A great local pub with very friendly folks! For lager, the Madri is amazing For ale, it's got to be Vixen....accompanied by THE BEST cheese n onion cobs EVER!

Splendid community style pub,laid on some good filled cobs for our ramblers group.Had McMillan event on and also able to watch the football on TV .Dog friendly.

Very expensive for drinks not much choice for larger drinkers but the function room is always big enough for events, although one toilet in the men's toilet is pathetic.

Only been a few times over the last month or so, but it has good atmosphere and friendly staff and the fellow visitors are nice to speak to. A go to place, worth the time and effort to get there. A big thank you to everyone involved!

Stumbled over The Linford by accident, was made to feel welcome the minute we arrived, by The Manager, Staff and customers. Dog friendly, and The Cheese & Onion cobs are bloody amazing 👏 will certainly be back(in a few hours) 👍🍻

THANK YOU TO THE THE LINFORD PUB AND BAR FOR HOSTING THE COMING TOGETHER OF FAMILIES TO CELEBRATE THE LIFE AND BEREAVEMENT OF DEAREST FAMILY MEMBER ON THE 24TH OF MAY 2022. THE VEUNE WAS ABLE TO PROPERLY ACCOMODATE THE AMOUNT OF GUEST WITH AND ESTIMATE HEAD COUNT OF OVER 50 PEOPLE. THE CAR PRKING AREA IS A VERY COVIENIENT ADDITION TO THE ACESSIBILITY OF THE ENTERYING INTO THE LINFORD. THE GROUND LEVEL HALL WITH A BAR ALLOCATED CATERED TO THE GUEST, FAMILIES AND FRIENDS WITHOUT ANY HINDERANCE. THANK YOU TO THE MEMEBER OF STAFF WHO WERE ABLE TO SERVE THE GUESTS, FAMILIES AND FRIENDS ON THE DAY OF THE CELEBARTION AND BEREAVEMENT. THE TOILETS WERE VERY CLEAN AND ACCESSIBLE BY ADULTS AND THE YOUNGER CHILDREN. THE PROVISIONS, CATERING AND ENTERTAINMENT MADE AVALIABLE GIVES A VERY IMPRESSIVE FIRST TIME VERIFICATION OF THE UPMOST LEVEL OF QUALITY SERVICE STANARD. THANK YOU.

Nice welcoming 'drink only' pub, glad we visited after our walk. Spacious, comfortable & less crowded due to location in the village. Traditional drink range including some guest ales. Would happily recommend a visit.

Pub was lovely only one problem my friend had a dirty glass it had lipstick on it and being covid 19 is around you would need to check your glasses abit more

Great place to have a celebration. We attended a christening and the function room is a decent size and great range of drinks available and not too expensive. It was a bit warm but air con is available.

Rock n Roll on a Mondays his great. Motown and northern soul on every month. Next one 20th July. 5 Decades of Music 40s To the 80s his fantastic. Next one 10th August. Country and Western 18th August. Very good selection of Beers. The Bass and Pedigree are good Beers. Very friendly Staff. Great manager. Got a great selection of snacks. Cobs, Toasties . Lovely seating area with open Fire. Definitely recommend. If your going for walks around Bradgate Park call in and have a Coffee or a Beer. Dog Friendly. Large car park.

I was there for a very busy wake for Rosy. For the number of people who were there, over 150?, the staff did very well to keep serving cold drinks at the bar as well as hot drinks too. The buffet was amazing and of a great variety to the norm, as well as including a good separate Vegan selection too. The room was set out well with large circular tables, chairs, tablecloths and a big vase of. lovely flowers on each table. Just on a slight downside, the music was very loud. a noisy rock type music? So it was difficult to hold and listen too a proper conversation. We didn't complain to staff in case it had been requested by the family of the late Rosy. Her Mum came to see us and led us to a smaller lounge at the back, which was much better and relaxed. I would go there again and recommend it to others. It's in a beautiful area too.
