Went in Sunday lunch time around 12.30 just out of curiosity to be honest a friend had ask me the other week if I had been in which I had to admit I hadn't. The food looks lovely the prices are OK and it is nice to see a club that still has entertainment 😀 at weekends plus they show the sport. Went in today Tuesday and joined myself and the better half not to cheep the first year £25 but then renewals are only £10. I suppose it is to put off people who will only go in a couple of times a year.....good idea.

Been there today with several other retired Railmen for a social gathering,...I rate the Hyde park Social club 10/10... Also a wonderful Buffet was had for £6-00, and with a Jail ale to wash it down.... wonderful day was had by all 🍺🍺

Nice atmosphere with cheap food (special offer when Plymouth Argyle are playing at home) and drink prices, perfect way to spend an afternoon, free entry although you may have to pay for entry at other times. Location just off Mutley so is fairly easy to get to.

A lovely social club base in high park . It has a upstairs venue and downstairs. My best friend had her wedding reception here. Downstairs excellent venue Highly recommend. We had a great night plenty of space large dance floor. Excellent buffet. Large bar very cheap drinks. It's a very friendly place.

Until this year I had never been to the Hyde Park Social Club and now I have been twice. Both times for private functions. Both times have been great parties. Buffet very good. DJ/disco very good, with a nice mix of old and new music. Both of the function rooms I have been in were very clean and well maintained as are the toilets (I can only speak about the gents). The bar staff have also been very pleasant and the prices are very wallet friendly. I wouldn't hesitate booking a bit of a do at the Hyde Park Social Club.

The blueprint for what a social club should be. Pop in for a beer in the week and it’s quiet enough to chat to the other members, who are all friendly and welcoming, while watching sports on either BT or Sky, they have both, and it buzzes all weekend with live music, quizzes, roast dinners, always something going on to enjoy. Well worth a visit.

Open to non members the club served an excellent 3 course meal for £9 on Easter Sunday, and does the same on other weekends I think. Snooker and pool tables available.

The club is a very nice place to go Petty they've altered the position of the dartboard and pity they don't put washing hand liquid in the gents and ladies toilets the gents toilets was an utter disgrace last night nice new toilets pity about the condition of the toilets
