Reviews of The Range, Plymouth - Derriford
D. M.
Went to check out this year’s Christmas decorations. Some nice new bits to complement some consistent themes over the year. Vs other shops I felt they had the full range out which was nice. Some interesting pieces too! Shop was heaving (don’t visit on a rainy day!) however they were processing customers very efficiently at the checkouts so the wait wasn’t too long. Staff at the checkouts were friendly and helpful

The store itself was extremely impressive. It has an underground car park for those busy bank holiday weekends when everyone suddenly decides they need a new garden dining set or bbq!
The shelves were fully stocked and the "range" of items was very impressive.
The diner was a little run down in places but this is obviously down to mass use so all can be forgiven (the material on our seats was all ripped up). The shop had a great selection of food and drink on offer. From pre pack sandwiches and pastries to light lunches.
The staff seemed a bit fed up to be there? This could of just been an off day or my perception but it definitely didn't seem like they wanted to help or were happy about being approached (today at least!) I had a particularly rude interaction with the lady on customer service when she looked around me and beckoned the people behind to come forward. I had seen them but they were looking at things on the shelf and pottering in their trolley so i assumed they weren't in the line to be served. So when i apologised and explained to them my error the lady at the desk quite simply made it clear that i was in the wrong. Lord knows why she was in customer service!?
There was a lady in store who had travelled in after being told an item was in stock over the phone and when she arrived the item was not or was unable to be located - again.. staff seemed to be annoyed at her for making them sort the issue out rather than actually being apologetic or helpful. Shame really.
We walked all around the outside of the building trying to find the way in, but when we found it, it all became clear as to how easy it actually is to find on foot!!
Directly situated opposite the hotel we are staying in which is a bonus!
Very happy i found the store today!
O.
Brilliant place for shopping, with a range of items from home decor, Iceland and coffee in store for a quick break. Also if you are looking for plants they have a perfect garden with beautiful plants and flowers
J. B.
This place is huge. A bit early for Halloween but fun all the same
p. s.
Went in to look for a piece of furniture that matched with our others and found it!
Arrangements were made to collect the next day, went down stairs and paid for the item and found the item was already there...
So took it there and then with the help of a nice lad think his name was Cameron
Great price and great service
They've got a good crew down there.

The Range. I love the range. The staff were lovely and everything seemed perfect. Until i went for a cuppa in Dee Dees cafe. Oh dear. For a store in Plymouth, Devon, why oh why are you advertising cream tea the Cornish way? You'll cause a civil war! Lol
J. P.
Shop is big, wide range of products, in-store Iceland, accessibility for all. Cafe is a bit small but clean and no complaints on the food. Toilets top and bottom floors and also has a lift
A. G.
The range has a reasonable selection of products and prices are OK although many are comparable to other retailers - the range has 3 key strikes against it which given this is the global HQ store is not great!
1- Layout - this is a reasonable sized store and it seems to ramble with fairly poor organisation - the upstairs area is frustrating with access at one end only despite several sets of stairs that could be opened to customer access
2- Quality of goods - or perhaps more style of the goods on offer - light fittings are a great example here - if you want cheap looking fake chandeliers with plastic droplets hanging from everywhere they possibly can then you are in - if you want something a little more reserved and OK in my view, tasteful then it's a no go
3- Checkout - there is a queue..... always it seems - the queue will be wherever the people in front decided it will be today - service needs to happen more quickly and the queue needs to be more organised
A masterclass in so near but so far

Great Shop... Friendly staff, Good customer service and care
T.
It isn’t Christmas now without a visit to the flagship Range store in Crownhill. Christmas starts in September there lol, but the lights are brilliant. Tonnes of choice, great wide parking spaces and lovely staff. Good value for money in the Iceland store within also.
d. b.
Generally a good place to find stuff. However spent some time deliberating about new garden furniture. This was ordered for delivery and paid for but they canceled the order some days later because their stick list was incorrect and the item was out of stock.
D. C.
Great little place if your looking for some home accessories, need to grab some groceries and even have a coffee.
The downsides are sometimes the price displayed isnt what you pay especially on sale items or even no labels at all. Parking is only 2 hours so easy to go over time if your having a browse at homeware, grabbing some food items or even having a coffee and some food. Beware if you leave and go back make sure to leave plenty of time inbetween or even use the other car park as your likely to get a ticket.
A. P.
Shelves were untidy and half stocked, other customers were rude and pushy around small children. Staff are grumpy and snappy with each other. Tannoy system for staff calls was frequently used and the person using it sounded depressed.
There is a decent range of bits and pieces for a browse and there is a cafe that I didn't visit on this occasion.
A. P.
I love the Range, great shop, plenty of space to walk around and have a good look 😀. The Range has plenty of great items, good prices, the que went down quickly, plenty of staff, lovely items for Christmas, just a great place to visit. Only one downfall, not easy to get to if you're catching a bus.
D. B.
The lady who helped me was super polite and understanding. Located exactly what I needed (13.5 Tog double duvet) within the stock room. Great experience.
C. L.
Flagship store for The Range and looks great both inside and out with a huge amount of choice for all your homewares needs. Staff are friendly and plentiful and navigation around the store is easy. Well worth a visit.
S. C.
The flagship store of the range, packed full of every item the range could possibly sell. Cafe is great, ample parking. Never disappoints!
G. W.
As always the range has fantastic, affordable things that some would call tat, others would call gaudy and other would would simply love. Went looking at home office desks and got the shock of my life with the doggy Santa. It's a good job I have soap and water for my brain. My brother in law (retired QA for 2 major bed companies, both extremely well known (one with the hippo and duck the other that is similarly spelt to Dulux) did spot that the mattresses on the brand new beds were all quality fails (and maybe that is why they are for display purposes only) and would not even let the dog lay on one. So take that into consideration especially as some of them were more expensive than the well know brands.
M. a. J. B.
This is the HQ and a huge store with just about everything you would want to be found here, including a garden centre, DIY section, electrical appliances, home furnishings, furniture, works of art and even a good cafe. The car park is large and in addition there is an underground car park too! Staff were friendly and very helpful, the opening hours are good too, especially as they go into the evening and the product prices are excellent. The store was well stocked and clean, highly recommended to visit!
I. M. 4.
Is one of the cheapest with a very good quality and quantity of a lot things for everything. Also has a plentiful free parking, staff are very polite and friendly, definitely a good place/store for shopping .
