NM1 (sorry didn’t get her proper name) was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Kind, caring and conscientious dealing with our claim…obviously working very hard! My only feedback is I think she deserves a pay rise/promotion! Lovely to have the humanistic, empathetic voice and ear at the end of the phone. Thank you!
Maxine five stars very helpful dealt with my claim. Great. Only downside NOT Maxine's fault I waited one hour forty to get through to someone and music kept repeating same 7 bars. Crazy
This review is based solely on my experience at the claims reporting stage as at this moment time I have no experience on how One Call Insurance will actually perform in terms of repair timescales, quality and communication.
The call handler dealing with my claim (SL1) was polite, helpful and explanative. The information she required was easily obtainable and she gave an easy to understand rundown of the process up to the point of handover to the claims engineers involvement.
Overall a pleasantly handled claims call. Thank you SL1.
Today I spoke with a lady (JL 1) regarding a car insurance claim. She was very helpful, and explained the process to me. She made a stressful task for me, very easy. Gwen T.
Accident 16/9/22; initial call to OC 17/9/22, spoke to Jessica; was told validation team would ring back a few days later. 23/9/22 I rang again & spoke to Adam who TOTALLY reassured me my claim was still ongoing in spite if a text & voicemail saying otherwise. 26/9/22: I've just spoken to Leon who checked hither & thither & confirmed my claim could proceed & outlined what would happen next. From a scary accident to today, all 3 of these wonderful people have been polite, informative, reassuring & professional. Thus far all my fears have been allayed & One Call have been incredible. I look forward to them guiding me through the claims process. Thank you OC!
My first damage claim in over 10 years. Feeling really annoying as the driver who hit my car left a telephone number that does not exist. Spoke to Maxine in the One Call claim team, she was friendly, calm and assure. Took down all the details and walked me through the claim procedures. She told me there was no access to pay as it's not my fault once all have been checked out while I waited. The car will be picked up and I will be given a hire car whilst the car is being repair. What a service, thank you Maxine.
I am so glad that I have bought the policy with One Call.
Theft of catalytic converter has now been repaired. Initial contacts via website confusing and inefficient phone call with someone who didn’t seem to do anything- ‘booked’ car collection didn’t happen. However things improved and the car is due for return on Monday, I hope!
Very helpful staff member in relation to my accident claim. Prompt completion of the details of the accident. Forwarding of the form that required my completion and signature; along with other relevant information in relation to my claim.
LA2 was very helpful and answered all my questions and made the whole process rather stress free as being not very tech savvy I tend to struggle on a computer. Well done

This service is very good. After having an accident dealing with the claim can be more onerous than the accident it's self but although it took ages the claims handler was very nice and did a professional job

Will admit that after several calls made to one call I was becoming increasingly annoyed that I was still no further forward 5 days after reporting accidents, hence the 3 stars. However spoke with LA2 today and she did more in that one phone call then had been done in 5 days. So 5* for Leanne, thank you.
I contacted one call to make a claim for the first time so I wasn't looking forward to it, but I was put at ease as soon as I spoke to the gentleman dealing with my claim, he was polite and took his time to explain everything to me, very good service.

After a recent accident, one call claims have helped me every step of the way. My most recent call was with operator CF7 whom was more than helpful and reassured me during every step of my claim.
I Dealt with a customer service operator LA2. She went beyond any normal service operator I have dealt with in this times. Companies cannot keep on saying services maybe down due to Covid 19. I found it very easy to have my question answered very quickly. I have insured my car with One Call for several years and find the service professional and reasonably priced. I like the fact I have all my documents available on line and can deal with any business online or call and speak to someone if I prefer. A good quality service all round

A lovely lady called Natalie who was clear and sincere and talked me through every stage of the process . She put me at ease and dealt with it professionally.
Also a nice young man called Jordan who dealt with the repairs team very thoroughly and explained it clearly and in a professional manner .

JB3 was very helpful. I have to say that i spent 30 mins on the live chat previously, and i still did not get my issues sorted out. 3 mins with JB3 on the phone and everything was made clear, and my queries were dealt with in a very professional manner.
Very swift, dealt with case workers on chat as well via telephone. DB4 was very efficient contacting the repairs to check progress. Certainly will recommend One Call

