A great place. I'm used to John Lewis so wasn't sure what to expect but it's lovely, with lots of great departments and 3 different places to eat and drink. We went to the seafood place on the second floor for drinks. Very friendly staff. Will def be back :)

First visit for a long time and the store has been tidied up and improved. Impressed with the extended food department. Very friendly and helpful staff. Overall, a great store

Such a fine food and book section - impressive for a independent department store.
Their Christmas treat range is not your average fair you‘d fine in a supermarket.
When in Norwich it‘s worth a visit!

Lovely store and super carvery where we had lunch. Lovely helpful staff. I was juggling my tray and a smashing young lad came over and brought our party of three some cold drinks and glasses so we didn't have to go to another counter. Good atmosphere in the seating area.
