P.The help I received at this office over my mother's being detained in a care home was consistently better than the 2 solicitors I used over the period (even though the solicitors were supposed to be mental health specialists) . I received prompt written sdvice and when I raised concerns about what was happening to my mother they were pro-active in contacting relevant bodies speedily. I cant praise them enough and when my funds are more secure they will be first on my list for a donation.
My only concern is that they are a small team and s
seem overworked espcially as the are also organising social events.
E. M.The staff in the office are very kind and hardworking but the building itself is a bit awkward if you have problems climbing stairs. The volunteer coordinator, however, was offered the use of a downstairs office by someone else to save me climbing the stairs for my training. I walked up the stairs very slowly. There is metered parking on the road with a small walk to the office.
