Not as good as it youved to be years ago in was brothert up in huntington and used to go with parents on weekends and go to partys at christmas when we were kids and club used be full packed in all three rooms my dad was well no darts player and capton for year and committee man

Very nice place to go the staff very friendly and the prices are very good compared to pub prices. The entertainment is very good. Member ship is required. But you can also get signed in by a member. Or get a application form to join the club and get a member to support you hand in the form and wait for the committee to approve membership.

When you stay at wagtail Park caravan park you get signed into club no problem. We always go on a Sunday when artists are on. Never been disappointed. Drinks not expensive. Worth a try 😁

This is a members club affiliated with the Club & Institute Union ,known as a working man's club. There's a lounge, a large concert hall which is multi functional where various events are held including dance classes , a diet club,bingo, boxing & regular Tribute Acts. It is also available for receptions, anniversary parties, funeral wakes, retirement parties etc. Also there is a games room with 2 snooker tables & a pool table as well as 3 tvs for sports viewing. 4 teams compete in the York C&IU leagues , 1 team in the Pool league & 1 in the Darts league. There is disabled access & ample free parking.

Visited Saturday 7th September for a celebration of 50 years of the company I worked for for 20 years. Food was provided for us by the Hog Roast! which was booked by the company. Plenty of seating, only problem was no Guinness on draught, it was served from a can, which really surprised me with it being a working men's club.

Great venue for the Vintage Dance: comfortable and spacious. Good dance floor, bar and extra space for other groups. Free off street parking too. ☺
