You can't go inside but they have a different display each year for Christmas and Halloween, each one more impressive than the last. It's about a 10 minute walk from hamleys but work it to see something a bit different and get some great photos.

Very upmarket eatery in Mayfair. Annabel's was founded in 1963 after Birley's friend John Aspinall decided that they needed somewhere to party after an evening's gambling. As a result, Birley turned the basement of Aspinall's casino, the Clermont Club, into a nightclub, and named it after his then-wife, Annabel, who went on to marry Birley's friend, Sir James Goldsmith. Annabel's was a members-only nightclub. In 2003, Queen Elizabeth II visited the club, and it is thought to be the only nightclub that she has ever visited. In an interview on The Merv Griffin Show (broadcast November 2nd 1981) Karen Carpenter states that she met Olivia Newton-John there in 1971 and they formed a life-long friendship until her death on February 4th 1983. Entertainers who have performed there include Tina Turner, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Diana Ross, Bryan Ferry and Lady Gaga.

The design is the best part - you cannot really find anything similar anywhere. But the service and atmosphere is very average and even fake. Maybe because I’m not so much into posh places anymore, the last time I came here it felt empty and fake. Also very disturbing part is the cleaning woman that is staring at me now while I’m sitting at a chair in a bathroom area. She is scared that I will take pictures now which is now allowed! So ridiculous and annoying - I mean why should it bother you that I take a selfie in front of the Mirror in a toilet room? 🤯 One more disturbing thing was that they asked us to change the table in the middle of our meal because the food didn’t arrive on time and our dinner took longer than two hours as planned - I mean Ive never seen this attitude before in any place

Privileged to dine at this members only establishment. The place is definitely over the top but it is part of the charm. When we visited Annabel's was still celebrating its 1st anniversary. The frontage spread across a few floors was adorned by a great giant cake decor. The club was brimming with the most beautiful crowd. Food was nice enough, drinks perfect. Servers warm and funny. TIPS: Must not miss getting bathroom selfies at the upstairs powder room.

Really good private members club, it’s very easy to get in if you work in the construction industry as they tend to have a preference for construction worker clients (I don’t know why but not complaining). Best cocktail on the menu is the Buck’s Fizz (great for a celebration or even pay day). They’ve upped their membership prices slightly but if you can’t afford them then this venue is not for you in the first place! Sometimes I pop in before work for brekkie. The full English breakfast is amazing but if you go for the oriental brekkie then there’s a good cereal dispenser with excellent choice. Order the quadruple beef and chicken patty burger which gives five guys a run for their money

Annabel’s is an amazing private members club right in the centre of Mayfair. Annabel’s is indeed the go to establishment if you want to photograph and chase celebrities - either for autographs and/or selfie photos. Now throughout the years, during the BAFTA Film Awards and the London Fashion Weekends, have seen and noticed that there are quite a lot of obsessed fans and the paparazzi that would often hang around Annabel’s in the dead of night, in the hope of catching any celebrity.

One of my favorite spots in London!! It is like stepping in wonderland and every single room will wow you!!! I went there at Christmas before leaving the UK, and what a night it was!!! The cocktails in the pink bar had us coming back. We indulge in excellent mexican food! There are no other places in the world like Annabel's. They always do an outstanding job with the facade!!

After it reopened in 2018, this place has become incredibly immense with 26,000 sq feet of space for work, dine and entertain. With a dress code not allowing flip flops, sports clothes, hooded jumpers and ripped jeans, people are, by far, the most elegantly dressed. So, do your best to dress to impress. The decor is fantastic, the atmosphere is dark but not moody and you feel like you are dreaming. It has a lot of fairy like rooms with different looks in each, with a very dream like style. We were mostly in the Nightclub area and had a late dinner. I could barely remember what I ate. The waiters are very efficients. I don’t know about you, but they treated me like a king. They were extremely attentif, which I found weird in a good way. What was weird was the fact that every time I wanted to order something, it was as if our waiter for our table, was reading my mind and was always present when I wanted something. Of course he was running around caring for other people, but during my time here, I did not have to call for a waiter to order. Not even once. Overall, despite the expensiveness of the club, this place transports you into a dreamland the moment you cross the coat check. Passing that point when you start seeing the decor, your only thoughts would be “this night is going to Epic”. That’s was my thoughts and my night was...

Quite amazing. I visited this place at Christmas and the decorations were nothing shirt of incredible. The tree on the from the size of the house and then every room was beautifully decorated individually. I have never been to a place quite like it. The staff were so attentive. Food delicious that it made the visit there quite magical.

Good music appropriate to the place and food is average, the price is very high for what you get. Nevertheless it is all part of this exclusive member club and you expect it. In general, it’s an amazing place and certainly worth visiting.

Sumptuous interiors - dream like. Martin Brudnizki and his design studio have done an eye wateringly great job on Annabel's - to an extent that you are forced to feel how good the place looks even if you don't have much of a design eye. Frankly most of the people I saw in the private members club took the design interiors for granted - but it's simply a fantastic atmosphere. Great staff. I don't think you can get any better in London, and London can not see better. I came from the Ned thinking that was amazing - Annabel's simply is on an uncompeteable level..