The lady i spoke to la2 went above and beyond my expectations to rectify the problem i am having with motor repair network network i would give them 10 stars… also spoke to jb3 today who tried his hardest to rectify the the problem for me and has got it refered to the manager of the repair network was very helpful and understanding of my situation
My advisor (code LA2) was super friendly and helpful, perfect service and receives a very solid 5/7 from me.
OneCall have been great so far. Only had to make one claim but no issues with it at all.
The operator EH7 was very helpful and efficient. The main point of contact was to forensically examine all the details I had entered in an online form! To add insult to injury, this information is then regurgitated electronically - with many field left unpopulated - so you can enjoy the experience of telling it a THIRD time. There must be a better way. SMH
LA2 was helpful and reassured me that the reason I couldn't get through on the phone, or Live Chat, this morning was because their whole system was down. I could see that was the case later on by looking at Twitter etc. First time I have tried getting in contact since taking out the policy so it was a bit of a worry but all ok in the end. LA2 transferred me through to the right person, this bit did take a very long time but I guess they're busy.
AR4 was very helpful. polite and courteous when helping me with my claim.after someone has hit and failed to stop after damaging my car. helped put me at ease and answered all.my queries with patience and understanding

Cannot say a bad word about AW3 (Alan) in terms of professionalism and going the extra yard, I cannot say the same about the Reading workshop and the lack of contact etc, very disappointing.
Todays contact was with James (JB3), very good, answered quickly, we shared information and cements the good opinion I have of the One Call office.

Understood my situation and was kind and helpful...chat lines, queues and online application forms do no suit my lack of computer skills...but that is the way of the world, still there is no substitute for a good listening ear and excellant advice. Operator MT2 dealt with my initial enquiry about making a claim. They were extremely polite and helpful. They dealt with my enquiry in a professional manner and quickly. Operator DF2 then continued to deal with my claim, again very helpful and professional. Excellent service.
I was involved in an accident and the driver that hit me drover away. I was shook up and Alex Tew understood this and was very professional and patient with me. What made it even easier is that he knows the area so he understood how the accident happened. Great service from the gentleman and my sincere thanks. I was then passed to the repair team and the service was just as good. I cannot fault this company. Five stars isnt enough.

Staff were polite, no problem. Procedure was so long winded having to go to several depts and repeating details. Told to go to breakdowns for windscreen, only to be told that was the wrong dept and they would pass me on. First time listening to recorded music only to be cut off and had to start the process all over again

This is the first claim I have ever had to make in 12 years and I was very worried and apprehensive. The call handler DF2 was brilliant! She was very patient and explained everything to me in a very professional manner (without sounding like she was reading from a script).

I have to say that despite the bad start, One Call have been outstanding in their service to me, the start wasn't great as per my review below but they have more than made up for the poor start with regular calls and helpful assistance, I will definitely recommend them to anyone in future.

Well it's not going well for me, after being hit whilst parked, One Call were almost reluctant to chase the third party that hit me despite me locating the car and getting a witness.
I managed to track the third party down and get him to admit it but all off my own back.
They said my car would be collected by a lorry at 7.56pm, it arrived at 10.30 pm meaning i didn't get home till midnight.
Now after no one called me to arrange my courtesy car and now I am being told it will take up to 48 hours for my courtesy car, well what is the point of that? I lose 2 days pay for not working despite having courtesy car included in my insurance??

I have just spoken to 3 different people regarding a claim after a car accident. All three were extremely helpful and polite. They explained everything to me and were very understanding. There were issues with the phone system which meant I was cut off but managed to get through again fine. I spoke to BA6, Beth I believe, AK7 Adam and SW2 Sophie. Fantastic service that I cannot fault.
Was chasing an outstanding matter and getting nowhere, then made a call and spoke to Leanne, (LA2) who sorted it straight away. She was polite, courteous and very professional in her approach. Shame that more call centres don't have a Leanne.

I had a small accident when I pulled out in front of a taxi. No one was hurt but the fact that I had to deal with it was a pain. I called Onecalls claims department, they were very calming and delt with the claim very quickly. I didn't have any reason to be anxious.👍

When it comes to One Call Claims it really is down to whom you speak to when you have a problem. Whilst some let you down operator JB3 is one to help you even when your problem is not within the area of One Call Claims that he works in. More Staff like him please One Call!
I dealt with customer services advisor OS3. He was really professional, friendly and helpful. I think he deserves an upgraded laptop because his current laptop was working so poorly that it took several calls over a couple of days for him to get all the information he needed. He was very apologetic about this!

Took me three calls to the claims line before I got any help. First call she just said I had to use the web portal. Second call advised me to use the web portal. When I said it was giving me errors was asked to try again. On third call - JA5 answered and was extremely helpful. Didn't even mention the portal and registered my claim easily. 5 stars for JA5.