P. D.
Great place to go. So much on offer here for you and your home. It would take me ages to list it all. But from garden to bedroom to living room and everything in between. A huge selection and I mean it's big. I also stopped here for a coffee and a bite to eat . The cafe area was spacious and you were served by nice staff. I can reccomend this place enough. I don't give many five star ratings but this place well deserved it. Visit here you won't be dissapointed
R. T.
It was very well spaced out, the cafe was nice, make sure you get what you want though, be precise, and check your change, nice and clean toilets and the workers are friendly.
L. B.
Went to look at the Xmas stuff and was appalled at how many prices were wrong, there were so many wrong tickets under the products or no prices at all. Gave up buying anything as couldn't be bothered to keep finding staff to find prices.
L. R.
Fantastic place to shop, We Have Purchased Lights For Our Christmas Tree. Truly if we had the money we would spend £100's of pounds on Christmas Decorations and lights Absolutely 💯 Beautiful & Amazing Christmas Selection
S. K.
Managed to get some beautiful pieces for my home at great prices. They offer a huge mix of items, and the store is well set out and spacious.
The lady at Customer Service counter was very helpful, as we picked the last of an item with a damaged box. She thoroughly checked it for us and was really lovely.
Would recommend this store as feel you could furnish your house with no problems!!!
B. C.
We have been meaning to visit this store for a while, finally got to visit a few weeks back as I was on a hunt for some artificial flowers. It's massive with so much under one roof! Lots of parking space. We didn't use the cafe so not sure what its like.
J. K.
Great shop with large variety of goods from furniture to bedding and loads more and the shop includes an Iceland which is really good
D. S.
A good range of products, easy access with a lot of parking, they have a Costa in the café as well.
S. M.
I went here with my friend, lovely big shop lots to look at. We went and had something to eat in the lovely coffee shop, food was good. However when we came out off the shop we noticed a sign saying two hours maximum. It was so high up we must of missed it when going in. So my friend is now going to have a 100 pounds fine. She is so upset and discusted that she won't be shopping here again.
A.
I've been to The Range a few times. This place is huge! Has so much inventory covering all usual (and often unusual) products. Very well priced there too. There are customer toilets, a café, indoor and outdoor parking. Definitely worth a visit
M. A.
Absolutely love it here. Can literally get anything you want. Didn't even know they had an Iceland food section
N. N.
Huge new shop with plenty of things for home and garden as well as food from Iceland. Several member of staff impressed me on how caring they were. Wide choice of plants, and trees to start a spring project for your garden. Prices seems cheaper actually than amazon for example or other internet retailers.
H.
a very tight squeeze around xmas decorations. would be an unpleasant experience for those pushing prams or using
wheelchairs nothing more to say really
D. L.
My wife and I visited The Derriford store on the 20th August.
We wanted to purchase a particular garden furniture set, but we couldn't find it.
We were assisted by Chris Brown who was very polite and helpful and gave us excellent customer service.
Well done Chris, such excellent customer service nowadays is few and far between.
A. S.
Store very well stocked with very few off sales. Carpark has plenty of spaces and there were plenty of trolleys. Tills busy and can't see what till is serving next due to being short and the high stands in front of the tills. Wasn't a fan of the staff shouting next.
C. B.
Great store, friendly and helpful staff. However can't say the same about some of the cafe staff. One rude woman who I asked to re make my drink because it tasted disgusting and she gave me nothing but a rude attitude. If I've paid for my drink I expect it to be drinkable.... I was going to order food but she put me off.
P. H.
A great place to shop for everything you need in a home from kitchens and bedrooms to gardens and outdoor life. Nice selection of products from around the world and also frozen foods from Iceland.
T. C.
Everything was good until i returned an item Customer service rep was very snotty i think the return money comes out of her purse. Just smile grumpy sod
L. W.
Amazing store. Could spend all day there. Fantastic for Christmas decorations & gifts x
K. W.
Huge and great range of products and good prices. I was disappointed that one of my products had no bar code and so they refused to sell it. In the end I had to go and fetch another but all were the same. In the end I took the shelf label to the till. The supervisor couldn't care less. The canvas we purchased for the bedroom was lovely.
N. N. C. T. L. R. A. G.
Great Store, Very Clean And Organized, Bought A Beer Fridge For The Holidays.
r. B.
Good place to find what you need and buy a pizza!, park underground is a no go as its used by all staff so you get wet to buy .
J.
Massive range came whilst visiting my daughter at uni and needed some paint and got what I needed.
J. M.
Went in today, saw a nest of tables, asked a young man called Kameron about them he was great , what a helpful guy he was, he went a got me them from in the warehouse for me,nothing was to much trouble. Excellent
T. Y.
A good arounder store, reasonably priced and a vast verity on all departments, the staff are friendly and helpful 😁
L. W.
Good range of products but most of it is tat that doesn't last long so be careful what you buy
I. S.
Loads of products to view some bargain prices others a bit dearer than some other stores sell same products.
Indoor Iceland was a bit low on stock in the freezer section some of this was sold out.
S. H.
Love coming here they are very helpful especially the man at the table clothes making sure it was cut perfectly
K. C.
Never seen so many Christmas decorations. My wife had a great time.
P. B.
Had a great doze in the car whilst my wife and her accomplis got lost in time, with the many and varied life essentials and store cupboard accumulators alike.
G. E.
Plenty to choose from well laid out shop floor cafe good value plenty of parking
A. C.
Great store with everything you need to do with a home. Even outdoor activities are catered for.
M. S.
Good all round shop. With the added bonus of iceland to pick up your food shop at the same time
T. P.
Great selection of products on sale. Good selection of Christmas stuff.
j. p.
Good shop for goods but very few staff in garden centre and on shop floor ,even a query over a price took 15 minutes
D. S.
Great shop with a large selection of items. The layout is really spacious and very easy to get around without constantly bumping into people. Some good affordable items in here too. I did feel the kids toys area was a bit lacking in what my kids were after. I did like their garden area too, I'll be coming back soon to have a better look.
J. S.
Iceland has recently halved their vegan range taking away most of the interesting products leaving boring bland food. The tills are ridiculous there's never enough staff and only 8 checkouts for such a huge store with no self service either
Update. Was much better managed till wise today with all tills operating, so despite a large queue it went down quickly
D. W.
As expected a large selection. Had a coffee ( could of been warmer )
C. W.
Quite well laid out, a good 'range' of items, a good level of markdowns to keep stock moving, plenty of parking and easily accessible...what more could you ask?
M. R.
Plenty to see good range of options and prices nice cafe all year bits great for birthday and Christmas presents even in July, lovely friendly helpful staff enjoyed looking and buying got some bargains x
c. p.
