I'd actually give this place 3.5 stars if I could. Really like the new decor, which is definitely an improvement from my last visit a few years ago. It's nice to have a Spanish radio station on in the background as well so full marks for the atmosphere. We were in for a late lunch and I was really happy with my two courses - a tasty, fresh and spicy vegetable paella and a very generous portion of fried haddock. My Americano was also very good and tastes just as it would in Spain. At £10 for the two courses I got good value too. My partner had three tapas and said they were all very tasty. But they certainly weren't cheap and there was no lunchtime offer such as 3 tapas for 2. So our verdict was the same as it was a few years ago: this is a very nice place and the food is authentic and good. But the tapas are expensive and El Gusto should think about some 3 for 2 etc. offers, especially at lunchtime.

The food is not the best of Spanish fare but have to admit that the prawns were really well done and quite tasty. Wasn't too happy with the paella but it was definitely edible. The fourth star is for the ambience and the setting. A fabulous job done in such a limited space. Wish there was someone to play that guitar, but never mind, I'll be back!

We had a fabulous dinner for 4 people last night at El Gusto. We went for the Meat and Fish set menu for two plus the Vegetarian set menu for two, which gave us a huge selection of tasty tapas and paella. Highly recommended, we will be back!

Delicious food, well-trained staff and helpful, caring waitress. When served our meal, the presentation was superb and food was extremely warm. The ambiance of the restaurant really brings the whole experience together. Definitely be back !

We almost didn’t go in because the facade was so run down but I’m so glad we did. The food was sublime, best meal I’ve had in a long time and was lovely to see and hear the chef speaking in Spanish. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

My girlfriend and I had dinner her couple of weeks ago and I can't wait to go back. I just really like the atmosphere and food taste amazing. Probable the best Spanish restaurant in Glasgow.The service was really nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this place!!!

Andulucia is alive in the west end Amazing wee gem......great food cooked fresh to order, service is 5 star, authentic decor great music. ..menu options have great variety.....chicken skewers, lamb and cous cous WOW!
