I have never encountered such heartfelt goodwill and encouragement from a Company. After spending a very long time searching for work and taking guidence and making improvements along the way, I had the good fortune to be referred to Smart Works by my work coach Colin at Work Routes. From the second you walk through the door you are enveloped by the welcoming staff and any nerves evaporate. The interview coaching I had with 2 fabulous ladies helped me no end (how to stop rambling) and really stuck with me at my interview. The dressing was such fun and the clothes were so me. I went to my interview prepped and dressed for confidence. I got the job😄. Truely grateful to all the volunteers and those who donate. Thank you x

I love this charity
The staff has been so helpful
From CV, interview, and casual talks, all targeting self development, increasing motivation and belief in oneself.
And of course the cherry of the cake is the outfit that becomes our armour for the interview.
Smart Works definitely drives the mind happiness first, and everything else falls in place

Amazing people, empowering women in a way I have never seen before. Not only their cloths are amazing, the people who help you with that too. Their personalised interview coaching is great. Highly recommended.

Brilliant experiance and a range of good quality clothes.
I went to my interview feeling great and looking smart and professional.
I also got the job, and returned and got some fantastic clothes suitable for my new role.
I think the staff are lovely and the work coach was very positive when I spoke to her about me going for interview.
They certainly helped me and made me extremely grateful that kindness still exists in the world. Thank-you your a great team.

Excellent charity project, staffed by volunteers, aimed at giving disadvantaged women a boost in their attempts at finding work. They focus on the job interview as a key point of entry, coaching mostly young women in how to present themselves at this initial hurdle. The provide help with what to say and do at an interview and provide a smart outfit for prospective interviewees to take away and wear at a prospective interview, from a selection of high-quality donated clothes and footwear. Everybody is very friendly and upbeat. The project is providing material help in a situation where most of the women it serves feel they have a lot stacked against them. The project works with women that come from various referral agencies only. It may seem like an eccentric idea but in fact it's intensely practical.

Helpful but didn't have any shoes or the other things to offer me as per what it said in their material, so was disappointed (and cold!)
Second dressing was much better as I wasn't restricted to one of each and could dress in more what su
As a charity though, I believe they simply require more funding to be able to provide what they say they do. Otherwise, perhaps they should amend their brochure / marketing to accurately reflect the help they can offer.
The interview assistance was pretty good .
