Lovely building steeped with tradition from what I saw, was there for a meeting. (Not a member) staff were friendly enough.

Had a conference here. The venue feels rather grand and is interesting in comparison to the soulless hotel centres. It was handy to pop into town to get lunch. Staff were really pleasant, everywhere was clean, and the free parking on site was ideal. Only down side was the chairs weren't really comfortable for long periods, but that's conference chairs all over; take a cushion and lord it over your fidgeting colleagues.

Beautiful and fascinating. Knowledgeable guides who are passionate about the organisation. Still that air of mystery and questions they would not answer which added to the experience. Very interesting to see the other charitable side of the organisation that people are not aware of. Usually only open once a year to non members (and they make you sit through a recruitment video before the tour) but worth a visit, especially for us ladies who are not allowed to join.

The service used to be 1st class but now you have to request silver service. The meal was excellent I thoroughly recommend having your get togethers there. Out of fifteen not a single complaint!

I would love to join freemasonary. I've read quiet in depths about it and I have a friend who is also a member. I am very interesting in freemasonary and eager to learn and enlightened by it but I have no idea where and how to begin. I am from leicester. London Rd lodge is the nearest to me
