Reviews of The Range
S. C.
Good store, recently expanded and upgraded. Lots of tills which are actually open and operational unlike big supermarkets.
Staff are helpful, prices are good and massive variety covering more or less everything a household ever need.
And yes, they have Iceland in there too ( the frozen grocery store).
H. T. D. A.
All in all it's worth shopping there as there is a great variety of items for sale, but be aware of a few letdowns or disappointments. We found that quite a few items were not priced, so they obviously don't work to a logical system. Also, the checkout queues can be quite long.
It has gone somewhat downmarket but it's still worth a visit.
V. D.
Love this shop. Great prices for photo frames, small bits for house andany other items. Love deco for house. Its very good store.
p.
Got my dog's biscuits which I can seemingly only get here & bird food really good value.
A. L.
Great choice of products, most reasonably priced. Just a minor moan; could use some more choice for round tablecloths, only one size was available. Very helpful staff and easy to find one. Efficient checkout service, no waiting.
M. A.
Excellent customer service, staff always polite and helpful and at the moment it's Halloween heaven.
M. Z.
You can find more or less many varieties of products. You might say prices are reasonable but quality reminds me of £ land.
H. J.
I think this place is a mix between Homebase and Poundstretcher. Prices are very reasonable and they have a lot of artificial flowers for people like me looking for wedding bits. The wedding section could be a little bigger, but the had what I needed.
r. c.
The Range is now opposite B&Q in the old smaller B&Q down the Lower high street Watford,
It sells a very good range of products for home and garden and pet's included too,
It also incorporates a Iceland,
Worth a visit.
D. R.
We do enjoy this place. Every time we get there we feel like there are endless possibilities of redoing our home and garden deco.

The Range always reminds me of Dr Who's Tardis, once you step in there you can be lost for ever. What I love about "The Range" is that it's filled with many inspiring things' and as an Artist we're very difficult to please but it does get your creativity flowing and you can see and imagine how things will look in your home. That's the magic of "The Range" and what is really, clever about it is that its priced pretty much to suit everyone's pocket.
I'm glad it has a café, as that allows me to take a break anytime I want to catch a second wind, to have another bite of the apple while I'm there. It's a great place to get ideas, but again, you have to be sensible with your money and prioritise even more so now with the financial squeeze we are all facing.
g. 1.
great range, iceland opening on friday which is really handy and convenient and the shelves in iceland are already very well stocked bearing in mind its only wednesday and they are opening on friday. The range also has alot of items in stock and lots for all different needs and purposes
T. Z.
Good option to park, the shop itself has a variety of household goods and surprisingly houses some frozen food from Iceland, Greg's,etc.
v. a.
Nice place I had taken an product I didn't like it so had gone to returned it the staff was nice did everything smoothly....
G. G.
Not the best Range. Quite small and not a large selection of furniture etc. But you may find some items you need for decor and cleaning.
T. I.
This Range is new and huge. Not sure the layout works, maybe it's still finding it's feet. Always fair prices and definitely lots to look at.
j.
Great place to shop if your designing a room and you need inspiration.
Would highly recomend.
R. S.
This store has massively improved since it first opened. It's now massive and staff are lovely
M. P.
A bit chaotic at the moment as they are expanding. A good range of products for decent priced. We got some bird food and a feeder pole which appears to work well so far.
T. K.
Can be a bit tight to navigate trolley with alleys blocked, but overall a good selection of things
D. M.
It's nice and new.... don't have as much stock there as the old store, but it is half the size.
A. G.
Lovely big store with great selection of products.
T. ..
There was ample amounts of plastic, cheap goods to clog up the entire ocean. Who needs fish?
Also, where’s all the unicorn tat? We demand unicorn tat!
T. 2.
A great RANGE of products at down to earth prices. There's even a small Iceland in this branch.
M. W.
Excellent low cost range with quality compromise . Good arts and crafts offer including Windsor & Newton. Good easy parking.
R. R.
Very large store. Has most things you will need. Prices very reasonable. Well worth a visit.
T. R.
Great selection of products at affordable prices with the addition of home and garden products!
C. A.
Laid out very strangely. Quite messy and no toilets for public use. Weird in and out system which makes you walk the qhole shop to be able to get out? Does not make sense
H. R.
Good to visit and grab if you found ,they have huge christmas stock now and like many things as very much attractive and rare
L. E.
Love the range. Even though shop was busy no queue at tills.
J. S.
Outside garden area is very small. Car park is shared with B & Q and is not very well laid out.
g. h.
Excellent selection of homeware. Great prices. Good selection to create an eclectic atmosphere at your party or event.
K. D.
Huge collection of variety of items of all needs for all ages, however price might be little costly, nice place to look for your needs under one roof.
J. S.
It's even better in its new location. Well stocked and staff are friendly and helpful
S. C.
Always find something pretty and that I probably don't even need 😅
D. M.
Always been a great store, smaller store not so good as feels very mix match,BUT found out they are taking over the old B&Q warehouse hopefully by end of year, so very much looking forward to a great new fresh store.
N. L.
First time visiting The Range. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great store for home accessories.
D. D.
Always find bargain and good prices. Its good to have Iceland in this store now.
