Just wanted to say that we had a Dyson DC25 that we had been using for around 10 years. Gradually it started to give up and the rear wheel assembly broke.. I thought it was a trip to the dump and facing buying a new vacuum. I thought I would ask at Rudkins. Glad I did. The rear assembly was replaced, plus they went through the entire machine and replaced everything that was needed. Now, I have to say, as good as new for a really modest cost. So I say don’t recycle, Rudkins! Thank you!!

I must admit dont very often have to use them but the service was great, both gentleman were friendly had a good sence of humour but boy do they know their stuff. But what was nice to see is a private little business can still survive in today's online climate. While I was there at least 6 people came in to collect or drop of Hoovers

Brilliant, friendly, helpful, Small family run business where service with a smile and a chat is the norm. Seem to have every part for every appliance, or if they don't have it they can get it for you. They will fix it for you, diagnose a fault or just sell you a part. Great place to shop, worth going off the beaten track for.

Great shop! A real find! How we will manage when the owner retires goodness knows. This man is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to parts and spares. He knows more than the company's that produce the goods. Recently a spring on my Hotpoint fridge freezer broke. Unlikely event but it is a Hotpoint! He advised us the company didn't really know which part was broken even though we had the make and model and year of the fridge and sent photos. Anyway three days later the owner called to say the spring had arrived after much tooing and froing. Success the part found by much effort on behalf of the shop owner. We have visited time and again for parts for electric fires, cooker parts, dishwasher parts etc. This man finds everything. A marvel! And his shop is an Alladins cave.

Great friendly service, fixed our microwave in less than 24 hrs very reasonable price, much better option than buying a new one, saves me pounds and helps keep a small great family business running. 2 great friendly knowledgeable guys and a lovely collie helping out at the back. Will definitely think twice about disposing and buying new, pretty sure they'd give any of your appliances a new lease of life.

i felt at home as soon as i walked through the door cos theres a really nice atmosphere in there ... a bit like ye olde sweetshop!! : ) ... they fixed two broken table lamps and i was hooked ... i want to phone them for everything cos they are really friendly and pleasant!! since then i have phoned them about repairing broken led lights in the kitchen and they sent me their roving electrician (lol) who was also really kind and helpful ... last night my washing machine broke and guess what ... they have a lovely helpful man for that too!! : ) is there anything they don't have a chap to help with??? all i can now say is that i can't highly recommend rudkin's electricians highly enough!!! old school manners and superb service with a smile and a dog!!! thank you rudkins!!! : )

Ruskin's is one of the few repair shops left that give you old fashioned service. We bought a 6:slice dualit classic toaster 11 years ago that blew up. So I took it to these guys knowing I'd get excellent repair work for a fair price and as usual they didn't disappoint. Im picking it up on Saturday, don't buy new get it repaired and help the planet!