The bar, decor, staff lovely! Yes a Tuesday night. Arriving to the bar which was full and fun moved to the bar with dance floor! The DJ on his first and hopefully last session, asked to funk up the groove rather than grime, hard dance... loads of women.. he did for a bit and full dance floor great atmosphere and then refused. Losing his floor and us sad to say. Great venue but not electric! I will be leaving it to the members to enjoy

The new Annabel's is the best example of its genre in London. The decor is superbly over the top and the garden restaurant with its glass top makes just as special for lunch as for a night out. The food is also excellent. If you get invited, go.

Fabulous OTT decor , good drinks and service. Great place for a bar crawl (8 bars+). The garden room : Food is terrible, both fish and meat is often rancid even on a Friday!?? Wine over 10 years old often damaged due to bad storage, you wonder where they buy it and why? Chef needs to go. Mexican restaurant serves heavy overcomplicated bland food (not very Mexican) and sad beer in a very cool cozy atmosphere. Again great place for drinks sadly bar snacks are pathetic. As a member we go reasonably often mainly for drinks, would love to eat there more often but risotto gets boring if you have to have it every visit. Given the price of membership you would expect some quality control.

If you can afford a £49 aperitif, there is no better place to imbibe than here. Small place but cosy. Live entertainment varies almost nightly and good food and dancing available. I'm not a member but have been on three occasions, having a great time each time. Staff very nice.

Place to see and be seen. But unlike a lot of London's member places the staff here are super friendly and down to earth and the decor is insanely beautiful. Maybe not to everybody's tastes but mesmerising nonetheless. Oh and the occasional celebrity will swan by. They've done well to retain some of the original Annabels' charm and sophistication whilst bringing it into the 21st century.

Annabel is fantastic. It is a private member club for the rich in the society. The interior decor of the magnificent edifice is stunning with exceptional services by the dedicated staff of the club. Well looked after garden at the middle of edifice provides the members natural feels while within the edifice with bar services to serve members to their delight.

Probably the most famous nightclub in London. A gift from Sir James Goldsmuth to his wife, "Annabel". In the 70s and 80s all the Whose Who visited the Club. Its always has patrons from the rich and famous and the wealthy and jyst plain curious. It remains an in place to go to. Recommended-especially if you are a first timer. Enjoyable experience.

I don’t understand how people who invested so much in a place will overlook this important aspect! I go there hoping to have the best fun,all is great,we have drinks,dinner but after that if you want to do some dancing you will be so disappointed....American hip hop ,even Mariah Carey ! Their DJ’s need to be sacked! Been there a few times,and it just doesn’t get better ! Also the music in the dar downstairs is so loud!!!you can barely have a conversation! I love the place,im always excited to be there but I know after dinner we have to find an alternative for some dancing . A club should make sure this aspetct is spot on! Annabels please fix it !

The new Annabel's has a great roof terrace which is definitely the piece de resistance. The interiors are rather over the top but lots of fun and there are bits of it that were perhaps overlooked such as the stairs but overall it's a great party vibe. The food wasn't brilliant but it may need time to bed in- Certainly not as good as at 5 Hertford Street but the staff are lovely and definitely getting there. However, still a lot of dubious guests that may or may not be call girls and the same Fake Sheikh popping up. I think the membership vetting procedures need to be tighter- perhaps passports so that fake titles or names can be checked?! Also, the doormen and Managers need to be watched so they're not bribed for entry- This is not something Members want. I'm not saying that's happening at the new Annabel's but it definitely happened at the old so they need to watch out as my friends and I are members to be amongst like minded people- Not untrustworthy scammers and petty criminals.

I've been down a couple of times now - food wonderful, staff give it the full old-world charm, something you see very little of outside of one or two of the old school clubs on St James's. Attention to detail on the interiors is nothing short of spectacular... and then there was the music in the nightclub... I was really expecting something special - a great mix of old and new that would emulate the feel of the club, but no. On both occasions there were 'winebar' djs playing what you would expect to hear in some after-work watering hole in the city. Oh dear. Still it's early days and it can only get better and the whole experience is definitely a 4/5!

A legendary club which now looks like something out of Vegas ...door men in funky outfits which remind you more of Cirque du Soleil than Mayfair...don’t get me wrong , the club has a number of extremely cool elements , the grizzly bear themed bathrooms to the enclosed outdoor dining area where you almost believe you are dining in an enchanted forest of sorts to the different themed rooms that litter this iconic mainstay of London nightlife The crowd however has changed to reflect the times and crass seems to have replaced class but I think the new owners are beyond Caring...who being an ex. garmento has take the well trodden path made famous by Silas Chou’s to riches by taking a highly exclusive brand and making it accessible by putting a price tag on accessibility It’s still worth a visit, just don’t eat there because the food is probably the owner trying to starve and poison the old legacy members to an early grave as they still pay £150 a year for their membership.

Old Annabel was much much better than new one and I can not see the £55million refurnishment at all and I agree with most of the negative comments here but have to say the only security that is outstanding is VICTOR and all other securities were not nice at all in the weekend.
