We attended a Lego experience day here and it was great from start to finish. Staff were super friendly. Food wasn't too over priced and the Lego was great fun; my 7 year old loved it! I would have given 5 stars, but the parking charges are extortionate 👎

A massive complex that was a grand location for a graduation. All rooms where air conditioned with was fantastic on the hottest day of the year. Plenty of parking although big events may have to rely on the overflow that is a 11 min walk. The facilities at the icc were brilliant and were clearly new and well maintained. The hall had brilliant acoustics that made the musical interlude sound perfect. Comfortable seating with access for wheel chair users. Would happily go to another event here.

Well run ultra-modern conference centre in Newport.Great facilities. Easy and ample parking lot with facilities to charge electric cars (6). Phone run out of charge? There is facility to charge your phone for 2pounds. Foodhall for food and drinks on the main floor.

Lovely place , well spaced out ! Service was great all the staff were lovely too ! We were there for an event , all day the conference rooms are big , lovely auditorium fits in big numbers ! We also had lovely dinner in the evening, it was very nicely laid out ! The only issue is charging for parking ! Why ? Also could not find the EV charger 🔌

What a great venue!! Easy parking, just walked straight up to the venue. Parking was reasonably priced. Seats were comfy & plenty of room. Food was affordable not over priced!! There is an option to pay for parking before hand...this I would do next time.

Spacious, aire building, and outdoor spaces. Lacking a feeling of identity and personality, the structure is a modern block, only offset by the ICCW red dragon on the front patio. It's somehow out of place with the Celtic Manor Hotel.

It was my daughters University graduation ceremony. Very clean and welcoming. Comfy seating with on site parking £6 for upto 5 hours which you can pre pay for easier exiting. A horse box style coffee and refreshments stand outside £3 for a coffee £1.50 for a cold can with sandwiches etc. Plenty of clean toilets 🚻 Highly recommend a visit.

Seems a lovely place. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not sure why they closed the doors at 8.30pm when the performance we saw only finished at 8.15pm. Must be something to do with it bring New Year's Eve🎊🎉🥳

We went to a fundraising function on a Saturday evening for approx. 300 people. Lovely venue with easy access from the M4 and Newport, and plenty of parking. Staff there were really pleasant and helpful. The meal served was excellent quality, beautifully presented, and the service was great too. The 3 stars relate to the drinks - not really the price as you would expect that prices would be greater than a regular pub/restaurant, but for the selection. There was a reasonable selection of wine and spirits, and also cocktails, but there were no ales at all, not one, just the option of two different lagers and a cider. So, if you prefer a pale ale or other beers, this is not great, and for me it was quite disappointing. Other than that, I'd recommend this as a venue for large or corporate events.

This place was easy to find. The building is lovely. My daughter surprised me with tickets to see a show. The staff were so very helpful and friendly. The event was very well organised. We were able to get a coffee here too. We have booked to go again in the new year.

Well kept and clean venue, professional and personable staff who really know their job and the site. Well laid out and signposted. I look forward to attending an event there in the future.

An impressive venue with such space. Attended a Christmas party evening. A great vibe, excellent entertainment and a choice of tasty unlimited street food that excited the senses. The facilities were clean and the staff friendly. First experience and visit and would definitely go again.

My children and I visited this magnificent complex yesterday for the first time. The building, the food, the staff are all great. During the performance, we were very attentive, so heartfelt, sincere, beautiful! Delight, delight, delight. Stunts, acting are all very professional. My son is studying in a music college and he was fascinated by the music of a pirate, it was very suitable for her image. The back interactive board immersed us inside the performance. And when it ended, my children said: "We don't want the performance to end." Liked everything! Costumes, actors, music, special effects. Thanks everyone!

Came here for my sons Graduation on a very hot day in July. Outside was clean and tidy, inside was spacious despite the numbers of students and parents. The air-con in the main hall was adequate. We didn't buy any refreshments, so can't comment on them. My daughter said with her two small girls in a smaller room where she could watch the ceremony on a big screen. Leaving the site was relatively easy considering the number of cars visiting.

Great venue and a fabulous concert Christmas at the Musicals with the Novello orchestra. Good choice of drinks as expected fairly expensive but not unreasonable. Leaving the car park took quite some time as there is only 1 exit which was surprising and disappointing for such a large venue but overall it was great .

We went to the comic con here & wow! Absolutely fantastic venue! Was lovely & cool, loads of seating, lots of toilets and so much space. The staff were also really nice & were working so hard all day!

Fantastic space and great for the Rock Choir to sing there. BUT terrible catering facilities. Only 3 places to buy drinks for 1400 people. And only 2 people on each. You can imagine the queues. We were told there would be a bag search and no food allowed in. NO bag searches. Such a lovely venue completely let down by their terrible catering. My advice take your own food! They will not have enough outlets. Come on management get your house in order!