Nice clean store and run well. Whilst they have alot, their child's toy section seems to take over all other sections upstairs. Their craft section is lacking unless your under the age of 5 as well as their outdoors and fitness aisle.
A. K.
I really like this retailer and the whole shopping experience... But... Sadly the wooden furniture quality is quite low, cheap and doesn't look sturdy at all. The upholstered range is ok, but nothing special.
Great, that they have an Iceland in store.
F. H.
Really good, loads of items, larger range of items. Also has Iceland & Costa on site
M. W.
A big Range store with a good, wide range of products. It also has an instore cafe that does simply but good food and drinks and a large Iceland. Most staff on previous visits have been friendly and efficient but unfortunately on my last visit with my daughter when we needed to return an item the two members of staff that served us were neither friendly or helpful. I would suggest a bit more staff training is needed Mr Dawson!
S. M.
Craft section isn't as good as it used to be. But saying that still some fab items
R. S.
Good selection of household items, and reasonable prices.
K. S.
Amazing variety of products, Iceland instore, cafe instore and they accept clearpay! Absolutely adore the range, I will say though, some products are over priced but others seriously under priced, keep that in mind when looking around and find what is the best value for money! Overall, a great shopping experience, I will 100% be returning.
Z. B.
Great store , sells everything you need
J. S.
Stocks everything you could possible need at great prices. The Iceland section is huge , I dint shoo at Iceland anymore as this is much better stocked.
A. B.
What a great place. A cafe, Iceland food and general store. Quite a spacious place with loads of free parking including an underground car park for the wet weather. Seems you can get pretty much anything here really. Great place for Christmas decorations too.
L. H.
Excellent store, well laid out, pleasant staff and disabled frirndly
N. P.
Friendly staff fantastic range of goods and well displayed.
L. T.
Very well set out and Isles are kept clear and clean do enjoy shopping at the range a very good selection and staff are always helpful and friendly
E. P.
Buying new crockery and kitchen items. Good selection of designs and 3 different ranges of pans and knives available at this time of this visit, May 2022.
D. F.
Wide variety of everything you can imagine and their christmas decorations are out.
B. M.
Enjoyed the experience lots to choose from and really would go back again and again.
D. P.
Nice place to get some great items.
I would say the last couple of time I have been, there customer service skills need attention from some of the staff.
Slightly dearer then some other stores that carry the same items.
F. T.
Love the Range in Plymouth,so large and space out nicely
W. S.
GOOD STORE. CAN BE BUSY. GOOD STAFF. GREAT RANGE. THANKS XXXX ❤️
J. R.
First time of being in this Range Store..lay out was easy to move around and great prices and great things to buy....if they had what I was looking for in store😔...online was saying they were available (Paper Mache or MDF Letters) but when I went into the store....found them eventually but only had 2 out of the 7 I needed. When I asked a young female staff member who was passing if they will be getting them in soon..she says 'don't know, what's there is it' and walks off. Not overly customer friendly the young female...I get it is busy due to the run up of Christmas but staff can still be friendly...can't they? 🤔
j. t.
Two floors and cafe. Good selection of products.
D. T.
This shop is as expansive as it it effortless in its ability to offer the very best in home produce, stationary, decorating tools and products.
On top of great everyday products, there s a garden area for the green fingered enthusiasts and Icelands supermarket.
A great value for money store, clean, well organised and fantastic cheerful staff.
M. C.
Went there for the Iceland store, very limited, whole store felt over full.
A. M.
Plenty of choice. They were just putting out Christmas decorations. Was quite busy.
A. P.
To many products not priced things that were priced had the wrong label on. them
M. J.
First time I'd visited this branch, impressed with layout things reasonably easy to find. Dealt with a couple members of staff who were very pleasant and helpful.
d. s.
Great choice of items ,plenty of parking as you got two levels ,plenty of disabled parking ,and a lift to go down to underground parking, also a lift in store to go upstairs, if on crutches you can use the escalator as it's not the steps one
S. S.
Our house is now full of tacky light houses and Buddha heads.
The range is actually an ok one stop shop, selling a ...... Range ..... If items from bagged sweets, picture frames to kitchenware. The quality is as expected at the prices you pay, but the variation is pretty good.
Has a café and a Iceland inside.
W. H.
Bought crafting goodies in the sale. The store is quite large and has a lot to offer and with Iceland being a part of them now you can also pick up some food shopping at the same time. win win.
l. b.
Had everything that I was looking for. Easy parking. Helpful staff..thank you!
C. B.
Generally had good experiences however, you need to pick the times you visit, as sometimes checkout queues can be really long.
m. d.
This range is huge. There is alot of space and a huge range of items. They also have a cafe and a big frozen food area. They have a big Christmas section which has a big range of items. Would recommend if you are trying to find something.
T. F.
Wow never heard of this place till my stepson told me but brilliant massive and so much to see great prices, bought a garden table and chairs hear, need to visit again and spend more time to really look around 😀
M. B.
We love this place. The resueraunt is getting better. We keep going back just for a look. Great
J. O.
Great staff and reasonable price
D. G.
Verbally abused by another customer as unable to open the door to the cold drinks fridge without blocking their path.
This was due to a display being thoughtlessly placed opposite the fridge doors on the approach to the tills. Other than that, a nice store and good experience.
D. H.
Came for bedware. Not impressed with their range of duvet covers. Duvet itself seems ok for the price. And basic homeware items seem adequate. I bought the duvet and a wash basin. Happy with both. But would probably go to Next Homes if I wanted something that looked smarter or classier.
P. L.
Large store selling everything from pegs to hot tubs. Prices range from very good to over priced for the quality of the item. There is an Iceland food section in store as well as a garden section and cafe.
The biggest drawback we have found is the long ques at checkout, there doesn't seem many tills for the size of store when it's busy. (May be lack of staff during the present situation with covid).
J. A. R.
At the moment I'm on crutches n the shop is very well adapted for disabilities as well as prams with lifts to all floors n the aisles are wide apart, the disabled parking spaces are very conveniently right outside the main doors. The staff very kindly took my items to customer services for me so that i didnt have to queue to pay n then took the shopping to the boot of my car. A lovely shopping experience. There was also a cafe which looked very nice n clean but I didn't use it on this occasion as it was takeaway only n juggling crutches n hot tea wouldve spelt disaster but I will next time I visit.
N. M.
Lots of stock, but prices not as cheap as expected.
R.
Went into The Range cafe for a bite. Delicious bacon sandwich and coffee served by lovely friendly ladies! Not too busy also.
Y. B.
Nice clean store that sells everything
B. A.
Endless. Massive. Really friendly staff. So much added to the wishlist!
