I broke my wrist whilst walking along a pavement, unfortunately there was a raised manhole cover that I hadn’t seen. I contacted the relevant people that thought were responsible and they dismissed it and said it was just bad luck on my behalf. After much deliberation I decided through a third party I would contact Kerr Brown Solicitors. I felt strongly that the company had to be held responsible and to stop it from happening again. The whole process has been brilliant , I was a bit apprehensive as I had never had to use a solicitor before, but Gemma who dealt with my claim was excellent, so friendly and helpful, she kept me fully informed from start to finish. I thought I was going to be intimidated by the staff, but Gemma made me feel at ease at every step of the process. I was very pleased with the outcome and their fee is very reasonable. After I had an accident at work which wasn’t my fault and being treated poorly by my employer, I decided to put a claim in for the accident as I needed an operation and 4 months off work. I was put on to Kerr Brown Solicitors through a third party and I’m glad I was. They have been fantastic throughout the whole process. I’d never claimed for anything before so wasn’t sure what the process entailed. I was dealing with Gemma who was fantastic all the way though, she kept me updated at every stage, took time to explain anything I was unsure of and was always available if I needed to speak to her. Who needs Digby Brown when you have Kerr Brown and their amazing team of solicitors. I had phoned them regarding a bad accident I had at work and they (Digby Brown) told me they didn't think they could pursue a successful claim for me even though my accident was captured on my employers CCTV, anyway undeterred I contacted Kerr Brown solicitors who reckoned I did have grounds for a claim and they appointed Deborah Morris to my case. Well where do I start with Deborah Morris she was so professional, listened to every minute detail, sent me for all relevant medical reports, kept me informed every step of the way by phone and by email, and as a result of her hard work and professionalism I am now in receipt of a cheque for £13500. Honestly it is an understatement to say I am extremely happy it's more than that, Kerr Brown and Deborah Morris really looked after me and all my needs and I felt they really cared, so shame on Digby Brown who to me, didn't give my case the attention it merited, which is now obvious as Deborah Morris got me a great result.
