Have been here a few times now and love it! A hidden gem with good homemade and great coffee (I'm fussy about my coffee so that says something). They accept children babies and dogs. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. They don't open much and sometimes run out of stock, but that's because their food is so good!!

Nice comfortable environment and some of the best cakes around; plus the bonus of being dog friendly. Despite the continued difficulties of finding staff in the current economical climate the front of house staff remain friendly and polite. Management are also engaging and don't ask those clearly using the cafe / facilities to shore up there emotional wellbeing... would certainly recommend this place and its groups to those who require company or just a warm safe space this winter.

I organised a reunion of 90 ex works colleagues here and everything was superb right from arranging the room and food last December through to yesterday when the actual day appeared. Sue, Claire and the ladies producing the buffet were so friendly and helpful, the room was just right for us, we were allowed to set up the tables and chairs as we liked and the buffet food was terrific as stated by everyone. Thank you very much everyone and hope we can repeat the day next year.

I go to Slimming World here in the Purple Room and its a lovely centre, all the facilities you need, kitchen and toilet I have also have had lunch at the Cafe at the Centre and it was really lovely food and well priced You have free parking here too Would recommend to all

Went to a friend's Indian wedding ceremony here. Very spacious and airy if the doors are kept open. Holds quite a few people and has a lovely stage which can be used for a variety of purposes and events. They have a functioning bar which is very reasonably priced.

Plenty on offer but beware of the car park As a Community Centre it has plenty of space and a large variety of activities and events on offer. Staff are friendly and the bar is well stocked with very reasonable prices. The biggest challenge is the car park which has very tight turning spaces and parking slots that really risk getting a knock from other cars in the process. Fine if it's not too busy but the front spaces are best avoided if coming for a popular event.

The first time we saw the area and questioned the que , car park full ,so had no idea if patients waiting hours . so left . Second time had evening appoitment ,and less folk , the job was efficient and nice nurses etc .Clearly those had worked hard to achieve this . Since heard we need all helping the sick and vunerable in all walks of life to also have jab ,as they themselves are vunerable especially as their jobs depends on health. The job they have from nursery to home carers ,care homes ,schools , dr and nursing staff all walks life have duty of care for this action ,and should never be a option . working in other lesser health safety positions , e g supermarkets have to comply to rules for condition of their job . This needs a update . public goodwill will not endure this for coming months . The issue is two way confidence . The way ahead .

Since the café has been added, this place is so much more communal. Before the café, there was absolutely no reason for under 18s to go to the community centre, it was full of "regulars" only. The café and improved toilets etc have given the community centre a new purpose and it's nice to be able to take the kids somewhere for a hot chocolate on a cold day
