Reviews of Maggie's, Yorkshire
Maggie's staff are brilliant and the services they offer are really helpful and reassuring.
I have terminal cancer and without there help and support I don't how I would have coped without their support. A big Thankyou to you all plus meeting people in the same position as yourself.
Superb place for those undergoing, or just completed, any cancer treatment. Brilliant and understanding people who can really help you in time of need.
If you think you need give them a ring.
Car parking in next door multi story carppark with lift access to 2 different floors of Maggies. Pedestrian access is flat.
As soon as you walk into Maggie's centre you feel a warm and calming sense it's got a really relaxing aura about it. The staff give you a very warm welcome and make you feel so relaxed it's a pleasure to visit and spend time there Mr and Mrs Osborne
Staff are very attentive kind and helpful
Difficult decision to be inside under the circumstances but I was made to feel very safe.
Lovely place to go.
Fabulous and fantastic place for patients
Fabulous calm and serene place. Staff and volunteers can't do enough to make you feel at ease and offer support
I was diagnosed with a cancer tumour at the base of my tongue, the cancer had reached both neck nodes but nowhere else, thankfully, it's treatable.
On the day I had my radiotherapy treatment mask moulded, we met with the cancer care team, comprising of Cancer Nurse Specialist, Speech and Language therapist and a Dietician to discus an action plan and their roles.
This took place at Maggie's cafe, which is situated in the ground of St James' Hospital in Leeds - we were warmly greeted and offered a coffee, by a member of the Maggie's team.
The atmosphere is calm and tranquil, somewhere that cancer patients and their families can go for support, advice, emotional support or just a chat
Please note Maggie's is a charity and always in need of your support, to be able to offer the same support and services, day in, day out
An amazing place cool well attended clean .Look Good Feel Better the Cancer charity I attend meets there on a Monday.
A beautiful space where you can access exemplary cancer support. 🧡

Such lovely people doing a job that can't be easy. So nice to have Maggies on the hospital site, making it easy to visit between appointments. An excellent source of support - thank you 🤩
This place is so peaceful. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and the knowledge and help they provide is immense.
