As I was looking for a solicitor to handle my upcoming ILR application; a close friend recommended Katani & Co Solicitors to me. I previously did my 2,5 year visa extension with another reputable company but as I don't like to keep all my eggs in one basket I opted with Katani this time around. It's always great to get recommendations from people you know and trust as they will always give their honest opinion. Therefore from day one of my application I was in no doubt that my experience would be satisfactory. Katani and Co Solicitors are a very well established law firm and they have a good history and many pleased clients and settlements. I will briefly touch on my experience with them. They are family owned and need no introductions but don't take my word for it; do your own research and you will find that they are amongst the best that Scotland (if not the UK) has to offer. I called for an appointment to start my application in October of 2021. Within the same week I met Darius Katani. Young, Driven and professional. He called me in for an initial chat about my application and assessed my situation in detail. As I was applying from a spousal visa as a non-EU member I was really looking for someone with experience and his attitude and knowledge ticked all the right boxes straight away. I agreed to their rate which was very affordable compared to many other firms out there today. The initial meet was less than 30minutes and we scheduled a day to complete the application process. A week later I was back and we completed most of my application in less than 2hours. The rest of our contact was via email with himself and valuable assistant Emma. Emma kept me updated and her professionalism was really what stood out for me with our interactions. Always keeping my best interest at heart and polite at all times. From then it was a waiting game as the Home Office had a backlog due to Covid and a 6 month estimation on decisions. I really can't commend Katani and Co service any more than "excellence" as I am happy to say that I have now heard from the Home Office. My application was a success thanks to the great people at Katani and Co; Darius, Emma and the rest of his team. I hope you decide to use their services too. Their offices are situated on Bath Street between Elmbank St and Newton St in the West of Glasgow city centre close to the M8 at Charing Cross. It's a 2 minute walk from Charing Cross Subway Station. There is street parking in close proximity but cheaper, more secure, undercover parking a 5minutes walk away at the Gurdwara Singh Sabha Temple on Berkeley St. Their offices are clean and tidy and very modern.
