A. P.Legal Aid law support, they your safeline when trouble with housing, benefits, right to remain etc. hit you in your face.
Kind reception, clear information provided and dedicated professionals there but visible overloaded with cases and proceedings... Shame that no more law professionals feel they desire to help people for slightly lower government rates... And place beg for refreshing, painting and washing stinky chairs, that's why 1* less...
T. X.I am unsure if I will ever find enough words to describe my associations with NLC; I was first advised/recommended to see them in 2010 to help me with a potential eviction issue that had arisen.
The legal advisor who helped me in 2010 was absolutely brilliant, she dealt with the ‘landlord’ issue’ so efficiently and effectively and saved me from a very ‘questionable’ eviction and I was truly indebted to her and NLC.
Unfortunately for me again in 2013-2016, the same ‘landlord’ issue problem arose and yet again was in contact with NLC and a different legal housing person who again turned out to be my ‘guardian angel’.
All the persons who work there, are truly wonderful, altruistic, and extremely efficient, effective, very pro-active and highly professional individuals who help so many people who may not have the means or resources to solve the many unexpected legal issues that we sometimes face on a daily basis
I have a huge amount of respect and admiration for this charitable organization and for all who work there; my eternal gratitude and thanks will never be enough as they have truly been my life-saver for me over the last few years and have renewed my faith in human nature which had been/was severely damaged by ‘landlord/ex-employer’.