R. G.
You should know what you're getting when you go into The Range, and that is frankly everything. From supplies for decorating to pet products and more it really has it all. Prices are reasonable and there is enough of quality to visit again.
S. B.
Very helpful service from the staff. Friendly and smiling.
A. V.
Great place to find something you had no idea you needed until you saw it.
S. C.
The staff there was very nice the store was set out nicely not as big as the one in watford but had all
m. g.
Very good storr. So much to look for. Loads of choices...
G.
Really friendly prices, wide range of product. Pleasant staff
R. L.
Was okay, abit messy, staff not so helpfull either
L. A.
Nowhere near as good as the previous North Watford location but altogether, not too bad
T. H.
Lovely bright shop with reasonable prices
D. J.
Lovely range of products. Very helpful staff. Although this is smaller than other Ranges they are extending it. Very easy to park too.
c. s.
The range is now fully open and is the perfect place to shop with lots on offer and not that expensive
J. K.
Feels like the old site had more stuff not sure about the layout on this one either
A. G. E. A.
Amazing. It’s like being a kid in a candy store.
K. V.
Its not as big as other branches. Its good for seasonal and decorating needs. Art and craft supply and thr prices are really good. Great place for kitchen supplies too.
Z. N.
First very big parking , all you ned for house ,craft etc you can find in the Range, plas after shopping you can drive through Costa shop.
J. W.
Popped in this afternoon to get a few thing's. Lot's of thing's for Halloween and Christmas .
J. R.
Very nice place for home furnishings
D. G.
Very tidy shop with great products.
Staff were very helpful.
Loved the fact that they are open till 8pm.
L. S.
I've always loved The Range but since its moved its not the same. Too small inside, not a lot of room to walk down the aisle, shame
S. K.
Well stocked with a wide range of well priced products.
Will go there again
J. P.
Very difficult to really see things clearly as the shop is so cramped. I am sure it will be better once extended.
s. l.
Love the products I can buy at the Range. It is a shame they had to relocate. I use to pass the Range on my way home from work. Now its a little out of my way on the lower high street.
D. C.
One of those shops that sells immensely fun and aesthetically pleasing items for the house that never really live up to being hugely practical.
For example, I'd love to have a lamp in the style of a photo studio tripod light thing, but I imagine the tripod has a large footprint and the light is more spotlight than lamp!
Great fun to walk around though and there are genuinely good bargains.
G. I.
Smaller store than the old one and I'm presuming not fully stocked yet. But has got potential
C. M.
Beautiful stuff in there at really good prices. Staff are really friendly
A.
Really clean, had a good choice of all household essentials and more. Definitely going back.
O.
Good shopping for home decoration and home accessories etc
N. P.
Good range of things and value for money, never been here before so was surprised to see how much they sell
J. P.
Always more in there than I expect, and I overheard one of the staff saying, that they are expanding into the next building. So its going to be bigger with more choice
Z. H.
Good stuff if you know what you want but there is never any staff anywhere. Prices are often missing on items or incorrect.
G. W.
I brought pots for the garden. They are just what I wanted. The Range is cheep (inexpensive) and cheerful. Better than the pound store with a more reliable range of goods. I shop there for the items that main stream shops don't stock all year round. Their art and crafts area looks good even though I haven't bought anything from that range.
R. J.
I went to The Range, Watford for the first time today as my daughter recommended that it was worth a visit. I was pleasantly surprised at the "range" of goods available for the home and garden and spent far more than I had intended to so!! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Gavin for helping in locating the hammock I wanted and then loading all my shopping to my car, with another staff member, Jordan. I will definitely be back!!
S. S.
Good selection and now has an Iceland too!
J. S.
Some items were unpriced some items were wrongly priced and I was charged more than stated on the label. Some useful items of the two Roses I bought one was already dead. They do have some different items however. You need to check the prices particularly at the till.
L. Z.
Perfect for homeware, their garden and pet range is brilliant. Always value for money.
I go in for dog food and usually come out with extra bags of goodies. I love The Range.
D. M.
Not as good as the old store and the stocks of a number of products have been run down. May improve when bedded down.
A case of digit Extractus for the management with Christmas looming.
J. R.
The Range carries a very large variety of products at good prices. You can quite easily find items and ideas to decorate entire rooms in any style. The assortment of products is excellent and the staff here are friendly and helpful. Parking here is no problem and the store also has toilet facilities, a cafe, as well as an outdoor garden centre section.
C. L.
Good experience, nice staff, lots of home ware.
J. E.
It's a very big store with everything you could ever need for your home at very reasonable prices. They also have a very big hobby department that puts Hobbycraft to shame. There's plenty of free parking right in front of the doors, too and it's easy to get to as it's on a major road, both by car or on foot.
S. C.
Love the range for inspiration on gifts. Very average quality but you get what you pay for. The bed linen have very good sales and they are good quality.
For chocolate gifts etc it is over priced for what you get. Supermarkets offer better quality and price.
J. M.
Spoke to john on furniture about a small unit (Apollo side table).an if he would Build it for me at my Home. He replied No because of the Corona virus and we are on tier 4 he can not risk it.
He told me to come back Saturday afternoon for it as he would build it in his own time.
Came back Saturday and it was all ready for me he even loaded it in my car
Offered him a Tip which he refused he said just give a nice review.
