Nice friendly staff. Helpful staff. Good enough space if you have only 60 people to use the hall for party otherwise if more, it is not recommended. Cheap enough to buy drinks.

I attended a Birthday party here. It has a good sized function room with access to an outdoor area. The bar they ran was good. Toilets were a little dates but that's not three end of the world 😉

Booked the hall for a 40th birthday, such great value . We were allowed in early on the day to get the room, which is spacious ready. They let us put up balloons and banners on the walls. We had an independent disco booked that came in early to set up. During the day we were in and out bringing in different bits and the staff kept the room locked for us so we were quite annoying asking them to keep opening it but they didn't complain! The whole evening went great with parking available and the option to leave your car there at your own risk. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We managed to clear away every thing that night, but if you can't they allow you to go in the following day. Would defiantly recommend st John's to everyone, great location, great value and really nice staff. Thank you for looking after us.

Was asked to put on a disco here in aid of Parkinson's UK. We were allowed in early to setup and were left alone / trusted without any problems. Drinks prices were super cheap and the dancefloor space was big enough. Early closing time was the only issue as we had next to no time to pack up.
