H. W.I've never had need of an MSP before, but when I had an urgent, personally unresolvable issue with the DVLA I reached out to Alex Cole-Hamilton as a last resort. Within 48 hrs I had a very thoughtful response, telling me that, as DVLA is a centralised UK government department, he couldn't help but he would take the matter up on my behalf with his counterpart in Westminster. "Aye right 🙄" I thought, figuring it might be some time next year if at all...within a week I'd had a call from my MP's aide, and within another 2 I had a brand new licence with the CORRECT address (long story) and I honestly couldn't fault the efficiency or conscientious service provided.