D. E.
Great selection of goods, has changed over the years and to me not as good as it was, gone quite expensive now
A. G.
There is a bit of everything inside at good prices
b. v.
Great place to do a all in one shop and reasonably priced but 3 stars because the Christmas displays are so close together you cannot push 2 trolleys opposite ways at the same time and look around.
Was not like this last year and will not be going back this year
G. G.
Great place to shop, but if you plan to stay longer than 3 hours, let the customer services have you car reg. number or you risk an overstay charge...
S. O.
A place to shop for home decor and work stuff. Prices are fair and of good quality. If you see something you like, get it cause you may not find it again. It's that's a long time to restock certain goods.
S. B.
Great quality products, fairly reasonably priced too. wide range of stock plus they now have Iceland inside.
Cafe
Toilets
Plenty of parking
G. W.
I always like shopping at the Range it's large easy to use and not crowded it has a cafe and toilets. I find it relaxing, the quality is better than it used to be all in all quite good
A. B.
This is a great store, I'd give it 5 stars but I've knocked one off for the service. friendly at the till yet when I've asked for help finding a product on the shop floor they always seem disinterested and annoyed I've them interupted them. But, great range of products, cafe is pretty nice and it's good they have Iceland on the premises to so you can do everything in one place
A. H.
Good prices and nice to see an Iceland there
M. S.
Great store, has pretty much everything you need, especially as it has an Iceland store there too. Was busy so the whole social distancing thing wasn't happening but that seems typical of every shop at the moment. Staff always friendly and helpful.
R. C.
Everything under one roof & layed out well only thing that lets it down is the price & quality of the cafe products.
Easy parking. Rest access. Wheelchair friendly
D. S.
I love the RANGE for the range of quality goods they have in store.
m. s.
Great for some things no so good with others 50/50 if they work first time or broken o the world of Chinese imports
C. H.
Nice variety of items available at competitive prices. Had to return something, all sorted full refund no problem.
K. R. H.
Cheerful enthusiastic and helpful staff. Brilliant ,value for money and interesting items. Swift and safe checkout.Just wish i had more money to spend there!
m. t.
Love this shop. Good range of stock able to get stuff for our animals, bits for the house and also do a bit of a food shop. Staff were lovely and helpful. Only let down was the coffee shop.
R. S.
The range always has had a vast array of products in their store, though sometimes I find their queueing to be a little tedious. But overall they have amazing choice at an amazing price, ranging from pet care to home design, arts and crafts to the Iceland store built into their facility. Not to mention their cafe DeeDees which is lovely. And takeaway too
N. W.
Friendly helpful staff, store was well organised. A pleasant experience to shop. I went in for one item and came out with much more! 🤣
L.
Love The Range. The Christmas decorations are great and they’ve only just started putting them out! Bought some beautiful lights and some other bits. Always end up buying things and don’t get me started on the Halloween stuff!!
p. T.
Went to the range to buy a burger press, which they had, and moisturiser, which they did not have. However, touring around the store, seeing glitz and glam everywhere, made me forget all about my parched skin, instead I bought a rather discreet beautiful bowl that fits right into my kitchen, very me x
S. E.
Yeah, they are pretty good. Not a place I am inspired to go but on the other hand, dependant upon what your looking for, you shouldn't dismiss them. Generally cheap and cheerful, not always 'best' quality but what is these days? The guys there are always friendly enough, willing to help, but you will need to ask as they rarely ask you if you need help.
L. T.
This place is huge. You can buy almost anything here. The cafe is good and reasonably priced.
C. P.
Popped in for some bedding plants, came out with a hot tub! The store manager was very helpful and talked us through everything we needed, first class service, very smooth transaction, great place to shop, highly recommended.
O. B.
Large and quiet well stocked, a great range on display too.
Staff are considerate and helpful. Great parking with spaces large enough for most cars.
Even though its busy the size can give it a comfortable feel for shoppers.
A. M.
Huge store. Little detail to where everything is though, my only complaint! Staff friendly and efficient on tills. Cafe seemed great, didn't get q chance to eat there but probably will in future. Store is huge! Iceland is good inside too. Lots of variety for pet supplies.
M. O.
I went in for the first time in this store looking for a certain item, in which they had not got. The staff seem friendly enough and explained they did not do the item I was looking for. They have a excellent Chocolate shelf for Christmas.
J.
Staff were friendly and helpful, shelves well stocked. Pet section was good but the gardening section could have been much better though that could be due to time of year (Autumn). Checkout system could be better, join a single queue and wait for next available checkout. Poor maid on the Till has to call out "Next Customer, please".
M. F.
Not doing nearly enough about the 100 foot queue for tills, been going on for weeks. Great items, great staff but not enough tills, no self-service option. A poor show in the 21st century really.
J. M.
Extremely busy couldn't move around easily & majority of people not wearing mask.Prob wont go again on a Sunday but working full time limits the the times I can go.didnt have anything I went for .
m. f.
I needed a big Christmas tree and lights. Went to the seasonal area which was heaving and asked for advice and assistance. The gents I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful and even carried the very heavy tree down to customer services for me. Another gent helped with getting material, again couldn't be more helpful. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was I was offered help to carry to the car by the gents but when I paid and asked at customer services I was told "they always have great ideas". Basically I had to carry it myself to the car which didn't do much for my back. Up until that point I couldn't fault them. Well done chaps! Keep up the good work 👏 👍
T. R.
First visit. Very nice new building easy access with a car but seemed more difficult if walking and approaching from other side (not tavistock road side). Lift accessible to upstairs cafe and toilets. Bigger than other stores I think, seems weird having an Iceland store in there too but works. Will go back again
A. L.
A good looking new store. Still having building work done, but the actual store is completely finished and up and running. It's easier to get to. The car park is well organised with photo technology in place to stop 'abusive parking. If your stay is longer than 2 hours. Just give your car/van registration to the till staff. Having Iceland situated there also should help a lot of people shopping. An innovative idea. In the past years the Range has improved in it goods quality. It is so much better, and this new store has so much to offer. Well worth visiting.👍👍👍
M. T.
Massive store with just about everything you do and don't need but you'll buy it all anyway. Wide isles ,plenty of willing and helpful staff and shelves stacked with everything from home new kits to fairy wings . Worth an hour's stroll when the weather is against you. covid safe .
D. H.
The head quarters are based here. For some reason they call it their "Global" Headquarters, despite there being no proof of a globe? Water seeks and maintains its level at all scales, the earth is Flat. Great shop got all you need. Great if your staying in the Future Inn as it has a small Iceland in with beer n crisps. P. S SPACE IS FAKE 👍✌️❤️
C. S.
Not just The Range but the 'global HQ'!!!
