I visited Complete Clarity Solicitors earlier this year for advice on a matrimonial issue and was very pleased with their service. Initially I was quite cautious as, like many people, I don't deal with lawyers or solicitors on a regular basis and I had heard tales of people being charged for everything etc. and for solicitors in general being evasive about fees and miserly with their time. Prior to my appointment with Complete Clarity, I had actually contacted another well-known firm, who had basically said that the 5-minute phone call I had with the solicitor was my 'free consultation' and that if I wished to speak to them again I had to lodge £300 up front. Now, that is a lot of money when you are only looking for basic advice/sign-posting. So I contacted Complete Clarity instead and was relieved to find out that they are taking a very different approach (from what I could see). For example, after phoning, I was invited in to their offices and was given a free one-hour consultation where the solicitor I spoke to gave me a really good basic understanding of where I stood realistically in terms of my situation. He also gave me a good estimation of what the costs might be if/when I proceed with the legal side of things with relation to what is a very personal matter. As you might appreciate, this was not an easy conversation for me, but the solicitor I spoke with was very patient and understanding, which helped because it is very intimidating for someone who isn't used to the principles of law etc. to go into a lawyer's office, nevermind telling them about personal matters. But the person I spoke with answered all my questions with as much clarity as was possible given that he had only just been given the details of my situation. During the conversation I realised that law matters are very rarely black-and-white so I also felt that I learned enough to make good decisions after the meeting. I will be going back to Complete Clarity and will instruct them to work on my behalf because I had been given such a good impression on my first visit. And, based on my experience so far, I would highly recommend that you give them consideration when choosing a lawyer/solicitor.

I came to Emma King and her team during a bitter separation battle with my ex after reading some reviews which kept indicating her as one of, if not, thee best in the business in the Greater Glasgow area. Emma was quick and informative without drowning me in legal jargon. Within the first appointment she was quick to point out my house was indeed mine and the ex had no claim due requirements met under Scots law, huge relief. As time went on (due to my ex's lawyer dragging their heels) her role within the company changed and my case was passed to her understudy Craig Chisholm, a young lawyer and even with my initial reservations at first, as I wanted the most experience possible, it did not take long to see Craig was no less competent but in fact very good at his job, very keen and hungry. I then had the best of both worlds, a young hungry lawyer dealing with my case with a very experienced one overseeing it all. Communication was excellent throughout, all correspondence was followed up with a phone call and/or email. Even when there was nothing coming from the 'other side' Craig was constantly chasing and pushing for a response. Hopefully I will never need their services again in that capacity however should I, then I would definitely use them again, 100%. Although there are lawyers who will charge less, in my opinion you get what you pay for, if you want the best you have to pay for the best and as far as I am concerned that IS Emma, Craig and the team at Complete Clarity