Excellent service by Sophie (SA2). I've had my car repaired and returned quickly and efficiently. The whole experience has been very easy and everyone who has spoken to me has been really helpful and friendly.
PC1 : You need to be patient. Very patient. There's a lot of questions to answer. Be prepared to be on the phone for well over 1 hour. The first part of the process was registering my claim. The claims registration person I spoke to was very nice and friendly - but there were a lot of questions, numbers from your V5 document, your NI number, driving license number etc etc - you'll need them all to hand. THEN, you get passed to the Insurance company. You may be on-hold for several minutes, as I was. Your insurance company, One Call Insurance - in my case, then cross checked all my claim details then asked a few more specific questions about the incident. Then they talked me through how my claim would be progressed. Now, for me, it's just down to the garage quote - then I must pass the quote on or close the claim.
P.S. If you breakdown, like me, you must log a claim immediately - next time I will do it while I wait for the breakdown recovery people!
Today I spoke to JM9 about the last part of my insurance claim. He was very helpful even goggling the V5 form to make sure I fill it out properly .i would recommend One Call Claims as they have been helpful and friendly through out tis experiance

I recently had reason to contact One Call Insurance - Claims Line after a minor collision in a Shopping Centre Car park.
Tia (TR4) was most helpful and supportive in processing my accident claim and forwarding me onto the relevant insurance broker.
The only negative I can mention, in this event, was the automatic multiple choice questioning, which kept popping back up again, even after I had already completed the first part of the claim and was waiting to be put through to the insurance broker.

I found the process of getting to speak to a claims advisor difficult. This was in part due to the complexity of the website, no doubt made more difficult by COVID complications.
Once I got to speak directly to an advisor, identified as PC1, I found the process to be straightforward. PC1 was professional, understanding and as helpful as she could be in the circumstances.
I am still only part way through this journey and hope the rest of the process will be uncomplicated.

After an appalling customer service experience, I eventually got through to JM9 who was very professional and helpful, he apologised for his colleagues not looking into my claim and swiftly helped and sorted it out, I’m very pleased i got through to someone who actually went above and beyond to do his job.

However, after she passed me to my insurer, every single question the insurer asked had already been answered by me.I am sure this is not SG9s fault, but it would surely not be difficult these days for my answers to have been instantly sent to my insurer so that my time was not wasted by having to answer again.

One call insurance I have been with for a few years now, and always found them, excellnant in value, and response. If I have any fault to report, when I want to leave a review on their website for service from a individual person, when you click on the link, it states it does not exist. I have yet to find out if this affects the Promised £40 discount on next quote.
Richard (RD1) did a great job collectign all the necessary information for my motor claim. We managed to complete the claim fast and efficiently.

However I did find your system not very customer friendly. I only needed to notifiy you of a minor accident but spent almost 3 hrs navigating my way around your recorded messages and then Live chat to try and complete what should have been a simple transaction. There are only categories for making a claim or queries re ongoing claims which eventually I discovered were also for notifications only.
This could be easily simplifiedwith a clearer message.

Following a lengthy wait to be answered, SN6 provided very good customer service with regards to my claim, details were requested and good information was provided in response. A closing summary was provided, with clear details of the next steps in the process and what to expect.
One call Louise helped me (after security questions) in a calm manner after the motorway pile up to understand what would happen, she arranged recovery truck and time of arrival.
The Recovery driver was on time and distracted me from stress of the crash. Myself and the car was dropped off at home.
The next morning Richard RDI rang me to ask questions during the process he answer any questions I had. At the end he explained the different outcomes regarding my car.
The same AK7 legal /repair engineer called me to arrange drop off of loan car and pick of my damage car. He explained the process of the repair with the contact day with progress of repair finish. He reminded me to remove all items from the car.
Desipte this motorway pile up of several cars and vans. After stress of this I'm glad to say One call insurance representatives where calm, professional and friendly people who helped me through the process.

I had a car accident with an HGV Polish driver and vehicle. I phoned them directly after accident as I didn't have my policy number. I had to wait ages on phone, press 1, press 2 etc. Then I did the online form at home as holding on to get through again was too long. After spending more than two hours filling in form and then being directed to a Live Chat, I had to repeat what I'd put on form, then passed to someone else to chat with. Finally, I was given another telephone number to ring which was actually the Insurance company I was insured with and yes, I had to repeat it all again! To say I was frustrated is an understatement. Moral of story, if you are hit by foreign vehicle, they can't help you. I've no idea whether I'll get my excess back eventually or not. No damage to HGV either. 😒

Had an accident this morning so had to call my insurer. Josh OW3 at OneCall handled the processing of my claim. Even though he sounded rather poorly on the phone (was it really "just a cough" Josh?) he was very professional and hopefully the way in which the claim is settled over the next few weeks will be equally professional.