This place is jam packed full of cheap sparkling stuff. If that's your bag then it'll be fantastic for you!
Cheap for a few essentials but quality isn't what the Range does best.
Apparently they do a tasty cake in the café and parking is easy 😁 now the multi storey is up and running.
E. B.
Lovely thoroughly enjoyed Great selection
J. M.
Brilliant service and very helpful. Got all our garden furniture and wallpaper. Thank you for all the help Shannon.
R. J. (.
Well stocked with affordable items for home and garden
M. M.
Fantastic size store. Good bargain prices and selection of goods. Cafe service could be a little improved as we had thick shakes with the thinnest straws. Toilets could be more for size of store and waste bin for towels was rather small.
S.
Clean, reasonably priced and friendly staff.
Was very impressed with the one cashier who after ringing us up took the time to say hello to my two toddlers and passed them their juices. It's the small acts of kindness that make a massive difference.
K. T.
Good shop with loads to offer.
S. L. D. J. b. t. t. 3.
Very good, although the idiot with a beard in the gardening department wasn't helpful at all when my elderly father needed a heavy item transporting
J. D. S.
This store is conveniently located in the heart of derriford, just off Tavistock road. It has an open car park (note there is a height restriction) located at the front entrance to the store and an underground car park located to the side of the store which uses an escalator to access the front of the store.
The range is very handy for home and garden items such as decorations, furniture, diy, seeds, potted plants, pictures, clocks, bedding, kitchenware, kids toys, arts & crafts, cleaning products and seasonal items.
This particular range has an Iceland within it, which stocks most of the ranges in Iceland and a cafe.
If you haven’t been here before all your items (except cafe) are paid for at the checkouts by the entrance eg if you buy some homeware and then some Iceland items, they are all paid for together.
K. M.
Really good value for craft materials. Great range of stock from luxurious rugs to hot tubs to the smallest household items. The store is large and open, staff friendly and extremely helpful. Bonus Iceland store within!
K.
Very well organised shop with everything you could want from The Range. There is permanently a member of staff on the door to check that covid rules are followed and everyone sanitises their hands. There is good stock of everything including all of the furniture - most small items you can take away the same day.
P. W.
I like to buy a lot of crafting supplies here but the last month or so there has been no stock replenishment on a lot of items which I find very disappointing
s. a. f.
A really good section of "stuff", as you would expect from the range. Convenient to have a large Iceland section in store. Plenty of car parking but could do with some security to keep the local youth from "playing" in the underground car park.
M. S.
Great place huge selection love the addition of the Iceland. Went there for something for the bathroom which turns out they had sold out but nevermind snagged some good deals in the Iceland section instead. Staff always friendly and helpfull. They have a cafe which have used once before was nice but very expensive.
E. T.
Great variety. Love that it has an Iceland. Food in café isn't great (I think it's microwaved) and some of the products to buy aren't great. I returned a make up box because it had mould in it!!! When I returned it, they asked me if I wanted another one so I went and got another one from the shelf (boxed up) and took it to the till to check it an it was also mouldy! Staff who dealt with the situation were brilliant and very apologetic. However, I came to back the day after to find that the mouldy make up boxes had been put back on the shelf!
A. T.
Very good food and utensils in the same place
G. B.
Considering this is attached to the head office I was surprised at some of the stock levels being so low
D. C.
Worth having a wander round, plenty of bargains.
C. A.
Big place, if you have no idea what your going for you'll come out with loads of stuff 🤣 underground parking, outdoor parking, escalator to shop from underground parking, escalator to 2nd floor of shop which at this time of year is dedicated to Christmas.
K. C.
Great store. Love that there's an Iceland to pick up bits too. Would've been five stars buy lost one because they are still selling fireworks, and they are the bane of my life.
T. C.
The staff are always willing to help. Even had one help me out to the car with my very large bag of shopping!
A great place to explore for crafts and homeware and stop for a cuppa and bite to eat. Can even top up on thd food shop! All under one roof. I love it, although always end up spending a small fortune when I visit!
A. B.
It was quite nice in there and they had a lot of stuff but I had a bit of a problem getting around with my mobility scooter because the isles especially to the checkout area were quite narrow
A. M.
Had everything we wanted to get, just seemed to take a while to get through the tills even though there were not many people waiting.
D. G.
Had what I wanted staff were polite and helpful
G. J. (.
I do love going to The Range because they have a brilliant selection of hobbies supplies which I follows.
The Range also has a good range of goods and services to cover almost any topic to kit out your home or garden.
They have plenty of parking space for anyone especially for anyone with a disability.
What I like about The Range is the staff. Every time I have been to their store, every member of staff I have dealt with have gone beyond duty to help me out. I think they are simply FANTASTIC!
C. W.
Lots of random stock, from plates to craft bits and it also has a Iceland in there too. It's one of those handy go to stores for anything. Very clean, staff are helpful and there is also a nice cafe too.
R. J.
Absolutely loved it, felt comfortable as its very suitable for us disabled people. I xoukd have spent hours and hundreds of pounds in the Christmas aisle. Nice little cafe too
R. N.
best range, perfect place for the head office. it has almost everything you need for the house and really great value. some of the staff seem well trained and very knowledgeable. a couple were (sorry to say) a bit dim. all in all above average
H. R.
The new store is very nice the only problem I find is that the aisle arnt wide enough theres only just enough for two trolleys to pass. Watch out for pricing labels as some have the wrong price for the object. I made that mistake and bought something thinking it was the price marked but when I got my receipt I was charged three times more for the item.
G. R.
This is Chris Dawsons latest shop and is very impressive. As a wheelchair user it is well laid out and very easy to navigate compared to some of his other shops. As usual there is a wide range of products, a spacious cafe and an Iceland department selling a very wide range of produce. As usual the staff are eager to please and cannot be faulted. Shop here with confidence.
C. T.
Doesn't really have any children's curtains and the café was disappointing for cake and food choices. They do some nice Christmas decorations though.
B. S.
Owner of this place is an absolute toss pot and likes to flex his wealth and pay his employees very little. The employees however were very friendly and helped me pack my stuff into my trolly. Had a gent with glasses today who served me, great customer service provided by him , thank you guys !
a. c.
Parking was easy albeit visit was mid week so parking may be an issue at weekends. Had a list of items to buy which was listed on the website unfortunately staff despite having seen the items could not locate them thought it has only been open a fortnight. Some staff were very helpful while others just pointed "over that way".
The store has a large selection of bedding and pictures but not a wide selection of other products. Not convinced I will be driving past the Plymstock Range to go to the Derriford Range.