Well done young man
A. P.
Quite small. St Albans has a far better range although I understand this store is due for expansion so that should be good!
M. B.
Dissapointed that there was no cafe facilitys nice store well stocked
m. a.
All the usual home and outdoor stuff plus a cafe and helpful staff
n. k.
As Range store go this is a smaller version so choice of stock is limited.
Do yourself a favour and find a bigger store to visit.
L. S.
Who doesn’t love The Range?
Go in for one thing come out with several. I wish everything was priced as sometimes it is very hard to find a member of staff. Some of the arts and crafts aisles need smartening up. Other than that great store.
M. S.
Good parking and toilets there too which a bonus with kids if u shop a while. Good selection reasonably priced which is nice and a huge variety of goods stocked here. Also has a cafe which is a bit pricey but these places often are. The staff are generally friendly and help u to car if necessary. At Christmas they have great decorations at a fraction of the cost I've seen them on sale in other places.
K. W.
Went there for the coffee shop. Okay, prices are reasonable, selection of goodies and I think some savoury items. Plenty of seating, I would be happy to return. Rest of the store is rather a mixed bag, you might find something you are after or never knew you needed!
P. G.
Good shop but is very cramped at the moment, when the other unit is refurbished it will be good again.
M. M.
Today I visited the range, I spied the Halloween section and was, to put it mildly very impressed.
Comparing this years items from that of other years, I would have to say that this year was by far the best selection all round. Congratulations the range.
I purchased a Halloween skull telephone with an in built sensor. Any movement at all and the phone picks up the movement, the phone in turn rings and begins to converse
Aaargh !!!
s. s.
Lovely place to get all your household decoration things and nik naks
D. T.
Good place to buy a lots of thinks at a convenabile price
W. F.
Very well stocked with all sorts from bleach to Christmas decorations....even a good cup of coffee in small cafe on first floor(lift) + even more items for sale up there. Good prices would highly recommend......
D. A. T. E.
Sadly it's closing 😥
Moving to retail park bushey arches (opens 25th June) sale on, loads of empty shelves and clutter everywhere. Does have a restaurant and bathroom (didn't use either) disabled bay near entrance. Staff were oblivious to customers, walking around and shouting at one another, no eye contact or warmth, even seems fed up at checkout, hope they will be looked after when the store finally shuts.
C. M.
Friendly staff good selection of products plant range was a little disappointing
P. H.
Plenty of parking, free for 3 hours. Everything you could want for the home whether it decor, cleaning or furniture etc plus crafting bits, soft furnishings, pets and garden.... So much under one roof. All at reasonable price points.
Z. H.
Lovely store as always! Plenty of choice and at a range of prices (hence the name). The quality has always held up at home and I enjoy the shopping experience as well. A bit of a queue up on busier days but plenty of space in store to browse
N. B.
Very limited variety of products
Should become better when they renovate
G. M.
Love this shop always have unique stuff for my kitchen would like if the garden centre had a better selection of vegetable seeds.
E. W.
It was my first time visiting the Range in Watford. We went for bridal stuff but there were not many to choices. We got other things one was USB rechargeable batteries which I was not looking for. I posted it to Trinidad. I also got cabbage plants and have already planted them i will see the outcome of them. I will visit the Range again even though it's a bit a long way to go.
D. B.
The customer services girl, was a delight - she cheered up a toddler in the queue ahead of me, when the parent looked defeated and guessed my need to return an item. She was funny and polite - a joy to be served by someone so obviously happy in her work.
N. H.
Working on updating the garden I finding it difficult to find decorative slate / pebbles the range had good variety at good price as well as stocking additional garden good s has a good car park the aisles felt little cramped and level of service varied depending on who you asked.
J. W.
Free parking for 2 hours and a huge store which you could spend that time in. They has so much for your home and garden. Every room is covered as well as arts and craft stuff and they even has stuff for pets. They cater for outside with pots and planters plus BBQ and inflatable pools and other furniture. Mirrors, pictures, the list goes on and the prices are quite good on some items, average on others. Just needs a coffee shop!
A. S.
Lots of choice and lots of different things from stationary to cookware to furniture and electrical and much more. Mixed price budgets too.
M. R.
*They stock some nice items but the layout can be improved
*Shelves are messy and it can be difficult or impossible to find the price of an item
I would give 5* if the above weren't an issue as it ruins the whole shopping experience
Plenty of parking
Staff at tills are nice and polite
A. P. (.
Lots of different stuff... and cheap prices, i just live this store
H. J.
It's a little bit like a modern version of the old "Woolworths" with lots of reasonably priced, domestic goods, but not aspiring to high end stuff... With TK Max next door, you could have some shopping 'fun' (?) and come away with some bargains - if you search long enough!
M. O.
Suitable range of items available, though some without pricing, staff not wearing masks- but even I am unsure if the government have changed this rule recently. Generally overcrowded with products placed in boxes and such at ends of aisles, which means it is awful to get pushchairs around the store in places. Parking is alright though. Just watch you don't spend too long in-store as there is a limit of two hours for parking, and it's by camera as you enter and exit, so no dodging that.
