Beautiful Tudor house with a very well-preserved Jacobean interior. Bonus: it can be visited for free!

What a little gem! Free entry to a great find. Check out what Bessie did!! And then find out what became of her hubby!! No not going to tell u here go down and see!!!😂 also had a north east photography event on which was really interesting.

A small museum but more to see than I expected. Lots of useful and interesting information and the modern display didn't overwhelm the historic building, unlike in some museums. And it was free, which is always a good thing! A very enjoyable half hour.

Short and sweet visit with grandchildren. An intro to local history for them, and a 1st time there for me. What a lovely building, more a mansion than a house. Beautiful Jacobean rooms.

Some interesting exhibits, but a bit lacking - there's an exhibition showing students reactions to a story of elopement, but no where where you can read the actual story yourself!!