B. B.
Did not have the item I wanted in stock but the store is vast with a lot of things that I am sure people will need or want. Parking was easy.
R. S.
Has all the tippicle brickabrack and homeware. A decent sized seasonal area.
Translators and a customer lift, toilets and cafe. Free parking for 3 hours max.
S. H.
Average goods sold by a greedy market trader
a. c.
It was extremely busy waiting to pay, then my items which were marked down specials didn't go through at marked down price so young girl on till had to call someone, the person surely arrived from the Customer Service Desk, she was dealing with several enquiries at the same time as well as having a queue at her desk, my problem was sorted after a few minutes and the two assistants were wonderful.
I really do think that there needs to be more than one person at the Customer Service desk and maybe ( as in supermarkets etc ) a roving supervisor which would alleviate problems like today
s. j.
Wide range of household items, many reasonably priced, plus now an instore Iceland section for basic groceries and frozen food. Lots of parking. Remember to turn right at the roundabout unless you're looking to get a Covid-19 test..
N. W.
Expensive for a lot of things won't be going back in a hurry
P. W.
Big sore and there world wide headquarters. It has just about everything you may need from DIY materials to pet equipment and food, bedding curtains and all the accessories you will need to hang them. There is an Iceland within the store an a sizable cafe with excellent social distanced tables. Toys, Christmas decorations, hot tubs, furniture you name it they have it.
N. H.
Handy for where I live in Estover for random household and DIY stuff. Never expect it to be the best quality for good enough for what I need. Great for storage tubs and units too
A. G. T.
This seems to be the head office store. It is very new and very large and shows what the company is aiming for. It includes a branch of Iceland and enlarged departments of the Range's usual products. The store is impressive. A visit is necessary to appreciate it.
C. L.
A wide....range...of things to choose from. From house utensils to beach umbrellas. A times it can get a bit crowded but nothing too dramatic. There is also a good selection of garden stuff from fences small and large, composts, flower and vegetables seeds, toys and much more.
B. D.
Great store with Iceland inside with very Frindly staff
The shop is still being built with a underground car park being made and new head office... This shop is huge and I'm surprised with how much stuff there is in here. We also met Chris here and gave us a nice welcome to his store I will defiantly come back here again.
J. B.
Love the shop , easy to get around in my wheelchair , and they supply wheelchairs which are very good and a great size as not every one is small , like many of the other wheelchairs in other shops , and there is a vast choice of beautiful items to choose from, excellent in my opinion 😀
L. R.
Everything you need, for everywhere.cream tea at cafe no strawberry jam. Not to busy staff polite.
T. I.
Big place and nice new building. Took ages to get a trolley as the last one was broke and was connected to all the rest. However, they came and sorted ut out in the end. Its got an Iceland to so you can get everything in one place. Recommended
M. B.
D'ranged as it should be known, good really, staff are polite, prices reasonable, great amount of tat to fill your home, check out the massive clocks and picture the scene when one falls off the wall and sends grandad into the afterworld! man we'd laugh
M. G.
First time visiting and I was amazed at how big the store is, didnt spend much time in the store itself as just wanted a few things and left but the cafe is very big, bottom floor is vast and the top floor has a lot of products too.
M. D.
Plenty of stock big store but didn't buy anything as we found it a bit expensive store. Maybe it's the area inflates prices but we are from the Midland and we use the range regular.
C. S.
Had everything I needed and nice place to browse around. Quite busy but queuing not too long as staff very organised.
A. P.
Good range of bedding and good quality.
b. r.
The Christmas decorations and displays look amazing. Very cheery look to the place. Just what we all need. A lovely jolly pick me up
K. L.
Staff are lovely, well stocked and a a bit of everything available for everyone. Some great bargains and with iceland being there now its ideal
S. C.
Would be five stars if there was Parent and Child car park spaces. Everything you need but....An Iceland in the corner? Not sure this is needed. I didn't try the coffee shop, as we went to the Plymstock one once for a bacon bap, it looked awful, a dry several hours old cold bacon roll. So this put me off, this one at Derriford might be nice.
C. B.
I didn't realise it was so big
J. W.
Not so organised and tidy as plymstock
Could find any staff in furniture section to place an order.
Some furniture the back was hanging off the wardrobes
Displays scratched
Not very good presentation.
I went back to plymstock and ordered from a very very helpful young man called Nathan.
L. S. A.
Some great stuff at great places!
This range has brung alot to plymouth including jobs.
I've been there twice. It's always very tidy and the staff are friendly.
It lacks on some ranges such as vintage looking stuff as alot of it its quite modern looking. I specifically went in looking for vintage looking items but didn't see much.
Apart from that a great store.
S. B.
A very wide range of both home furnishings and kitchen and bathroom goods, they also have garden products, plants and furniture good prices and value for money
A. W.
Very good, no complaints, lovely Indonesian lady called Ari's assisted us when we requested help. Nothing was to much trouble. Possibly last Friday evening. All in all a good experience
B. B.
Great store with everything you need. The interview process is great and the staff are lovely.
p. n.
The range has a very large selection of goods reasonably priced for all over the home. With the added bonus of an iceland attached its almost a one stop shop.
J. P.
Never enough staff on the tills, but plenty around talking.
S. R.
Good Store but they need to give more help or a large payrise to the ladies at the customer service desk. They dont seem to stop, doing 100 thing all at once with what seems to be little help. Seems like management have forgotten that they employ humans not robots.
b. b.
Trying to contact to arrange a days charity collection is impossible
S. J.
I think the place is so well layer out and very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. Am definitely going back before Xmas and will be shopping there from now on. One of the best places to shop.
S. M.
Amazing big shop,
Staff friendly and approachable, although my checkout woman didn't engage conversation or eyesight with me, continued chatting to another staff member, forgot to take tag of item of clothing.
S. M.
Great value for money, diverse selection of products, good quality products . Friendly helpful staff.
A. S.
Very well stocked because the store is big it doesn't seem to make you nervous during the pandemic as there is lot's of space one thing i will say is the range is not always cheap can buy cheaper elsewhere but still good
J.
Great parking with disabled parking next to the entrance. The store is big with plenty of ventilation. Lots of beautiful items in the store. This is the best store in my opinion from the three stores in plymouth.
N. T.
Good Size plenty of product one of the first range to have an Iceland food hall inside good touch road out side a bit of a plain but that has unfortunately nothing to do with the range
E. H.
Big store, lots of parking, huge selection of goods at reasonable prices well worth a visit
S. U.
Aladin's Cave and you'd be hard pushed to find a better Christmas selection anywhere else....baubles of every colour and shape imaginable there!!
