Just waiting to try other food only been once but I'm sure with the standard of the food you will get a 5 star from me. Possibly put the toast separately from the rest of the breakfast but know now so will ask next time 😃

I have now taken friends and family for afternoon tea twice and they have all thoroughly enjoyed the food. Not only have they enjoyed the tea but they felt the same as me that the price was very reasonable. I thoroughly recommend ordering an afternoon tea. The cream scones are lovely and the cake delicious, not forgetting the sandwiches and tea in a China cup.

The Old Girls' School in Sherburn underwent a massive restoration programme a few years ago is now a perfect place to hire if you want to organise a children's party, an adult's party, Christening, wedding reception. Join one of the many classes already being held there or hold one of your own. The possibilities are endless! There's also a tea shop and a kitchen. Speak to Sarah, the manager, she's geeat and will do all she can to help.

A great conversion from a former school to a place that is used for and by the local community. Meeting rooms with good facilities for adult use as well as baby, toddlers and in fact, I would say any age group. There's the use of a kitchen and an on-site tea room. At the back there is a car park.

A welcoming community hub for everyone in Sherburn. Fantastic that the building was saved from potential demolition. It’s run by a dedicated team including lots of local volunteers with a lovely cafe and lots of events including a community cinema.
