Ok, firstly full disclosure, I am a volunteer for the charity, so slightly biased. However, these guys do amazing work! It currently costs over £9000 a day to run the service. They receive no funding for government or the lottery. They normally fly with one doctor and a paramedic and essentially bring the ER to the patient. The work they do saves lives on a daily basis, and every penny counts to keep the service running. So if you ever get the opportunity, please donate anything you can afford. It is greatly appreciated. If you can spare any time, and fancy being a volunteer, I can highly recommend it! It's great fun! You go to some great events and meet some wonderful people!