Attended a comic convention here on 06/08 and I have to say the venue is state of the art, so many different rooms and places to explore within. The venue staff are warm and friendly as well as going above and beyond to provide a gratifying experience.

Fantastic venue. Really let down by crazy car park. Very expensive but MUCH worse than that, After a concert so many people queuing for a ticket to leave that the bottom of escalator was blocked. Very lucky no-one was hurt in the resulting pile-up. Shame as the rest of it was great but this is a serous issue.

Lovely space with good toilets and an impressive auditorium. However, all attendees (to a Rock Choir get together) were told we could only bring a bottle of water and energy biscuit for the full day. All bags would be searched, security would confiscate any food or drink illegally brought in...with the result that the queues for food were horrendous, running over the lunch time allocated. Service was polite but painfully slow and many went without. Oh, and there were no bag searches for food - the brave few who brought a flask and a few sandwiches were very smug. That bullying e mail should never have been sent as it soured proceedings. Such a shame.

A review of two halves, from another frustrated Rockie. The good: The venue itself is great - well presented, spacious, and the main auditorium allows for everyone to be able to see what's on stage (and sounds great too). The bad: Roughly 1500 of us came for a "Rock Choir" event that was due to start at around 10.30am (on Oct 2nd). We all arrived in what we thought was plenty of time to get a coffee and a bit of food before things got under way... to find that there were about half a dozen staff in total (one per kiosk taking orders, and another taking payment), so 3 very long queues. We gave up after 45 minutes in the queue (at around 10.15am) to make our way to the first part of the day, when word reached us that the water urn for the coffee had run out, and that its replacement would take "a while" to be heated to the right temperature. At this point I figured that lunchtime was going to be utterly chaotic, and chose not to bother even trying... In hindsight, a wise choice, as the food hall was basically a crush of humanity, in multiple queues which threatened to merge into each other in places, such were the numbers of people involved. Those who endured the hour-plus in length queues (in a one hour break in proceedings) were forced to choose between eating, or turning up to the afternoon portions on time. I gather (admittedly from others) that the sandwich selection was out-of-date so had to be disposed of, and that the value-for-money on offer was definitely not in the "reasonable" category we had been told to expect (£5 for a muffin and a packet of crisps), although a "lucky" few, who had chosen to stay in the queue, were told that they would not be charged (I imagine the poor staff, who would have been at the sharp end of this through no fault of their own, realised that they were in a no-win scenario by this point). To add insult to injury, we had been told that bringing food wasn't allowed, and that bag searches would be taking place to confiscate anything more than just water bottles or snacks. No such checks were done, much to the displeasure of many as the realisation of being a captive audience began to dawn. That said, we Rockies are a hardy bunch, so concentrated on enjoying the positive elements of our day - none of which was related to the catering!

Probably the best convention centre I've been too, cleverly cut into a forest so breakout spaces and windows open into them. Convenient taxi drop off, cloak room, facilities and friendly staff. I hope to return!

No disability items provided such as a wheelchair, dispite being a prestigious place, as you can get wheelchair use at most supermarkets yet here at the international conference center none provided, so if attending with an injury or disability unless you bring your own you will have to struggle to your auditorium. Very disappointed.

This is an amazing venue and a great place to host a Comicon, but was somewhat let down by the staff on the day, who were rude and unhelpful, and spent more effort blocking people from attending talks than helping them find a seat to enjoy the show. This wasn't helped by the map or the signage on the day.

Very nice and spacious. Totally ideal for conferences, receptions and parties. I totally recommend it as it has good parking space for people, located close to the manor hotel and good lift systems. However not located close to the city center or the train station in case you are commuting by train. Uber can be utilized when you alight from the train

Amazing venue, excellent audio and visual presentation capabilities. Numerous rooms and halls. Let down slightly by the distance of the delegates car park, but made up for by shuttle bus if the conference organiser provides it. Venue is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so access to other food places requires driving or a visit to the hotel unless you're lucky enough for the conference organiser to provide it. Great for business and government conferences.

Quality modern facilities and good quality service from staff. I arrived straight from a four hour drive (which the member of staff wasn't to know) and give minutes after the lunch service. The staff on welcome took me to the lunch room and spent time trying to make sure I still had something to eat - really appreciated. The right balance between a sizeable auditorium, seminar rooms and halls to accommodate a wide range of events, and with good quality accommodation next door.

We attended the Welsh Open snooker tournament here. The customer service levels were exceptional - we felt welcome from the moment we walked in as staff went out of their way to help us. The facilities also were of the highest quality. I hope the Welsh Open continues to be played here because it really adds to the experience.

