Very easy to use and I discovered I had some PPI! I thought the fees were reasonable (compared to others on the market), communication was good and for me this was a far easier process than contacting the banks myself which I wouldn't have had the time or inclination to do. Only thing to just be aware of is that the fee is calculated from the gross amount you get offered from the bank, ie before tax, which I hadn't realised, so just bear in mind. Would recommend nonetheless.

I was missold PPI by Black Horse a long time ago on a car purchase. I attempted to claim this directly via Black Horse but they were not able to locate the agreements and the claim was ended. Claim forms are simple and easy to complete. They do all the hard work for you in finding any morgage, loan or credit card refund you are due. 10% of whatever refund you get is not a lot to ask. Although you can't contact them by phone, emails are answered almost immediately. Great service, I would recommend them to anyone.

I paid their invoice promptly after payout- just remember the fees are for the amount awarded pre tax deduction not on the amount you receive. But its in the T&Cs I just never read it. I would of thought that the charge applied would of been based on my actual refund after tax deduction so I wasn't charged a fee against tax lost. However, it is in the T&Cs and it was still an easy and painless process to let someone else do the chasing and sending. My experience was an easy one. All I did was fill out their initial form online, print it, sign it, return it in a prepaid envelope. They contacted my bank. They emailed me to say I did have PPI. I then filled out another form online, most of which they had done for me with the info I had already given them. I didn’t want to speak to the bank directly so they delt with them. Any questions I had were answered within a couple of days via email. I received an email telling me I was successful, that the bank was awarding me a certain amount directly into my account with a link on how to pay their fees for the claim. Even the online invoice was filled out for me. A completely stress free, do nothing experience. And they only charge 10% + VAT. Why would you not use this company, especially when all the others charge at least double for the same service. If you think there’s even a chance you could have PPI, these are the online people to go to. They are fantastic!

I have only 2 criticisms - a) if you do want to talk to them there is no phone number readily available, and b) it's not very clear that they will deduct their fee from the figure calculated BEFORE income tax is deducted by the respondant. That said, I'm still better off now because of them!