G. D.
Hq. slightly different from usual Range. Has Iceland and a mezzanine with even more "interesting" goods for sale. Always seems quite busy. Long waits at cafe and tills. Underground car park not yet open. Ramped travellators seem a little steep. Overall, it's another Chris Dawson Store, just BIGGER.
S. B.
Had a simple breakfast and although they were out of stick of what I wanted the staff were very helpful.
G. C.
Love going to the Range, load's of bargains to be had. We also use the Iceland part of it all the time, great frozen food shop. Would highly recommend.
P.
This place is huge, This was my first time at a Range. My Wife loved it, I not so much. It was like a huge b and m, nothing wrong with that in itself, but nothing revolutionary. It did have an Iceland, which made it better.
J. P.
Good budget home store, staff are helpful and friendly. Make sure when picking up a click and collect order that you bring photo ID!
M. H.
Probably the best of the Range shops, it has absolutely everything and is a lot more cleaner than some of the other stores 👍 Just remember to close your car windows as instructed upon entering the car park as the Coronavirus testing area is opposite.
M. W.
This place is huge! Even includes an Iceland! Pace yourself although there's a cafe if you need a caffeine boost.
J. T.
Brilliant range of goods, also a bonus being able to do a food shop at Iceland. Staff lovely and helpful, thank you
S. L.
One of the Ranges newest stores to open with lots of floor space and plenty of great bargains to be had for the home and garden, there's a lovely cafe and plenty of car parking space and there's even an Iceland in store and the staff are friendly and helpful.
A. T.
It's the Global Headquarters for the Range, with a store this big and underground parking what's not to like?
G. S.
New shop top of the range covers most things frozen food ice lands diy electric goods pet supplies coffee shop plus a good size car park no charge plus some furniture all round stationery
G. B.
Me and my daughter usually buy artist, drawing, Painting equipment and supplies from here, not cheap, but happy with quality and price.
K. H. (.
Good, just like the other Range in Plymouth for products, but I prefer the other store for the layout, as this store seemed like a bit of a maze at times. It was also not very well signposted to get to the car park especially if you don't know the Derriford area very well. Would go again but probably only if I was up that way I would prefer the original one across Laira bridge near Morrisons.
A. A.
Outstanding, South beautiful and bigger compare to Leicestershire. I was amazed, satisfied and family love it. Highly recommend a visit.
M. D.
Great shop with a range of things to buy but a few staff are a bit funny but you get that everywhere
M. P.
It's well stocked with Christmas bits and pieces, just keep an eye out on the prices ie shelf tags and item tags may not match got caught out at the tills.
J. B.
Great shop but need lots of time to get around it as so big
a. s.
Easy access. Sloping escalator for trolleys. Large selection. Iceland store incorporated. Cafe. Ample parking. Easy to get to. Pleasant staff. Clean and tidy.
C. W.
Fairly decent size store with two different levels as well as an Iceland Inside staff are generally well mannered and positive
L. C.
Enjoyed mosying around, the cafe was very good too.
Only missed the turning into the carpark and ended up driving around till we got on the same side of the road as there was no turning lane from the other direction.
Perhaps a sign up with a warning that the turn was coming up would be good.
M. G.
Lots of lovely decorations for Christmas and, Iceland is in store plenty of selection for meal ideas, and everything else you need for home.
T. P.
Vast store, with good parking.
U. F.
We went for a square picture frame, not available anywhere......so far...but found it here. Success. Clean, tidy, staff on duty to monitor arrivals and departures. Good.
t. n.
There is definately a WOW Factor when entering the building its an amazing store .
Our trainer is so knowledged & has known everything we've asked .
Lovely staff very helpful.
Derriford your store is a credit to you all
p. f.
Great size store lot's to browse through
S.
Well designed store. Mostly good value. Check the total at the till - every time I have shopped there I would have been overcharged had I not worked the bill out in advance.
B. C.
Brillaint store with a lot of stock! Staff were helpful with trying to find our way around. Did however need to point out that a number of price tags was in Euro instead of sterling.
i. h.
Extensive stock
Was looking to purchase furniture , bed and dining set
Lots to choose from
Just nothing that suited our style
D. a. R. P.
Big, two storey home store. Plenty of choice, but i still couldn't find one item I wanted from their website. Clean and well enforced Covid provisions.
C. C.
Nice store layout, but they did not have the wallpaper we wanted
K. e.
A bit more expensive then b&m or home bargains. Don't think quality is any better really just slightly different products comparing to other shops.
K. C.
An very nice place to shop with my friends and family and kdo the range has all the items and helpful staff in our local store an very happy customer 😀
R. H.
Its the Range, same as the others. Loads of great offers. Staff seem a liitle miserable, maybe they were just busy. Restaurant staff were very friendly, coffee and caramel short bread cake was really nice
S. P.
A very pleasant shopping experience. I saw the Christmas decorations which is very exciting seeing all the sparkly items which makes me and my grandchildren Happy.
P. H. &. C. B.
A very impressive large store with excellent selection of products on offer.
Good parking, easy access, disabled friendly.
J. H.
Went ere yesterday .to look at the xmax decoration. There was loads to choice from we went out to the Crownhill one . Had a coffee but the coffee wasnt very gd and the girl who served didnt have a gd customer service. She couldnt make my decafe latte probably. So only drank half a cup .my partner asked for a lattee and got his with skimmed milk.didnt realised that till he started drinking it so we both left our coffees and was disappointed .wont be drinking there again.
P. C.
Good value on a number of high standard products. Occasionally long queues at checkout but they always call extra staff on so never have to wait long
C. N.
Good range of stock at competitive prices good Christmas stock and displays. It also has a good cafe too.
J. M.
Great service great staff great prices well worth a visit xxx
L. S.
Ok for stuff you dont know you need and for stuff you dont really want but buy anyway.... like a modern day woolworths but not as much fun
k. b.
A normal range the garden center part not very big and it's a shame the in house cafe shut over an hour before the shop does. Seems very cramped and a lot put into a small space doesn't seem as big as on in Plymstock and doesn't seem to stock as much. Its shame as it is ment to be there head office branch.
A. W.
Big store, can find anything and everything here! Prices vary but still quite cheap. Lovely café also when Covid isn't a thing
G. V.
Just a fleeting visit on this occasion but a very good selection of wares to choose from with friendly helpful staff. I will make a point of returning when I have more time on my hands. Successfully acquired what I needed where an alternative (sometimes controversial) privately owned location nr Liskeard failed this time.