Attended the Welsh open snooker event. The ICC is well organised and well suited to host such an event. The staff on the day were superb, very knowledgeable, courteous, and always with a smile. They were brilliant with me a disabled person First class.

However, despite signs stating that masks MUST be worn in the theatre, less than 3% were wearing masks and no staff challenged at all. Could be a night of covid breeding which is very concerning.

Very well organized with car parking underneath arena and charges not too bad. I'd advise people to take food as there were no sandwiches etc left, just crisps, chocolates. The two men making drinks etc did well to cope with everyone patiently waiting to order and pay for goods. The whole food area could be made larger as it was too small. Then having too wait for the hot drinks in the same area was not ideal. Quite pricey for the snacks etc. We were in rows BB 30-32, good view but had to lean forward at times to see small part of ice rink and also a bar in the way at the bottom of the stair area. If you have long legs you might be uncomfortable as leg room is Very Cramped. Comfortable seats, nice toilets, foyer area lovely and spacious, could do with more seating. They definitely need to look at more food and not running out of this and a larger area to serve food and drinks. The Nutcracker show was First class and my granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We visited the ICC for the 1st time to see Nutcracker on Ice in the theatre. Parking was easy and accessible, though you do have to pay for it which felt a bit much as the tickets weren't particularly cheap. The centre itself is great, there were water stations where you could fill up water bottles for free and charging lockers for gadgets which cost £2 to use. The loos were clean and modern. The theatre is quite impressive. We were in the gods but still had a great view, the only issue with these seats are that if the cast move too far towards the front of stage they disappear! My daughter wanted ice cream at the interval, the ice cream seller only appears in the lower circle, so we had to go down to that and walk back up again which is a bit of a trek. It would be nice if they had the ice creams available on both levels. The performance itself was great and would recommend that wherever you are the Imperial Ice Stars are worth watching!

Not great from the outside but it all makes sense when you see the layout inside. The main hall is not large by some standards, but large enough. The other meeting rooms were very good, especially where they had the woods as a backdrop. All seemed well equipped. The theatre is good on the whole but the view is obscured in some seats. On balance is a good place but some of the finishes to paintwork and carpet fitting could be better.

Tonight we went to see the Nutcracker and what can I say but wow. The show was absolutely amazing and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The ICC is a lovely building, very open but cosy the same time. Drinks etc aren't too expensive either. However our seats were not as we expected. My wife booked our seats in the upper circle in row B. The view of the rink was slightly obscured which meant we had to lean over a lot to see what was happening at the front.

OMG talk about bringing the outdoors in. Great vegetarian food too.. I actually asked for the menu..skillful taste combinations. The room were done to a very high conference standard with just the right amount of stimulation. One thing though the buses are irregular and the centre does not have its own transport...yet. Brand new venue with easy access in outskirts of Newport . Easy parking in multistorey underneath auditorium with direct escalator access to foyer, where very friendly ushers help with choosing the right access route. Lovely auditorium with good views from all very comfortable seats.

Good points, Its light airy and a pleasant space to be in. It seems to be run in an efficient friendly manner. After a long session in the auditorium I've wanted to find the nearest toilet quickly then refill my waterbottle. I struggled to find a toilet sign after exiting any of the auditoriums doors and as for water stations I ended up tracking back to the room used as our conference base where I remembered where one was and how to get there! Architecturally, yes its a modern building but I think it sits more neatly in its setting than the monstrous golf resort hotel building next door. Sorry! But my pet hatred of the way catering & hospitality companies run their bars has been prodded again! If ONLY they would work more like pubs the service would be faster. Overall, as far as such places go I liked it🙂

Nothing outstanding for this place. No place to eat or drink if you arrive in good time for a show. Just before the performances you can grab a coffee. We ended up hiking a million miles to a restaurant in the Celtic Manor which was a disappointment in itself. Not a great day out!

I got there by public transport and the No. 9 bus from Newport Bus Station takes you to the forecourt of the venue. Newport buses are quirky and insist on exact fare, otherwise they’re fine. The venue and professionalism of the staff were superb.

Three stars for the water and bottles to use however the food and refreshments are ridiculously over priced! Take something with you if your there for a long time or McDonald’s is just over the road. Attempt to park locally as it’s £6 for anything from entry to 2hours. Cheaper to park in the Celtic manor car parks and walk down the hill. What hotel owner charges you to park...

First time here! Took grandson to see Peter Pan on Ice. Impressed by how nice it is inside! Plenty of parking. Escalators from the car park to the venue upstairs. Several bars, cafes and a shop selling merchandise. Bought the grandson a lazer sword (changes colour!) and a pirate sword - so I had to have a tiara! 😁 Clean, plush carpets, nice, friendly staff. Show was great! Dancers were amazing!
