D. O.Nice and calm bit of swim to go fish without all the public that you get in say Hampstead heath
m. c.Have fished here for trout in excess of 30 years. Not as pleasant as it was, which is reflected in the much smaller number of anglers who now fish here. In some part, the increased footfall due to Wetlands has put some anglers off, but also the lack of TW staff involvement and say in the running of the site has also offended some former customers.

J. M.This place is amazing! Cliff, the fishery ranger is a legend! He went above and beyond to help us out and answer and ton of questions! He was so helpful and made us feel really welcome! He even helped us setup out rods told us best practices, even came to check up on us make sure we're wernt stuck with anything. We'll definitely be coming back because of the customer service.
Edit! So decided to look at the other resovoirs and there all overgrown the swims are in a proper state at the moment compared to other fisheries I've visited not great

m. J.Walthamstow reservoirs was an amazing place to fish loads of different lakes to choose from, great variety of fish you could catch. Then Walthamstow wetlands arrived, yes they have invested into the reservoir but at what cost? Fishing is a peaceful sport just sit in silence on a bank and catch fish now with the kids running around shouting and screaming parent not talking responsibility for them near misses on kids falling in , people letting dogs off their leads getting into your stuff, not as good as it could be, could be better .