A. P.
Huge range of items, obviously lol the layout could be a bit better it starts to get a bit confusing and there are no signs above so you end up just walking through every aisle and leaving with the whole store haha will definitely go back again
Y. S.
My 2 year old daughter and I where upstairs and she walked straight into a big heavy glass mirrored table knocking it over with a almighty bang. She cried and within minutes staff came rushing up explaining he was first aid trained etc. This made me feel very happy knowing we where in safe hands luckily she was fine. 2 other staff followed him up and they where so friendly and comforting just what I needed as it was stressful enough my other 2 children had ran off. Very efficient and friendly! Wish I took the guys name but of you see this thankyou so much!
J. S.
The way management treat staff is unreal.
One person from upstairs had to carry a 30kg parasol weight on his own.
Me being a nurse voiced my concerns about his welfare to the store manager because he looked unwell.
I could see he had Glaucoma but no one help the poor man.
M. V. T.
Wounderful place
J. J.
Many prices missing in garden area (as usual) but otherwise this place always surprises me with literally the enormous range (yes I know) that it offers. From DIY to curtains and plants to pet food, even rugs to garden furniture... and can stop for a cuppa too. Good prices generally too.
F. r.
I hate this place lol. I always say I'm just looking and end up with a boot load of stuff I didn't know I needed. It's kind of like B and M on a larger scale. You never really know what you want or need but the shop will sure enough let you know what you need lol
N. R.
This is a very decent range store. Massive over two floors. Plenty of parking. Can easily spend over an hour here. Everything you need for home ware.
L. A.
Two huge floors for all sorts of things you need for home decoration. Costumes, kitchen utensil, household items, luggage and countless other things. Anything I need for the home, I am pretty sure I can find here at an affordable price. They also sell interesting alternative brands alongside popular brands. I'll definitely recommend. There's also a cafe on the upper floor and food is in keeping with store policy of being affordable.
K. W.
Nice new shop with loads of new products.
S. H.
Fabulous store with lots of beautiful things for the home
K. J.
Love the Range. There's free parking. Loads of craft items for the home. Furniture, lighting, curtains, gardening, kitchen, outdoor clothing, shampoos etc lotions and some makeup. Only downside was the Cafe which was a little too expensive and the cups weren't that clean as there were stains on the sides of the cups.
D. G. M.
The Range offers a wide variety of items for the home and garden, but also sells craft items, books, dvds, toys and much more.
There were plenty of staff on hand and the small cafe was reasonably priced.
I did find that there was no real order to the layout and that signage wasn't very clear. However, going up to the first floor gave you an excellent view of the shop, almost in its entirety, which was helpful.
K. C.
Should have stayed where they were not as big not much on the shelves may be better when they open the other part
V.
Always something to pick up even if you hadn't gone into store for it. Great range and variety of good quality products and excellent value for money.
H. S.
Well stocked all under one roof
K.
Great location! Now the Range shares parking with B&Q, there's also Home Sense opposite.
m. c.
opened the other unit and lots more products available . they are still planning it out
though , but its open .
A. M.
It is a big store and you can find lots if things. What i didn't like at the store is the fact that the price of the product is missing. I was looking to buy some things and i had to look for a member of staff and wait for the staff to come back from the till to tell me the price.
J. R.
Great lighting and pets section, very affordable prices. This shop sells so many different things. There is a small cafe in store too, plenty of parking and close to the station if coming by public transport.
D. C.
New store bit small n don't like these nordic santas everywhere can barely find a proper Santa the nordic ones taking over
A. P.
Now has a garden section and also Iceland inside
m. C.
Smaller than their original store at the moment, but they will be expanding into the adjacent building.
L. V. F.
Amazing store!Huge and very cheap!
I love to shopping there.
Only not thing was disappointed.I bought a cat litter box.The price was -3£ less on the shelf and it said -20% off also.
When I went to pay it’s been more expensive and I have not got discount. The guy said I saw the wrong price. We went together back to Check and ha said I’m right, the price ticket was wrong and the offer is ended.I said it’s alright ,but I want to take the item cheaper as I have seen it...and he did not have me any compensation.Even did not say sorry.
S. H.
Unfortunately alot smaller than the one on St.Albans Road and less variety
B. S. (.
Huge albeit not very useful selection of homewares. Some items are cheap but largely mid-priced poor quality range. Staff are usually friendly but very slow, and the checkouts are always poorly staff. Worth going to if you need something random, or a number of random things where convenience is your main priority.
C. B.
Well stocked friendly staff
D. G.
This store is amazing. It's like Home Sense, B&Q, Homebase and furniture store all rolled into one. It is a jack of all trades though, so don't expect to get everything you want, but if you need a range of things for all over the house (pun intended), then this is your place.
V. P.
It was great if you are looking for christmas decorations
J. F.
No queue outside...store was comfortably busy, plenty of social distancing, plenty of tills open so queueing kept to a minimum. Found everything I needed but surprised that the Christmas decorations etc had nearly all gone....
C. W.
Great store.Parking is a pain.
I love this shop, but only 2 hours parking allowed. Which is not always long enough if you want to have a good look around and stop for a coffee and something to eat.
Today I wanted to stay longer and buy more stuff, but because of parking restriction I couldn't. Shame !!!!
K. O.
A strange mixture of low quality stuff with some excellent merchandise. Terrific value and wide range of art craft materials. Also a decent selection of homeware, gardening, decorating and diy, given the limited space compared to specialist stores.
