Wonderful place. Filled with so much history about the Royal Air Force. My bf and I had a lovely time. We came for afternoon tea, and the atmosphere, staff and venue were very nice. Would definitely come again.

Really welcoming private members’ club & I’ve been to quite a few to know the difference. The staff are so lovely & hospitable; the food, wine & cocktails are decent. I think the most notable’ commendable thing is the price - 3 courses for £30 in Mayfair?!? Wild!

Loved every minute of my stay at the RAF Club. I had guests visiting from America who also enjoyed their stay. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Even with a baby the stay was relaxing a family friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. Can’t wait to come back.

An amazing place. We had been invited to a birthday celebration. It was beyond expectation. The room was spacious but not too large for our group. The food was excellent and just the right amount of time between courses and the staff were attentive but not overly so.

Popped in for pre NYE drinks. Need to sign in and be a guest of a member. As an RAF buff the paintings and displays were really interesting as was the actual building interior. If you can get in its certainly worth a visit.

This is like a second home to me. Its a very very exclusive Hotel/Club that not just anyone can book a stay. Its for RAF officers and their families and therefore not available to the general public. Whats even better is the prices!! One night stay En suite double bed breakfast and meal is just over £100 and its next door to Buckingham Palace. The price for food and drink is very similar to Officers mess prices. I love this place and each time I'm in London always make a visit. If you do ever have the chance then you can ask at the desk if you can have a look around as its history is extraordinary.

Rich history. Great decor. Extremely nostalgic. Artwork and pictures on the wall are remarkable. History and logos of all the squadrons hanging on the walls really need to be studied closely to appreciate the history. It also has memorabilia of airforce from common weather countries as well. Bars, pub and the dining facilities are also great.

I have been invited to visit the club and we also booked the ballroom for one of our meetings. There is a dress code, and guests are highly elegant. There is a huge aviation artwork for which you can have a guided tour from one of the club members. Several restaurants and bars. There are many places to sit down and relax reading a book or having a good conversation. Lovely views over Green Park. The location is fantastic.

The Royal Air Force Club is a private members club for veterans and serving the members of the Royal Air Force. I was was there as a guest. The staff are very efficient and helpful. The prebooked lunch was very good and properly served. If invited again I would have no hesitation in accepting the invitation.

Came here for dinner on remembrance Sunday to meet some of my family. The dining room is beautiful and has the decor you would expect. Everything is very formal and rather old fashioned from the service to the dishes. I admit that it is very efficient and I cannot fault them anywhere, it is just a bit uninspiring. The service has no flamboyance and neither does the food. It is a wonderful place to go but would only return if invited. Where they earn their 4 stars is when you go upstairs for a drink in the Cowdray Room and there is a fantastic selection of beverages on offer all brought to you while sitting around a fire in a cozy armchair. Could not want anything else from that. I have included pictures of the bathroom as I don't think I've seen any quite like it. Showers are avalible on request as well.

I had the most wonderful afternoon at The RAF Club, it is so beautiful inside with lots of amazing paintings and photographs. My friend is a member and arranged for us to have Afternoon Tea which was presented beautifully and a wonderful selection of vegetarian sandwiches, we had window seats overlooking Green Park. As a guest of a member I need to tread carefully. There's a palpable sense of history in this heritage club, located close to the Atheneum and Ritz, opposite Green Park. Clean, smart and well appointed, it befits the RAF tradition. All that said, it's still a little on austere side. We dined in the ground floor restaurant, selecting from a rather Bwitish menu that lacked sparkle. A perennial complaint for Brexit British eateries is the restriction on bread - 1 piece per person is the regulation issue. Nothing extra if you chose soup as a starter! Nicely presented, my haddock and poached egg would have benefited from a chunk of dark rye bread. The roast pork main arrived virtually cold and slightly smaller portion size than I'd hoped for. Reminiscent of dining-in night at a base mess long ago. Dessert did compensate somewhat. Overall, this was an okay lunch experience and probably reasonable value for money given its premiere Central London location. Might just look further afield another time.

Stayed here for a bank holiday weekend. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend having breakfast in the club during your stay, the selection is vast and the kitchen staff were great when I asked for gluten free cooked items.

Haven't been for years. Parents were both members. Lunch delicious, rare tender roast beef, excellent. The Club has always been kept in a good state of repair and the public rooms are light. Cowdray Room overlooks Green Park. Never stayed, but new bedrooms have recently been added.

A lovely, old, traditional club right at a great location in central London. Perfect for everything from an nice afternoon tea to a formal banquet. Several bars, a formal restaurant, private function rooms as well as a lovely place for an afternoon tea, everything under one roof. And to top it of they even have guest rooms. However it is a private members only club.

Great location to stay at if you are visiting London. It has the feel of an officers mess but is slightly "dated" and old fashioned. I was attending a reunion on Saturday evening with my wife and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff couldn't have been more helpful

Went for dinner with my partner's family (his father is a retired RAF Officer) and the dining hall is very pretty and elegant but the menu and atmosphere felt like a total timewarp. Food is exactly what you'd expect at a club like this - chateaubriand, risotto, terrine etc. White linen napkins, waiters wearing gloves and serving out bread in single portions like it is being rationed, that sort of thing. Service is efficient and formal, not very warm, but the food came quickly, and was satisfying if not especially inspired. I personally wouldn't spend my money here but was happy to go as a guest. The decor really is very beautiful.

Cowdray Room serves to die for afternoon teas, restaurant provides a standard range of well cooked food (which is what you want in a Club, go outside to other eateries for an experience) both of which are formal spaces while downstairs is the Running Horse Pub which is informal and provides decent meals like curries, steak and chips, pies and salads. New Business Suite provides office facilities, the Library a quiet place to read, Fitness Centre somewhere to unwind and numerous function rooms can provide formal dinners for 150 down to rooms for informal family parties for 6. Close to Green Park Tube Station, short taxi ride or 38 bus from Victoria Station. Perfect

In town, on vacation for the weekend. This is my first time staying at the RAF Club. The staff has been professional, friendly, accommodating and very helpful in assisting me to navigate around town. Always greated with a warm smile I feel comfortable as soon as I walk in the door. The breakfast is absolutely amazing and authenticity English. The decor is historical opulence from floor to ceiling, coating every wall like paint. The amenities are fabulous and its in the heart of Mayfair. Located next to the Hard Rock Café it sits between Hyde and Green parks, a short walk to any tube stop or bus stop and short walk to Picadilly Circus and Buckingham Palace.

Walked to all attractions between and including Harrod's to St Paul's Cathedral. Even detoured to the Southbank and Oxford Circus, all on foot.
