s. g.Sunday night, Mothers day. Great live music in an atmospheric bar, people singing and dancing. The musician was a human jukebox taking requests all night. Very good.
The bar has memorabilia everywhere, it was the service that let the place down, no eye contact, not very friendly, the card machine was held out at arms length, whilst the barman had his back to me and carried on chatting to another employee behind the bar. No communication about the price, no thanks, or anything once completed. Rude.
A. A.Love the cavern pub. Great atmosphere, staff are very nice. We went to the other cavern pub where there are bouncers outside and they wanted to charge an entrance fee of £5 and it was only 5.30pm. Clearly a rip off for the tourists won't be going there again

There's plenty of bars and clubs along the street with a good atmosphere and plenty of live music on everyday of the week.
The cavern club is great with lots of history of music legends playing there like the Beatles.
There's also bronze statues along the street including one of Cilla black.
Some nice places to eat too I highly recommend Turtle Bay serving Jamaican and Caribbean style food.
R. F.For a lively night out, look no further than Liverpool's Mathew St in the Cavern Quarter. Plenty of pubs, bars and clubs to suit all tastes, plus the chance to visit the world famous Cavern Club! Be aware this is a very busy area and a tourist magnet. Have a great time.