L. P.
Excellent !! I bought a sun umbrella base £23.99 and a wounerful male assistant helped and carried it to my car as it was heavy will definitely be back ad I need a new garden dining table & chairs ..5 ****(
A. (.
Lots of great items from gardening, arts n craft, home living, pet supplies and much more. Staff are kind and helpful. This place has me coming back for more stuff!
L. B.
Rightly called 'the Range' with its wide range of products. Usually find everything I'm looking for. Prices pretty good. Have always found the staff friendly and helpful, especially the lady who was having to run the cafe on her own the other lunchtime. Was very busy, but she kept her smile and was very polite.(She did get help by the time I left).
J. R. H.
Good selection of oil paints and brushes. Only small tubes of Winsor Newton artists oils but they also stock Winton.
D. “. V.
Is just near the high street, beside the rail road and with the two big store of dry goods and also with another store of office supplies. With a large space for parking.
The Range by its name you will know what they have. A small variety of office supplies but has a lot of selections with households, furniture, gardens, pet needs, fish tanks, paints, blinds, mirrors, etc.
Whatever you need you can try with them first before you go further. It is like a one stop shop.
T. S.
This place I can only give an average. It's great if you're just browsing. The volume of different categories and items is great! However, sometimes they're out of the most important things, or what you're looking for is in one tiny section hidden by other things. Cheap though for a while range of different things. More for the younger people who can't afford nice things
S. R.
Over the last few years, this The Range store has really stocked up well. You can find home decor items for a very reasonable price and of good quality. Christmas decorations, home furniture and DIY products and gardening are all available under one roof.
Customer service is also very good and all the staff has been very helpful.
When Homebase store closed here to make way for The Range, we were not very happy but now getting to love it more.
The only downside as a customer is that it can become very busy and there are not enough checkout counters to serve the queue effectively. Also, the layout of checkout counters can be very congested if someone has bigger items to take through.
P. W.
The range is like an up-market Homebase with a little cafe too. Prices are a wee bit up above average but they have a nice selection which you wouldn't normally see at similar outlets. It's just a terrible shame that it will soon be demolished along with the surrounding area to build a number of 28 storey flats without any affordable units. It is estimated that around 3000 people will be housed here with limited car parking and no plans for schools and GP practices. Well done the local Lib Dem council who made little effort to refuse the planning permissions.
P. C.
Lovely shop. Enjoyable shopping experience. You can only park for 2 hours or you get a £100 fine. Its a very big store and if like me and my daughter like to go to the restuarant 2 hours is not long enough 😕
L. K.
Have a lot of interesting furniture and household goods. Paying system is very organised and safe with the perspex panels inbetween tills.
j. z.
Free parking, next to B&Q, a great selection of products and friendly staff 👍
S. H.
I picked up some nice plants they were completly wiped out in the lockdown every body had gone mad so like every shop had been looted by panic buyers. They finally got more stock .and the deals 4 for £10 were back yeeeah! But when I payed I still payed £3.00 each Oooh! . going back to get £2.00 Ohh! I don't think so at the moment!

Hit and miss with customer service in this place. My mom brought a Valencia patio dining set an lovely lady on the customer service desk told me to go round the side of the building an a colleague will get my goods they never showed up in 20 minutes so we went back to see suntia I believe her name was to see what was going on. By chance a colleague walk passed called John she asked him to load Me. He replied of course. With in 3 seconds and coloured supervisor ask him to get a price from upstairs which John said I am loading this customers order,
His reply was so wrong he said serve this customer first meaning I can wait . I can wait. Last time I come to this store
5 stars for suntia an John.
Zero for the rude supervisor.
When loading John said sorry about the delay and that he will probably get a ROD for not serving the other customer before me.
I offered to come in to sort it out
He replied do not worry .

Love this place! It has a huge range of nice products. It could do with a bit more tidying.
B. Q. K.
Always forget about this shop, do love their products, some gorgeous artwork and mirrors. Will be going back once I plan to update
V. A.
Very big place for shopping. You can fond very nice items for home and garden the most but as Well a few things for personal care, pet shop, kids toys and snacks. At level 1 it can be found a little "restaurant" to take a break in between and have a meal. Good prices and good quality. Has big car park and it close to Watford Junction station.
S. G.
Very good selection of products and fair prices too
L. M.
It's got a range of art materials but they're not arranged in a very logical order and a lot of them are quite cheap. If you want common art supplies and aren't fussed about getting the highest quality then it's good, otherwise just go to hobby craft.
K. S.
Good place for cheap but good quality curtains, storage solutions, arts & crafts etc.
The caffee upstairs is a bonus...bit pricey tho!
The tills however are nightmare with no belt to place your items but just minimal space, equivalent to a shoe box!
K. M.
I had not been to this store before but it was brilliant. Lots of choice and reasonable prices. It was messy in areas but its not the looks a person is after. Would go there again even though its a drive.
F. A.
Didnt have alot of decor for kids. Bedding limited range
M. S.
Good range for house and within budget
E. “.
Friendly staff, lots of choice, but poorly organised. Items in the crafts department is always a mess and there's a lot of obstructions on the floor. Watford take note from the Apsley store that is tidy and organised.
