It's great and it's friendly
Only thing is they hardly sell anything online, which makes it difficult if you are incapacitated by a disability
So 4 star. It's still really good

I'm giving it a 4 star only because every time I go in to buy some furniture it's already been sold,How? I go in every 3 days First thing Monday and the furniture is already sold. I know they get furniture every day but I've seen stuff just come in and theres a sold sticker on it?
Any way. It opens at 10 till 5 at the moment they only have furniture and white goods and paint and a little electrics for sale because of the virus. They also sell close and bits and Bob's. Prices are very reasonable indeed. They also have a cafe with teas and toast also very nice homemade dishes these very day today. Again at reasonable prices. The place is run by volunteers. Worth a visit.

A good place to find furniture, furnishings and bric-a-brac when you move home. Especially for those on a tight budget.
The staff are helpful and friendly.
Also a good place to donate those items you no longer need, that are still too good to throw away.

Excellent place, loads of bargains to the Wythenshawe community, they have furniture, clothes, bedding, curtains and clothes. All priced to benefit the community and improve their quality of life.
They also have a paint centre ( room) where paint , little rugs and wall paper sold at very low prices but only available to those who live locally and on support.
I often visit the cafe, food is delicious and soup is out of this world , staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Can't recommend this place highly enough :)

Fantastic place to come and browse and run by very friendly and helpful staff and volunteers who always have a smile on their faces. Nothing is too much trouble for them and you can buy stuff for reasonable prices such as clothes bric a brac soft toys bedding ect. The food is lovely and cooked from scratch. Would recommend this place to anyone

Good place but the greed of the lady currently running it is disgusting she has upgraded cars since she started here selling sofas for £700 maybe she should remember this is for homeless people and families who literally have nothing it's a fresh start for them it's never been to make the worker rich and all but the lady currently running it are really lovely people with great hearts and are more than willing to assisting anyone please stop self gaining from this chastity it is a life line to most needy families and you are sick for extortion that

I had to take a South African friend for an interview in Wythenshawe so I was looking for somewhere nearby that I could wait for her while she was at the interview. I came across the 'Tree of Life Centre' on the internet and was intrigued by the name which I remembered being mentioned several times in the Bible. I decided to investigate and thought it was an excellent enterprise, well organised and staffed apparently mainly by volunteers who were doing a brilliant job. In the time I was there a constant stream of folk came through, looking at the furniture for sale or having food and drinks in the cafe. After collecting my friend from the interview we both returned and enjoyed some delicious food from the cafe and she was able to use the free Wifi to make some urgent communications on her laptop. We had a look around the furniture sale rooms and I came away with a walking frame that was very good value. I would heartily recommend this project which is a tremendous resource for the community and a credit to all involved. Oh, and my sincere compliments to the chef!