A. C.
Good Range of stuff. Good car park too. Great staff. Iceland is in there. Plan dinner whilst buying a screw remover and a box.
c. t.
Tidy ,clean well stocked, nothing really extra to other stores, have noticed some ranges ( no pun intended) have been reduced, cheaper products than a few years ago, maybe me, but not quite the choice now, as said seems more profit driven than having goods no one else has, no complaints though, cafe was good value, and airy
J. A.
Very helpful staff, we couldn't find the light we wanted on the shelf and the helpful employee on the click and collect desk found it in the warehouse for us!
K. B.
The Range lives up to its name as it has a wide Range of products all under one roof, great facilities, one could easily spend a few hours here. Great car park to boot.
G. C.
. Very good, first time for the new store. Staff very helpful and polite. Toilet down on ground level ok.Up stairs toilets out of order. Good parking and plentiful it was Sunday
S. R.
MASSIVE!! this store has everything and more, helpful staff and great variety of items
N. H.
Huge store good value virtually everything one needs.
S. D.
Brilliant as always everything you could need check out very slow on service
j. w.
Just a standard range but the space id not optimised well, the iceland inside is not very big atall, would definetly struggle to do a full shop as half of what you want is probably not stocked
M. J.
So much choice and loved being able to food shop at the end of our visit.
M. M.
A very pleasant afternoon shopping.
L. G.
Great coffee, garden products, household items and food. Lots of parking. Thank you.
K. H.
Huge store. Brand new clean feel. Lots of variety of products and an outside garden section. Easy access from the main road and plenty of parking
s. b.
Really lovely shop. Lots to see and buy. Garden centre as well. Lots of space and a cafe.
A. W.
Fantastic range of products at great prices. Good Covid controls, without being obtrusive. Huge Christmas range on the top floor too.
L. S.
I only had 2 things on my list one was out of stock. But still managed to fill a trolley. Instead of saying do I need it I say would I like it. First visit. X
S. D.
staff I spoke to very unhelpful even though the product I was after was in stock and in store would not go to warehouse to look so ended up ordering it online no problem at all
S. W.
I get a lot of my plants there for my garden and there all ways changing up the stock with new things. Perfect for your daily supplies
D. M.
Nice big store with Iceland inside. Has both under and above ground parking
G. 1.
Been to the range a number of times ..But today we were making Enquiries about FLY screens .. We approached a young floor assistant l Believe his name is KIERON.. The enthusiasm HE showed to help us ..TOP ASSISTANT.. More like him in Your stores please .. He gets 5 stars ...
J. P.
We came here after visiting several other places in Plymouth This was to look for 3 glass lampshades There were only 2 available of the design we wanted but a very helpful team member suggested either ordering to collect in store or trying their other store, which we did
L. B.
Huge retail store, a bit difficult to find what you are looking for, but the staff were very helpful.
P. P.
Lovely exciting something new every time we are there plus Iceland as well. Also underground parking if you wish great day out cafe aswell hooray
A. W.
A great variety of household items, from furnishings to bedding, gardening and DIY.
There is also a large ICELAND section, with lots of frozen and fresh meals.
P. S.
I went for 8 particular plants and some planters and got exactly what I wanted- easily, quickly and more cheaply than I anticipated. Thank you
C. W.
Great place for all items I need for all seasons, also has a handy Iceland shop so I didn't have to go to a supermarket.
M. Z.
Everything in one. Dee Dee's restaurant was total dissapointment. All they are selling is overpriced sandwiches and sloppy pizza. Very nicely suprised with Iceland. Range shop is what you can expect from every other Range shops.
A. D.
Ok some of it is tacky but the vast majority of the items are excellent value the staff are happy and friendly and I guarantee you will always find something you didn't realise you needed 🙂
A. J.
Just fabulous merchandise at foldable prices, How the store is dressed so that you can choose with Confidence that any item you have will go in the garden or in the home with admiration definitely have a look and see for yourself
E. C.
Smashing shop... could have filled 6 trolleys at least, lol. Prices are fab, friendly staff, good parking. Loved the cafe, again great staff
K. T.
Beautifully decorated & well presented store with the Christmas theme & all the shop well stocked with a good variety of products. The staff very helpful all
J. L.
The Range's new HQ and superstore
The new Range nerve centre will have an underground car park and a penthouse office where chainstore king Chris Dawson will be able to survey his retail domain from a balcony.
The £25million head office, training academy and superstore, is being built at Seaton Hill in Derriford.
The 7,000sq m office block HQ will be at right angles, looking towards the Future Inn.
It has three floors high, but have a fourth floor on one corner – a penthouse office with a balcony.
A “link” building will connect the offices to the superstore which will have a cafe on the upper floor.
Tucked away out of sight at the back will be the car park and even more out of sight will be an underground car park with travelators.
The intention is to move 250 staff from Mr Dawson's current, overcrowded HQ, at Estover’s Airport Business Park, and create 570 jobs too, including 120 store workers.
The new store will boast 70,000sq ft of retail space spread over two floors and includes a Dee Dee’s Family Café and large outdoor garden centre.
The Derriford branch will have a large furniture department displaying “room sets” for customers to see what products will look like at home.
It also carry the complete Iceland Foods offering, including fresh food, bakery, store cupboard and alcohol.
Not finished yet, but it looks great already.
G. W.
It is huge, could do with a map like trago, 3 hour limit on parking is it enough if you have a leisurely lunch ,?? Takes a long time to take it all in, well worth a visit.

The staff are very helpful, however goods not up to standard, it seemed returns were put back on shelves for sale, resold and broken or not working.

Just the same as the rest of their store nothing different at all. Could do with having more tills open as the queue was meandering around the store and only two tills open with plenty of spare staff stood around talking about their personal lives even the manager was stood talking about nothing that concerned the store.

The range is the range nothing different same old ornaments all shiney and tacky.same old problem with sawdust never got any. I do like the idea of Iceland being in it . The staff need a shaking up. Three were talking yesterday and I caught one lady saying I'm going it looks like this lady is going to ask a question so she went and pretended to do something else. When the call went out for the third time to go to tills.

I love your store and visit once or twice a week and have always found it a pleasure to shop there , I regret to say today l bought amongst other items a rather large fish tank, I was unable to trolly it to my car and I understand that , but when I ask how I would get it too my car I was told to carry it, I am 82 partially sighted and walk with some difficulty, think some help would have been nice, that aside the store is very good

Could have done with a couple more months to finish off the work still pending. . Dangerous overflow parking . . Will be lovely when complete, but for now it feels rushed and a little tatty in areas. . .