J. W.
Came to see the new store for the first time on saturday. Half the old staff had left or got new jobs.
But the 2 people I got on well with were not in.
I wanted to buy a wardrobe and have it built.
But the person that does the building had a stroke and as left.
L. B.
Great shop staff helpful
J. M.
Not as much selection as the St Albans branch
C. D.
Staff member carried heavy item to our car. Very caring
C. D.
Love walk around this shop
P. S.
Exciting to see The Range open here close by.
A.
I asked for one metal circle wood shelves unit which I saw display on the wall and they send me below to find. I tried to find and I couldn't, I asked again one member of staff and he said check around, should be there. Finally I did not find and I was disapointed about staff, they should be there to help, at list they can tell me is not any more in the stock or try to find.
J. B.
Full of chintz and other cheap artefacts. That said there's a sprinkling of HQ quality bedding, some really nice clothes and great kitchen ideas. Sadly the store is somewhat drab and samey as are virtually all modern chain stores...yawn! Still if you're flipping properties etc its a gr8 1-stop. Otherwise a little disappointing and not as good as Homebase.
T. R.
Nice storr very friendly and efficient staff.
M. D. N.
Great stuff, Bought some great bargains and had a lot of range. Would recommend anyone who's bought a new home on a budget to visit.
J. B.
Very varied shop
C. G.
Careful! You will find it difficult to leave without spending more money than planned! They have pretty much everything here. The café could do with being open a bit more but when it is, it's nice to take a break from the shopping.
A. S.
It's ok, has everything you need but I'd say the quality is lacking. Also, everytime I've been in there, loads of items just aren't priced. This never changes, seems to be an ongoing issue. It looked a bit of a mess today. I had a quick look around the Xmas section, exactly the same stuff as last year
N. R.
One of the best shops in the world lool.
Happy Christmas and Happy New year 2022
J. L.
Lots of variety within the Range. Able to walk easily around some of the store, unfortunately there are some areas where it feels there's less room to move up and down the aisle freely. Easy parking, easy access to the store, reasonable prices, great place to go
N. A.
Great parking and lots of it. The shop is huge with lots of wonderful items which are all at a good reasonable price. Could spend hours in here and spend a fortune.
Go and visit, you won't be disappointed.
L. C.
Has all kind of things for home and cheap. Quality seemed medium-low but can't be sure as I didn't buy anything. Mirrors did seem good value though. Abit of a mixed bag, depends what you are looking for.
g. a.
Very helpful staff helped me find what I wanted
S. K.
I went to the card making section. As on previous visits. The decoupage sheets were not priced. There were 2 boxes of diecutters. All mixed up. £1.00 and £2.25. Of course the ones I picked were the more expensive. I have experienced similar before and mentioned it to staff members , but nothing has changed. Also the Anitas decoupage sheets are on the top shelf and very difficult to sort through. I love your store and the staff are very helpful, friendly and approachable.
p.
The usual home improvement type shop, not top quality but a few nice bits and pieces. DD's cafe is ok and a good chance for a cup of tea and a slice of pizza.
A.
Products that I wanted were thwre, most of them. My only complaint is that they put stacks of additional items at the the Isles thereby making them narrower which means me navigating through some Isles on my mobility scooter extremely difficult and in some instances I had to em reverse out of an isle as it was too narrow to exit at the other end. Staff I interacted with were all helpful and pleasant.
s. D.
This place has everything for the house. It’s a mix of decorations, appliances, and even pet related goods. If you feel like some time alone, you can drop your wife off and she won’t notice you’ve gone for at least a few hours. I believe there’s a pub right across the street as well.
A. L.
This store is great. Such a good range at reasonable prices. From arts and crafts to household items, including some furniture, to DIY and pets. Also has a gardening section and a cafe.
W. G.
Great range of products at fantastic prices. In many cases I've found it much better than Argos, Homebase or ToysRUs. You can get there nearly everything and even more online. Polite and helpful staff and intersting additional services on site.
h. u.
Frequent visitor to this store generally all ok most annoying thing is the price tickets on many items are missing so unable to find prices until you go to the till. Plants and garden section is poor plants are in poor state
S. R.
Nice big store walked in and manged to get lost. Time flew while browsing isles. Lots of ptoducts woth out price could use a bit of attention to general tidyness of the store garden section needs attention to plant care
G. T.
If pimping up your garden ( or your house for that matter) is what you are after then The Range is the place to look for. They have got a vast selection of "stuff", enough to satisfy even the most pretentious potential clients. Highly recommended.
D. H.
Busy shop. variety of products
J.
love the range and now it's expanded, i get more excited to go on the weekends haha
S. S.
I went for bring some small things but the rest came over £80 , they have very good stuff for wedding decorations and the mirror prices good , the Cafeteria didn’t have many meals so don’t West your money and eat another place.
m.
There you can find a wide range of household products, everything for your garden, decorative items, everything for your pet. On the first floor there is a cafe shop to take a break. Big car park and toilets.
M. D.
There's a lot of items there.
T. P.
Good range of sometimes slightly quirky but still interesting and good value gifts for others and goodies for oneself. Plenty to look around/at, and next to impossible to not find something to buy each visit.
A. M.
Great for home interiors!
