S. G.I found Amzak Design online and am glad I did. Russ was always very helpful and on hand at the end of a phone when I had queries or didn't understand some technical details. I asked him to visit the property to measure up which of course he did far better than I could ever manage. He interpreted my vision and translated it into the drawings perfectly. The time to complete the drawings took a little longer than anticipated due to the C-19 pandemic.
I liked the fact that he offers a fixed price service so that you know what to budget for with no unexpected costs creeping in. I also made use of his building cost service which I found very benefical.
All in all, he offers a very competively priced, thorough and friendly architectural design service all the way to building control application. I would highly recommend Amzak Architectural Design.
E. A.Don’t normally write reviews but these guys were brilliant. We had some plans that were drawn by another architect, which were so difficult to read (think they were done in PENCIL) but Amzak did the designs and plans for our extension and complete remodelling of the inside of our (very old) house. What a difference! So clear and precise.
Our plans were way better than we expected (sooo pretty) and the other examples we had seen, and they understood exactly what we were after, even if we didn’t! Great communication, really professional and actually ended up way cheaper than the other quotes we had. Can’t recommend highly enough!
P. S.Property development and home improvement is a team effort. Russell is the most amazing and helpful person you could have on your team to help you complete your project; someone that you can rely on to help you clarify and achieve your vision. During the current Covid 19 crisis, when people were not able to make site visits, resources were scarce and there was a bottleneck in the application process, Russell created the most amazing drawing in record time and guided the whole process to a successful application. I can not thank him enough for answering all my questions and guiding us to help create our vision. Without a shadow of doubt, I will be using him on the next project and highly recommend Russell as the architect that you need on your team.
