Mr Shah took on and won a case of personal injury for me. I tried 2 or 3 legal firms in Bedford before coming to Shaarbridge Solicitors, but they refused to even consider my case. Mr Shah of Shaarbridge, came with me to the dangerous bridge where the accident had happened, and after considering for a while agreed to go ahead. The case centred around a cycling accident at this railway bridge immediately adjacent to the river, where a dangerously hanging sign knocked me into the river. I suffered whiplash injury and lost my bike. It was a difficult case which all took place during more than a year of lockdown. The prospects of winning were not good and Mr Shah made this forever clear, nevertheless he pressed all the available arguments. It was made more difficult because the 2 authorities involved both denied responsibility, however Mr Shah worked hard and succeeded in getting one of them accept liability. The pandemic meant that the legal world was also in lockdown, so the whole case took well over a year. Throughout this time Mr Shah kept me updated on the progress. He was always honest about a possible unsuccessful outcome, so I was never under any illusions about the end result. In the end however he was able to tell me we had been successful! Throughout this time he was always professional and I felt he was genuinely in support of me and my case.