J. E. C. (.
Great store. Kinda like tkmaxx. But better and cleaner. As you would expect 'the range' has a good RANGE of products. From kitchens to diy. Recommended. The toilet also has a good flush for the morning after a vindaloo
W. B.
Good range funny enough Good prices
J. A.
Central location with lots of parking and facilities for the disabled. Staff are very considerate and willing to help at all times. Large selection of goods at reasonable prices. Very much like Homebase which I preferred.
R. Y.
Always go 4 anything kitchen garden or other related items handy to have in Watford given Homebase closed n they opened up. Why why why r they closing it down to make way for yet more housing unnecessary imo!
T. C.
Nicexshop, lots of good products.
K. R.
Good Range but need to sort of the tills for payment
R. B.
Unfortunately, despite the huge amount of wide-raging stock it has that seems to satisfy everyone else in the area, it rarely has items that I'm actually looking for, either because that one item I need is currently out of stock, or they never stocked it in the first place.
M. L.
Good value store although prices have gone up during the pandemic. Can seem a bit overwhelming when busy.
P. S.
Not my favourite place to go, however did manage to get some light bulbs I had been unable to find elsewhere! Find garden centre plants good, but otherwise find it messy and disorganised, especially at checkout!
t.
This store is something of a 'curate's egg' in that it has a wide range of product types but a limited range within each type. For example I was delighted with their range of microwave cookware but sadly disappointed when it came to light bulbs.
M.
It's not in the busy part of watford , staff are very nice and always helpful. They dont bother you as you shop. I like how it is layed out, they have a good RANGE of products lol and Watford branch is waaay better than the Enfield Branch in every way.
F. F.
Excellent size shop with a massive variety of everything under 1 roof.
Only downside like I have found in all of their shops is that half of it has no visible price so you have to check it all at the till.
T. P.
Good selection. Helpful staff.
D. O.
Great place with so many things I want to buy.... This in itself means it is a dangerous place for me to go. :)
Friendly staff, not unreasonable prices, and obviously a great range.
N. T.
Easy to lose the misses in the maze of isles. The alarms go off too much with little attention from staff. Good selection of random items though.
C. S.
Nice place for shopping, you can get almost anything from there, great if your starting a home.
H. M.
Lots of interesting (and some bewildering ones!), wheelchairs and wheelchair trolleys available although the wheels of both can clash together and cause problems. Generally good prices, friendly and helpful staff.
A. A.
The Range has a lot of different things ranging for home utilities to craft items which is good, but at times feels very packed in.
D. C.
Low on stock as this particular branch is moving. Sale on the remaining stock though, so some good deals to be had
N. S.
The Range store has many different products on offer including food and beverages to home living. The store also has a restaurant on the upper floor, the store has ample parking.
K. L.
Excellent range of goods. Lovely service. Can spend hours in there. One of those places where you go in for one thing and come out with 10!
P. S.
Like the choice of goods on offer, shop is still chaotic ,some goods don't have prices and some are on the wrong shelf, make sure you check the price and description whenever you want to by something
E.
It's very messy in store, most things don't have price tags so your always asking for price check and a lot of things broken, shame it my local
F. O.
The Range Store in Watford is excellent. The customer service is excellent because the staff members are so friendly and helpful. Also when I do home delivers the drivers are very friendly as well. I highly recommend The Range Watford branch.
s. t.
Wow what an amazing shop, its like a b&Q, mixed with Dunelm, mixed with home sense, all under one rood and the pricing is great too. Selection of each item is vast too.
A. P. K.
Bit of a messy store. . . Not entire sure how the majority of their items are "essential" but at least it's open!
Would be better if the pathways were clear, better lighting, and signage.
A. D.
It's a good shop. You can find a lot of things you need for the house.
F. C.
The biggest Range I’ve ever seen ! Has everything you can ever think of. Take some time when you go here coz you want to see everything here. They’ve got a cafe upstairs & some great nursery stuff as well.
A. w.
The customer service was excellent.
J.
Very good
S. W.
Lovely shop full of a lot of thing's too put in your home . I love it visit at least once or twice a week . Good prices and friendly staff.
R. L.
Good store got something for everybody very good prices
H. H.
Good service, will definitely recommend
P. C.
Good sized car park and a large range of goods. Hand sanitizer on the way in but strangely not on the way out.
N. C.
I just love this shop. If I could live in a shop it would be this one. So many bargains you don't know where to start. I knocked off a point because the cafe is a bit poor. The food is overpriced and not that great. The service is also a bit slow.
G. D.
Great selection of items at good prices. Staff are always friendly. Nice to see that prices on the website match those in store.
H. K.
bootleg ikea, most likely has what you are looking for but inbetween the pallets blocking the aisles and missing price tags it will take you twice as long as it should to find it.
J. n.
Fantastic shop with such a wide variety of goods
J. B.
Love walking round the range we went for arts and crafts things for my grandaughter found loads although there is loads of other nice stuff
S. G.
Love the range but to much stock unpriced on the shelves and no staff to ask for help.
M. Z.
Very good shopping
C. W.
Absolutely love this place, can always get what we need and staff very friendly and helpful, only problem we have is spending to much because we see so much we like.
P. W.
A good value store, with two storey's and a cafe upstairs which is useful in a shop of this size. They sell barbeques and gazebos and spa's, and garden furniture, all kinds of home ware.
I. W.
So good to have the Range in Watford. They sell wonderful products
T. F.
Not impressed i find the space is crowded
J. P.
Good place for home and gardening.
M. E.
A variety of different types of this gs related to the home. A good range of pet items, toys and food too.
P. M.
Its Gregg's, what can I say? Had a chicken slice, piping hot, delicious
L. D.
Omg I don't know how I haven't been here before! It's like a better version of B&M bigger and more stuff! Wow! Loved it!
n. S.
It would be 5 stars but the shop looks a mess and alot of items have no prices
S. P.
Affordable and quirky stuff
S. G.
Very nice shop fully stocked with everything you think of and very friendly staff
C. S.
Lots of different things, but it doesn’t seem to have particularly good prices or quality. Kind of glad it’ll close in July (2021) to build housing in its place.
P. R.
New shop getting there
d. w.
Good variety of merchandise, not always the best quality and disappointing on how many people in there not wearing maaks and getting away with it.
K. V.
This place is okay i have been at the range which is at canada water that was superb store. I usually go here to buy decorations. But many of times i couldnt find items
F. B.
Great shop. Sells so many interesting nice things for the home
V. K.
Fair amount of ranges for home decorations - paintings and canvas. Not sure about other branches; however, this branch has limited stocks in everything - paints, furniture and home decoration.
B. A.
Always useful but sometimes the particular things you need are not there even though you spent a lot of time to get there. Generally they have nearly all that you need for home except daily groceries
M. F.
My place to go when I need supplies for crafting. It's amazing and also can find stuff from furniture to even pet food and gardening items.
S. F.
Not half as good as the old one, not so wide between shelves, felt very cramped.
M. j.
Poor customer service but they stock a wide range of household goods at very reasonable prices.
L. M.
Good selection if a bit if everything. Sale stuff at great prices. Good parking .helpful staff. Quick service in ques.

Awful trying to get served in garden centre ! Waited 20mins to find someone ! Then one chap couldnt find price for statues ! Then after waiting another 10mins the other chap couldn't get a price for delivery on patio slabs ! Said he'd call me back but as yet not heard a thing !! To make matters worse have tried twice to call store but nobody answers !!
L. D.

J. M. D.
Enjoy shopping here. I always manage to pick something up (even if I don't need it), reasonably priced and a clean shop.
p. j.
Security staff are second to none and sorted my parking ticket out for me with no fuss. Very helpful and always has a smile on his face. Always willing to help.
D. H.
Well worth a visit. I thought it was a DIY store as previously it was a Homebase but far from it. It's got tons of good stuff for the home at really good prices. Love it, will be back.
W. M.

Well laid out store, apart from the upstairs section. It hard to differentiate between the cafe and the store side

Have everything in one. Good for Xmas stuff and other items such as paintings and mirrors it's like a b and m extra store with more on offer.
P. k. S.
Hello
Although the shop has a variety of items with value
WHY MOST OF THE PRICE LABELS ON THE PRODUCTS ARE ALWAYS RIPPED OR TORN OR WRONGLY PRICED.YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE COUNTER TO VALIDATE THE PRICE.
FRUSTRATIING
b. b.
Walked in and asked a member of staff at the checkouts where a certain item was and before he took a breath he directed me to exactly the correct spot I needed to same me walking aimlessly around the shop like a lost sheep..... thankyou
P. W.
Always a vast array of products for every area of the home. This store had a great range and plenty of parking.

Had pretty much everything you want for your home. Some of it is very inferior quality. Nice Xmas decorations though.
P. B.
A wide range of Housewares, gardening supplies, a huge craft section and a small furniture section upstairs. A basic cafe as well. A bit like Dehelms, Homebase & Hobby craft rolled into one.
M. A.
A good 'Range' of items sold from Toys, DIY, Housewares, Pet food and bedding and much more at a good price. Staff friendly and helpful

S. P.
A place with a lot of products starting with furniture, home decorations and ending up with cleaning products. Prices are affordable for every pocket
M. H.
My calculations show that in the event of a global collapse and/or zombie apocalypse, the Watford store and its contents could sustain a group of 8 adults for up to 18 months. Why go anywhere else.
M. W.
Good range (no pun intended), always well staffed/minimal queuing. Great for art materials and general diy
l. l.
Huge selection of fancy goods diy and home products free parking lots of bargains to be had also has a coffee shop and snack bar inside
A. P.
Fantastic range of products, great quality and excellent customer service
V.
For such a huge store they didn't have gingerbread houses, which was a let down, most of the staff are great but a member of staff in the arts and crafts department was berating her colleagues
S. M.
wow, what a selection of goods there are in this store, it has just about everything you could possibly need. it is clean and tidy and easy to navigate
A. M.
Looking for a low cost mirror, the Ramge had a good selection and good prices.
F. R. M. (.
All what you need for home but some prices are abit high
C. E.
Great cheap stuff and loads of choice. The lines can be a bit long though and often the card check out is broken..... For the price of the products though it is hard to be picky,
M. M.
Good place a wide variety of products. Good size. Friendly staff. Not bad at all.
R. G.
Great range of house things. Will definitely shop there again.
